A bit old, but otherwise pretty good. **Location:** There's an indoor walkway directly to the hot springs. They offer a shuttle to Nanshan Bamboo Sea every half hour. It's only a five-minute drive, and then another five-minute walk to the scenic area entrance. The best part is unlimited free entry and exit during your stay. **Service:** Most of the staff are quite good, enthusiastic and professional. A small number, well, they're just doing their jobs, can't really say they're bad. **Dining:** The breakfast variety isn't huge, but the taste is decent. Options for takeout or eating out nearby aren't extensive, but acceptable, and available quite late. **Room:** The style and furnishings are a bit dated, but it's relatively clean. Tianmu Lake Fisherman's Head Soup, which was first created by the catering department of Tianmu Lake Hotel, is a major feature of the hotel. This time I came here to taste it. The fisherman's head soup tastes good, and I also tasted other varieties of dishes. The restaurant waiters are thoughtful and worthy of praise. The self-service breakfast restaurant in the hotel has a good environment, facing Tianmu Lake, with a variety of breakfast varieties, and Western-style snacks are worth tasting. The waiters are enthusiastic and caring for the elderly and help them deliver meals to the table, which is worthy of praise.

However, I was arranged in the two rooms facing the elevator. Fortunately, the hotel business was average, so there was no noise. In fact, the difference between executive and luxury is just more bathtubs and a few bottles of free drinks. The room is large and the facilities are very good. The bathroom has a slight odor, but it is fine as long as the toilet door is closed. The high floor where I live may also have something to do with it. I did not encounter the odor problem mentioned in the bad reviews. Objectively speaking, if I don’t take a hot spring bath, it is better than the Yushui Hot Spring Hotel where I stayed the next day, and the price is cheaper. The main reason is the geographical location. It is 50 minutes drive from Nanshan Bamboo Sea and 22 minutes from Shanshui Garden. There is a shopping mall nearby, so it is worth it to be farther away. There are many types of breakfast, and the taste is okay. The vegetables are salty, but it is worth the price. We added a breakfast for teenagers, which cost 28 yuan. The hotel’s Chinese restaurant is particularly good, with five-star service. The Ctrip group meal is very cost-effective. If you add a la carte dishes, the taste is good. Here is a suggestion: add a door to the bathroom area so that families with older children can avoid embarrassment. After taking a shower, you have to put on your clothes in the shower room before you can come out, which is very inconvenient. You can add a toothbrush drawer box to the basin position, and put the cups on the box. Don't put everything on the countertop, so where do you put the guests' clothes?

The uncles and aunts were still talking at 10:50 pm. The sound insulation was not good, and the experience was directly negative! 🍉Welcome gift was a big failure: I used points to exchange for ”Welcome Fruit Yogurt”, but I got a small tomato (one of which was rotten) + 2 cans of 100g Mengniu yogurt... Let's say that the points were exchanged for loneliness😓 💧The most confusing operation: The child needs warm water to make milk powder, and there are only 2 bottles of free mineral water in the room. I asked the housekeeper for 2 more bottles, but he said ”refills are charged”? ? ? The layout is too small🤦♀️ 🍳 Big disappointment in breakfast: It is advertised as ”rich buffet”, but in fact, children over 120cm are charged 68 yuan, but looking at it: biscuits, twisted dough sticks, three kinds of white porridge... hot dishes are like lettuce and cauliflower, with few choices and low value for money!

The private hot spring in the room was clean and hygienic, with a dedicated hot spring bath for each guest, and the water temperature was adjustable. Delicious snacks and drinks were provided before check-in, and the hot spring room also included complimentary drinks – a thoughtful touch. The service throughout was gentle and attentive, without any complicated procedures, allowing for a quiet and relaxing stay. We even received a heartwarming gift upon departure. The entire experience was comfortable and worry-free, making it a very satisfying vacation stay – highly recommended!

The place is great for families! I love the setup of the room- balcony and leisure area. They have outdoor activities like ATV, horse riding and kayaking which we enjoyed a lot. Breakfast has nice options, both Chinese and western food. Distance to Nanshan Bamboo Forest is close, and everything else is accessible from the hotel. If you want to go to Tianmahu lake, you can just get a coach nearby. Altogether our experience for 2 nights was lovely! We will book the same hotel when we visit Liyang again in the future.
