"A couple with their four-year-old stayed for three days. It was an amazing experience!!! Highly recommended!! We originally booked a one-bedroom apartment, but the hotel upgraded us to a two-bedroom, two-story apartment with two living rooms, which was incredibly spacious and well-equipped: it had three bathrooms, a bathtub, a kitchen, a refrigerator, a dining area, a living room, and a study. Our child absolutely loved it, running up and down the stairs. The hotel's playground, sauna, and swimming pool were also enjoyed by our child. He even cried when it was time to leave! We will definitely stay here again next time!!! Thumbs up 👍"

"The Dalian Four Seasons was our first Four Seasons experience in China. Having previously stayed at Four Seasons hotels in Prague, Budapest, and Singapore, I'd come to the conclusion that 'Four Seasons is always a safe bet in any unfamiliar city.' In fact, if a city has a Four Seasons, that alone is a great reason to visit, as the brand has extremely high standards for location, and following their lead rarely goes wrong. The Dalian Four Seasons is located in the prime area of Zhongshan Road. It's within a 2km drive to places like Nanshan Street, Zhongshan Square, Democratic Square's Tram Route 201 starting point, and Russian Style Street. Just a 7-minute walk from the hotel, there's a cluster of local restaurants, which is very convenient. We stayed for four nights in an 80-square-meter Grand City View King Room. It featured a spacious bedroom (after fitting a comfortable king-size bed, an L-shaped sofa, a large round table, and chairs, there was still plenty of space for two people to practice Baduanjin), an oversized walk-in closet, and a bathroom. The vanity had the essential double sinks, which made it incredibly convenient for two people. What's particularly noteworthy is the large mirror with a built-in smart TV – this was truly amazing! It's a great bonus for those who brush their teeth thoroughly (which can take a while, so I often watch my iPad at home to avoid boredom). Four Seasons' in-room tea bags and capsule coffee have always been my favorite. The Dalian hotel thoughtfully labeled four different coffee varieties with their flavors and roast levels, and even included a decaffeinated option. This was incredibly friendly for coffee lovers who want to try different trendy cafes outside every day but are also concerned about excessive caffeine intake. Every day, I made a cup of decaf coffee in my room, and could even add milk and ice to make a delicious iced latte – I really enjoyed it. Among the tea bags, Maojian was my personal favorite and one I'd recommend. Speaking of which, I must praise the hotel's sky lobby. Located on the 41st floor, it offers breathtaking sea views. Every day, I spent a long time sitting on the sofa here, reading or simply gazing at the sea, feeling a deep sense of holiday bliss. At 38樓, the gym is the most beautiful I've ever seen in any Four Seasons hotel, and indeed, in any hotel I've stayed in! This is because it boasts the same stunning sea views as the sky lobby. I went to the gym for 2 hours every day for four consecutive days. The equipment was sufficient to train shoulders, chest, back, and glutes/legs on separate days. The completeness of the fitness equipment rivaled that of the Singapore Four Seasons, but the sea view is a definite plus for the Dalian Four Seasons. I was also particularly pleased with the hotel breakfast. While other categories offered everything imaginable, that wasn't the main point. What truly impressed me was how few hotel restaurants can provide a comprehensive selection of avocado, cold-brew overnight oats (with nuts and fresh blueberries), sourdough bread, and salmon with purple cabbage salad all at once. For fitness enthusiasts who maintain a healthy diet year-round, this is an absolute godsend. Even more impressive than all the perfect hardware mentioned above was the service at the Dalian Four Seasons, which perfectly embodied the Four Seasons' core philosophy of 'treating others as you would like to be treated.' I especially want to thank Kayla and Carrie, the duty managers from the Guest Experience Department. They started coordinating with me two days before my arrival. Every morning after check-in, they would message me on WeChat to ask about our comfort levels. After the first night, they adjusted room details based on my personal preferences and needs, making me truly feel the same convenience and comfort as if I were at home. During these five days in Dalian, I truly felt that the Four Seasons makes you happy whether you leave to explore during the day or stay in all day long. A city with a Four Seasons inherently becomes more attractive, and it's a hotel you can 'mindlessly choose' without ever going wrong. Dalian Four Seasons, you are my perfect Four Seasons hotel, and for you, I am willing to return to Dalian!"

"The location is great, making it convenient to get anywhere by taxi. Although the subway entrance is nearby, it doesn't have an elevator or escalator, so you have to climb stairs – something to keep in mind if you're traveling with elderly family members. I originally booked a Huazhu or Atour hotel nearby, but my family prefers to eat breakfast at the hotel, so I switched to the InterContinental. It's definitely an older hotel, and you can still see its former grandeur. The doorman was excellent; he always helped open doors and handle luggage when our car arrived. The front desk staff were very thoughtful and kept helping us change rooms to meet my family's preferences. The only minor inconvenience was the additional security deposit required upon check-in. The room itself was very clean, but it lacked modern amenities like smart devices or a smart toilet. The TV was small and not high-definition, and the curtains looked quite old. On the positive side, the shower pressure was great and the water was hot. Having a bathtub in the room was a nice touch, perfect for a relaxing soak after a long day. The bedding was soft and comfortable. The windows couldn't be opened directly; you had to call a staff member, but once open, you had a view of Friendship Square. The hotel breakfast was quite good, with a wide variety of options. Many dishes were beautifully presented, like my favorite Eggs Benedict and the sea cucumber and rice dish. There are many great small restaurants nearby, and you can discover quite a few good ones just by walking around the area."

"Had a wonderful experience! The front desk staff, Xiao Jia, helped us upgrade our room and even offered us more options when she saw we had two children with us! We're very grateful! Although many people complain about the twin elevators, to be honest, we had a good experience; they weren't time-consuming at all and were quite efficient. The kids loved it! All the service staff were very friendly and greeted us warmly. We'll definitely recommend this place to friends. One minor suggestion for improvement: the self-service laundry room only open until midnight, which isn't very convenient."

"I was quite satisfied with this apartment hotel. The location is very convenient, right next to Kaidan Plaza, with direct access to the mall from the fourth floor – perfect for lazy people like me. The space is also larger than the hotel I stayed at in Xinghai, as it has a living room (a one-bedroom, one-living room setup), a kitchen, a washing machine, and a refrigerator, making it ideal for longer stays. I've already recommended it to friends. My only minor issue was not knowing where to dry clothes, as there wasn't a clothesline in the bathroom. Perhaps business was booming, but housekeeping was very slow. On our second day, our room still hadn't been cleaned after 3 PM. After that, we just requested fresh toiletries and skipped the full cleaning since we were only staying two nights anyway. Also, check-out is strictly at 12 PM; they even called us at 11:50 AM to hurry up. It would have been great if we could have extended check-out until 2 PM since our flight was in the evening."

The entire space is tranquil and relaxing, far from the hustle and bustle. Housekeeper Lisa was attentive and thoughtful, responding promptly and with just the right amount of detail and professionalism. Although the hotel facilities are dated, they exude a wonderful castle ambiance. The lobby and the aerial garden in the atrium are perfect for photos. The children had a great time at the kids' club and participated in the hotel's castle adventure activity. It was a truly wonderful stay, filled with joy, and I wholeheartedly recommend it."

"First, the pros: The location is excellent, right in Donggang, next to Venice. You can walk to several popular spots nearby, feed seagulls, and it's very convenient to call a taxi. The concierge staff at the entrance were all fantastic, helping with car doors, closing them, and handling luggage. The front desk staff who checked me in also gave a detailed heads-up about the hot water usage. They even sent a birthday cake, which was a lovely gesture, but unfortunately, I came back too late that night and couldn't eat it. Room service for deliveries was also available. Now, for the cons: It's definitely not a traditional five-star hotel as there's no pool or bathtub. And honestly, the water heater really needs an upgrade. When four people took turns showering in the evening, we had to wait at least an hour or more between each person."

"The location is great, very close to Zhongshan Square, and you can walk to all the popular Instagrammable spots there. It's also easy to walk to other nearby areas, and transportation is very convenient. There are plenty of restaurants around, and a pleasant surprise was finding a market right next door. The room wasn't huge, but it was very clean, and the service was excellent."

"The facilities are a bit older but clean. The breakfast is rich and delicious, and the freshly ground coffee is great. Adding breakfast for 89 RMB is really good value. Overall, the instant coffee in the room was a drawback, as I usually stay in places with capsule coffee machines. The underground parking garage is quite old and run-down, but at least parking is convenient and free. There are many small and large restaurants around the hotel, as well as a small ice sculpture museum with a slide, which my kids from the south absolutely loved. The 201 retro tram station is right downstairs, and Russian Style Street is within walking distance, making it very convenient for sightseeing. I also walked to and checked out Dongbei Lingdan Coffee, which was excellent."
