We were impressed with the warm service from the staff members that went out of their way to create a memorable birthday trip for my wife. The resort's location is excellent, offering a close proximity walking distance to Guanyin Dharma Realm (Guanyin Fajie), and the hotel is conveniently situated just 10 minutes away from the ferry pier to Mount Putuo. What impressed us the most was their attention to detail and their genuine heart to take care of us; knowing that we were enjoying the birthday cake they prepared for us inside the room, when we went to their vegetarian restaurant, they discreetly approached the table, addressed the guest's name and said since they have already prepared the cake for us, they would offer an alternative longevity noodles with the words happy birthday carved out of carrots which was a simple but lovely touch. Communication across the hotel was seamless and the in-room amenities were of a high quality. They also made cute towel art to decorate the room and gifted us a sandalwood room spray which was the hotel's scent and it was calming and soothing to smell. There were also buggies available to take us around the resort and right to the entrance of the main attraction next to the hotel which was convenient and useful.

I've stayed at many Novotels both in China and abroad, and this one maintains the same high standard. Check-in at the front desk was quick, and the service attitude was excellent. The location is central in Zhoushan, about a ten to fifteen-minute walk to Dinghai Ancient City and West Street. It's about a forty-minute drive to Zhujiajian. The room was clean and simple, with all the necessary amenities. There were plenty of USB ports, which made charging convenient. The breakfast was plentiful, and the coffee tasted good. Just a couple of minor issues that the management should address: The shower water pressure wasn't very stable, fluctuating between hot and cold. This is fine in summer, but it would be unacceptable in winter. Or perhaps it was just my room? The Wi-Fi was slow, and then eventually stopped working altogether. I tried it with two phones and got the same result, but since I have a lot of data, I just didn't bother with the Wi-Fi.

💯 Zhoushan Senbo | Vacations aren't just about playing, but about making memories too. I used to think that when you traveled, you either just focused on playing or were busy taking photos. But this time, staying at Kaiyuan Senbo, I realized you can have it all! 🌊 The constant temperature water park means no worries about sun or rain, and the kids absolutely loved all the slides. The Fantasy Island is super spacious, enough for the kids to run wild all afternoon. The infinity pool on the top floor overlooks the sea, and the sunset in the evening was truly romantic 🌅. The biggest bonus was the hotel's travel photography service 📷! No need to take a taxi to a distant beach, there are so many beautiful spots right within the resort. The photographer didn't make us pose stiffly, instead, they played with the children, capturing those spontaneous smiles, hugs, and moments of running around. There was no rush to get to the next activity, we enjoyed a seaside vacation while also getting a set of warm parent-child photos. The room was clean, the service was thoughtful, and the breakfast was delicious. This trip was truly worth it! ✨

First of all, the hotel boasts an exceptional location, right next to Yueling Zen Temple and just a few minutes' walk from Chaoyang Pavilion, the island's best sunrise viewpoint. Secondly, as an upscale brand under Huazhu Hotels Group, both the environment and service were top-notch. From the warm greetings and in-house activities to the shuttle service, everything was thoroughly thoughtful. Looking forward to staying here again!

The sea view is amazing, and the hotel facilities are excellent. The changing rooms by the pool are equipped with spin dryers and a sauna. The kids' club has electric bumper cars and a ball pit, and there's staff to supervise. The sports area offers table tennis and billiards. There are also three restaurants on the second floor. The robot ice cream in the lobby reminded me of the Bionic Bar on Spectrum of the Seas. Overall, it's great value for money.

This time, I chose to visit Putuo Mountain in early August for incense offerings, and I checked into the Hilton Garden Inn a day in advance. After getting off the ferry, the hotel's shuttle bus was conveniently waiting at the parking lot to the left of Putuo Mountain's main gate to pick up guests, making the check-in process effortless. The front desk upgraded us to a twin room with a balcony. The room was clean and comfortable, and being able to open the balcony door for ventilation was a great plus! 👍 The breakfast had a wide variety of options, including seafood noodles, which are a signature dish in all the restaurants on Putuo Mountain! The hotel is a five-minute walk from the Fayu Temple bus stop, where you can catch a 5 yuan minibus to other temples like Pujin Temple and Nanhai Guanyin – very convenient and quick! Five-star rating!

Staying at The Westin Zhoushan Zhujiajian Resort this time was an overall experience that exceeded my expectations, absolutely deserving a 5-star review! The room was spacious and comfortable, and the floor-to-ceiling windows in the direct ocean view room offered stunning vistas. Lying in bed in the morning to watch the sunrise over the sea was amazing, and the Westin Heavenly Bed had just the right firmness, ensuring a wonderful night's sleep. The breakfast at the restaurant was abundant, featuring both Chinese and Western options. The seafood noodles were flavorful with generous ingredients, making it a delight to eat while taking in the sea view. The outdoor landscape is another major highlight; the hotel has direct access to Dongsha Beach, which is complimentary with the room card. The sand is fine and soft, and the area is uncrowded and quiet. Taking a stroll and splashing in the waves at dusk was so relaxing, and the outdoor pool is also great for unwinding. Special thanks to Claire at the front desk. She was enthusiastic and professional during check-in, patiently introducing the hotel facilities and surrounding tourist routes, and thoughtfully reminding us of the sunrise time and beach entrance. Her meticulous and warm service made this vacation even more perfect. Highly recommended, and I will definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit Zhoushan!

Whenever I visit Mount Putuo, this hotel is always my first choice. In fact, I've stayed here several times now. Its location is absolutely superb, right next to Fayu Temple, with Qianbu Beach directly in front, and a path leading straight up to Foding Mountain. The hotel itself is exquisite, elegant, and cozy, surrounded by lush greenery, offering a tranquil environment with a strong Zen ambiance. It was the rainy season during my stay, and sitting quietly, sipping tea, and listening to the rain brought a wonderful sense of peace and joy. The reception and restaurant staff provided excellent service, a special shout-out to them. This time, I also got to experience the complimentary travel photoshoot, and the photographer did a fantastic job – another big thumbs up!

This is a temporary stop for Zhujiajian sea fishing. There aren't many dining options nearby, but food delivery is convenient. Overall, for the off-season, the room quality at this price is quite good, but there are still many details that could be improved. For example, the refrigerator wasn't plugged in, and when it was, it was too noisy. The showerhead also didn't work well.

The hotel staff was good, but ı got a problem for payment with Visa credit card. As a global brand hotel 'Shangri-La” expected to accept internationla credit card payments but unfortunately not succesfull. Also Trip.com do not have agreement with hotel for ”online payment” which I can easly submit payment, but again unsuccesfull. Hope you can improve your service and agreement to give better support foreigner guest in China mainland.
