"A friend recommended this place, so I specifically chose it, and the location is indeed convenient. The Yaoling Xiangya Second Hospital Station on Metro Line 6 is right outside. The room was spacious and bright, the desk was large enough, and the internet speed was stable. The facilities were quite complete, and the front desk was efficient; check-out and getting the invoice were very quick. They even proactively asked if I needed water for the road. Dining nearby is also convenient, with a convenience store and a few small eateries downstairs. Overall, it was a hassle-free stay. I'll book this place again next time I'm in Changsha."

"The Grand Hyatt Changsha offered a great experience. The floor-to-ceiling windows provide a direct view of the Xiang River, and the night lights are dazzling, making the night view of the Xiang River absolutely stunning. The room hygiene was well maintained, and the bedding was soft. The guest services center was responsive and provided thoughtful and attentive service. Downstairs, there's a shopping mall, so you can easily take care of dining, drinking, and shopping all in one place. It's suitable for both leisure and business travel."

"Service: The service attitude is excellent, they're always responsive to requests. Messages to their WeChat customer service were answered instantly, especially by Wendy and Clara. All staff members were very polite. There were two thoughtful details: a handwritten welcome card from the housekeeping staff, and on the second day, they replenished more drinking water after noticing our high consumption. Also, staff and concierges would avoid sharing an elevator with guests. Ambiance: The lobbies on the first and sixth floors have a nightclub-esque style, with space and astronaut elements everywhere. The outdoor balcony on the sixth floor in the evening was very comfortable; enjoying the sunset with a gentle breeze and a 'Cha Yan Yue Se' drink was incredibly pleasant. Transportation: Although the location isn't ideal for popular attractions (takes a bit longer to get there), transportation is convenient. There's a metro Line 2 station downstairs on Changsha Avenue, and taxis are readily available. It's only two metro stops from Changsha South Station. Facilities: Compared to similarly-rated hotels in Guangdong, the room size is a bit smaller, but the layout is well-designed. Upon entering, there's a wardrobe acting as a buffer, so you don't see the bed directly. The corner by the entrance is perfect for luggage, and the toilet and shower are separated on opposite sides. The soft amenities are also great: Dyson hairdryer, Nespresso coffee machine, and a wide variety of drinks in the fridge, including beer, carbonated drinks, and local Changsha specialties. Cleanliness: The cleanliness was excellent, and there were no odors in the restroom. Breakfast Service Extended until 2 PM: This is a rare service for many hotels. No need to rush to eat breakfast early, definitely a thumbs-up! Plus, they switch to lunch at 12 PM, so even late risers don't have to worry about going to the restaurant at 11 or 12 and finding nothing to eat. Bar: There are different live singers every night, creating a nice atmosphere. Bartender Zhang Yang provided attentive service; I felt my 'Changsha County Chronicles' cocktail was too sweet, so he remixed a new one according to my taste."

"Check-in: We arrived quite early (a little after 7 AM) and were able to check in immediately. We even got a two-level room upgrade, ending up in a ground-floor room with a bathtub. The room was spacious, and the bathroom and toilet area were huge. The bathtub was big enough for one person and came with bath salts, a loofah, and a phone holder. The bed was very soft and comfortable. There was a reclining chair in the room with a bedside lamp next to it, perfect for lying down and looking at my phone at night with just the lamp on, then turning it off and going to bed when I got sleepy. Afternoon tea was provided, and the fruit and braised peanuts were delicious. The fruit selection at breakfast was excellent, with sweet red pitaya, watermelon, and even sweet prunes (rare to see prunes offered!). Breakfast offered four set menus; we tried two, and the steak option was particularly good. Unfortunately, we had to leave in a hurry and missed out on the travel photography and luggage delivery service to the high-speed rail station. Transportation: The hotel has a shuttle bus that can take you to the community entrance (the hotel is located within the community). I added their customer service on WeChat beforehand, and they sent me a very useful image showing how to get a taxi to the hotel entrance. The hotel's location is good, close to the attractions we wanted to visit. However, it's a bit far from the subway. When taking a taxi, you might encounter drivers not coming, but if you're patient, someone will eventually pick you up. Facilities: Although laundry service was available, I needed my clothes washed and dried quickly. So, I took them to be washed myself and had the hotel help with drying and returning them to the room, which I appreciated. The soundproofing, as others have mentioned, isn't perfect near the door, where you can hear outside noise. However, I didn't hear anything from the rooms next door, so it wasn't an issue for me."

"The room experience was exceptional! It's very close to Helong Stadium, making it a must-stay hotel if you're attending a concert. The service was also excellent, and the complimentary local gifts were a nice touch. The breakfast restaurant is on the 28th floor and offers a wide variety of options. The location is incredibly convenient, with a bus stop right outside and free parking available. There's a free laundry room on the 12th floor and a gym on the 27th. The hygiene was outstanding."

Perched high up in the IFS building, located in the bustling Wuyi Square, yet it manages to create a secluded oasis. Entering through the fourth-floor courtyard, you’re instantly shielded from the outside noise. The cloud-level lobby on the 62nd floor incorporates art installations inspired by Xiang embroidery and Liuyang fireworks into the space. There's no exaggerated display, but rather a warm, understated, and well-thought-out mansion-style design that perfectly blends Hunan's local aesthetics with Park Hyatt's discreet luxury philosophy. All guest rooms are located above the 54th floor, offering expansive floor-to-ceiling windows with direct views of the Xiang River and city skyline. Double-glazed windows completely block out the city's hustle and bustle. The bedding, bathroom amenities, and minibar offerings are all excellent. The turndown service is meticulously detailed, never intrusive, yet always making you feel well cared for. The biggest surprise was undoubtedly Restaurant Leela. As the hotel's main dining establishment, it completely shatters the stereotype of high-end hotel restaurants being all looks and no taste. Its culinary approach, blending Hunan and Cantonese cuisines, not only retains the rustic flavors of Hunan but also refines them exquisitely, resulting in outstanding and well-balanced tastes. Dining with floor-to-ceiling windows offers panoramic views of the Xiang River and the entire city, providing a dual feast for both taste and sight. Whether it’s for a formal meal or a casual gathering, the food, environment, and ambiance all stand up to scrutiny, making it a huge plus for the hotel. The service is another major highlight of this hotel. There's no overly solicitous routine; the staff strikes just the right balance. Check-in, inquiries, and requests are all handled efficiently and appropriately. From the concierge to the room and restaurant staff, their attitude is humble and professional, with service stemming from genuine thoughtfulness rather than robotic adherence to procedures. Among hotels in the same luxury tier, its value for money is truly outstanding. The hardware specifications, dining quality, and service level perfectly match its pricing, without any inflated premium. It doesn't win by relying on fleeting online trends, but by providing a tangible living experience, delicious food, and comfortable service, creating a complete and satisfying stay. Overall, it's perfectly suited for both city vacations and business trips. The hardware, dining, service, and ambiance are all top-notch. The unique and personalized details made this stay truly memorable, making it worth revisiting time and again!"

"I stayed for two nights in Changsha and visited Orange Isle, Yuelu Mountain, the provincial museum, and Snack Kingdom. The hotel's location is quite convenient, very close to Snack Kingdom and within walking distance. Besides a welcome fruit platter, each room also gets two cups of 'Tea Yan Yue Se' (a local tea shop), and you can choose your flavors and place the order with the front desk lady yourself, which is a great touch! Behind the hotel, there's a local Hunan restaurant called 'He Dabao' with a signature dish, the beef and scrambled egg, which is super delicious. Even my younger brother could eat it because it's only slightly spicy."

"This is my second stay at the MACO Hotel, and it's truly fantastic! The staff, especially Beya, are incredibly nice and have excellent attitudes. Everyone knows MACO Hotel is right in the heart of Changsha's IFC, next door to Niccolo, so the location is absolutely superb. The rooms are also great, very well-designed, clean, and tidy. The breakfast is good too, but the highlight is definitely the excellent service. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!"

"After 3 years, I'm back in Changsha and chose the same hotel. Not just for the Xiangjiang River view balcony king room, but because the memories from three years ago are still so vivid. This time I didn't book an executive room, looks like my spending power has gone down, haha, but the staff we encountered still made us feel the InterContinental charm. Ola checked us in at the front desk, accurately and quickly. I wasn't sure about extending my stay, so Ola added me on WeChat, saying I could contact her anytime with questions. The next day, when I decided to extend, she was off but still replied promptly to my WeChat. She enthusiastically told me about the hotel's surroundings and room facilities, and then, within reason, helped me get a late checkout and even reserved mooncakes for me according to hotel policy 🥮.
