"Upon entering the first room, there was a pungent smell that my mother absolutely couldn't stand, so she requested a room change. After leaving the room, we saw two other rooms being cleaned, and they also had that strong odor. Afterward, a friendly front desk staff member showed us two more rooms; one had the smell, and the other didn't. Even though we had already partially used the original room, the front desk was very accommodating and switched our room, which was excellent service. The swimming pool was just okay, and the restrooms were decent, but the locker room's disinfected shoe cabinets also had a foul smell, making us hesitant to wear the provided slippers. The hotel rooms are visibly old. In the room before we switched, the wallpaper and cabinet doors were noticeably worn and tattered, and there were no tissues on the desk. The new room was a bit better. In the original room, even with the AC set to 16 degrees, it was only cool, not cold at all, but the air conditioning in the new room was much stronger. The cookies given by the front desk were quite tasty. This hotel is not in the old town; it seems to be in a newer area. To go to the old town for food and sightseeing, you have to cross a bridge every time, so those who mind should consider this carefully."

My child ran wild on the grass, and I, as a mom, finally got to indulge in my photography obsession, snapping away happily! 📸💦 Family Water Play Paradise: The mosaic-tiled, volcano-shaped fountain is incredibly well-designed! With gurgling water and swaying palm trees, it's a cool and refreshing haven for splashing around in the summer – definitely the perfect spot to beat the heat. 🌴🦕 Themed Rooms with Impeccable Details: The 'Dino Overlord Room' features a soft-padded headboard shaped like an adorable dinosaur, complemented by warm orange forest murals. It feels like sleeping in the Jurassic world, full of both security and childlike wonder.🧶 Indoor Art Surprise: The giant knitted Triceratops in the lobby is an absolute work of art! Its colorful, woven texture is warm and soothing. The kids were mesmerized by it, and even the adults couldn't resist taking photos. The entire space exudes a soft, fairytale-like ambiance. 🥙 Town's Specialty Dining: A hidden gem with Thai cuisine, BBQ, and even a late-night eatery. The food quality is truly excellent, the service is attentive, and the attention to detail is superb. I'm already planning another visit this summer."

"Our stay at Heyuan Xiangfeng International Hotel was a happy accident. We were driving from Zhaoqing to Shantou, which is quite a long journey, so we decided to break it up with an overnight stay in a city somewhere in the middle. I just picked a hotel near the river from the map. Once we checked in, we were really impressed. The hotel is definitely older, but you can still see its former glory, and they've maintained their unique character through meticulous details and management. The cleanliness of the entire hotel was astonishing. The small hand towels in the bathroom were individually packaged in plastic after being disinfected, and there wasn't a single black spot on any of the silicone in the corners. Even though the furniture and decor are dated, everything was spotless. The staff, from front desk to housekeeping, were all incredibly polite, on par with what you'd expect at a luxury hotel. The hotel management has clearly put a lot of effort into this aspect."

"I stayed here for two nights, in the same room type, but had to switch rooms once during my stay. The first night was quite good. However, in the second room on the second night, the bedside table was dusty and the floor wasn't very clean. For breakfast, the first day was a weekend and it was acceptable. But on Monday morning, the second day, there was less than half the selection – it was far too sloppy for a buffet breakfast. The complimentary vouchers were also a letdown. The hot spring water wasn't hot and the facilities looked old. The forest park was impossible to enjoy in summer due to the intense sun. And the coffee voucher could only be used after 12 PM. Overall, my stay experience was significantly diminished."

"Stayed at the Palm Tree Hotel with my kids, and overall, it was a great experience! The hotel's location is excellent, very close to Legoland and the bonfire party area for the evenings. Our butler, Kiki, provided great service and was always quick to answer any questions. We did have a minor issue during our stay – the toothbrushes in the room shed bristles – but everything else was fantastic."

"The courtyard duplex we stayed in was quite clean and tidy. Our housekeeper, Xiao Ou, was very patient, giving us directions, providing complimentary fruit and supplies. The town itself had great scenery and fresh air, and there were many activities to do, making it suitable for family trips. I would definitely come again if I have the chance! 😊"

For our two adults and two children, the housekeeper arranged the room and bedding to our exacting specifications. A special thank you to our housekeepers, Xiao Feng and Xiao Xu, for their attentive service. During our stay, all reasonable requests were met with responsiveness. The hotel's public areas, while small, are exquisite. The pool is clean, and I particularly enjoyed the Japanese-style hot springs, with smooth, warm water. Best of all, the mornings and evenings are less crowded and especially comfortable. The public areas feel like a private garden. The breakfast was also plentiful and we devoured it all. The complimentary Spring Bathing Town also offers a wealth of activities, especially the kayaking, which was a delight. The hotel's design offers a changing landscape, and I spent a truly relaxing weekend."
