"The hotel is advertised as having a gourmet restaurant, but in my opinion the food did not quite meet gourmet standards. That said, we booked a sea-facing unit and the view was absolutely magnificent — very peaceful and calming. Kamala Beach in general is a quieter area, which we really appreciated. There is a shuttle service provided, but the timing is quite limited. Given the price guests pay for this hotel, it would be better to have more frequent shuttle services instead of fixed timings. That said, it only takes about 10 minutes to walk from the hotel to the main street where there are many shops and restaurants, so it is still manageable. One issue we faced was that there was no clear sign or button in the room to indicate housekeeping service, and as a result, we ended up not having housekeeping during our stay. The phone line in the room also needs attention, as there was noticeable disturbance noise when calling reception. Overall, it is a nice place to stay with beautiful views and a relaxing atmosphere, but there are some service and maintenance areas that management could improve further."

"The room boasts standard five-star amenities, feeling neither damp nor outdated. While the ocean view from my room wasn't spectacular due to its lower floor, its proximity to the restaurant, lobby, and pool made getting around incredibly convenient. Breakfast quality was excellent, and the service was impeccable; the Thai smiles always put me at ease. The 'casa' (villa/suite) offered incredible views, and the sunsets and evening glow were stunning. The pool was large, though a bit exposed to the sun with no shade. The main drawback is the location, which is a bit remote – about 2 km from Kamala town, and a taxi to Patong starts at 200 THB. The beach right in front of the hotel was quite poor, with rough, yellowish sand that hurt my feet, and the ocean wasn't great either. However, for a pure resort stay, it's a fantastic choice."

"We stayed in a room with direct pool access for 4 nights and had a very warm, welcoming hospitality experience overall. The staff were excellent, but the hotel itself and its facilities were a bit hit-and-miss. The property feels dated and could use some renovation—the buildings show discoloration, and there was mold in the bathroom along with an unpleasant odor, possibly from the septic system. One highlight was the complimentary minibar, which was replenished daily with water, soft drinks, Chang beer, whisky, vodka, gin, snacks, and even a lovely small dessert in the evening. Getting around can be a bit challenging without your own car or motorbike, especially for elderly guests, as the hotel is located on a hill about 15–20 minutes from the town center. There is a shuttle service to and from Jungceylon Shopping Mall, but it only runs every couple of hours and stops at 9 PM. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options, and I’d definitely recommend booking a rate that includes it. The rooftop bar and restaurant are a standout feature, with stunning panoramic ocean views and a great selection of drinks and cocktails."

"The hotel is beautiful, with stunning views at every turn in the public areas – perfect for photos. The two pools and the beach with sun loungers also offer gorgeous scenery, and you can watch the sunset from the beach. However, the hotel's service team is poorly trained. We first encountered yellow water coming from the tap in our room. We reported it to the front desk the next day, and it was fixed that evening, but on the third day, the problem reappeared even worse. Housekeeping often started very late in the afternoon, which is quite unusual. One day, we had to call the front desk twice to get our room cleaned. Another day, we asked them to come later because we had just returned from swimming and needed to shower, but our room wasn't cleaned at all that day. We also experienced a power outage on our entire floor one day; luckily, it was resolved by the time we returned from dinner. When we checked out, they surprisingly claimed they couldn't find an umbrella. We were there for four days without a single drop of rain, so why would we take their umbrella? The Friday buffet was terrible; the mantis shrimp meat was mushy. The only edible items were the boiled shrimp and mussels, and the dipping sauce was good. Overall, the value for money is extremely low."

"The service was friendly and very helpful for every request. The beds were comfortable and the food (we had breakfast and dinner at the hotel) was very decent. The pool area was dreamy with a great view. Sadly some things made the stay a bit less comfortable: the bathrooms had a sewer smell that wouldn’t go away. The air conditioning temperature in the room was extremely low and didn’t change when we tried to bring it up, as if it was stuck, so at night we were freezing."

"I booked a Dusit Suite, but it wasn't beachfront like the promotional pictures suggested. I imagined being able to see the sea from my room and stepping out directly onto the beach. In reality, it was quite a distance from the sea, tucked away in a grassy area, with my view filled with buildings, trees, and people. This made me feel like I didn't get my money's worth, especially considering it was 6,000 baht a night during Chinese New Year. The room itself was very ordinary. However, the hotel's exterior environment was excellent. The garden design and lawns were beautiful, and there was a private beach with fine sand. The hotel was full of foreigners sunbathing and many families with children, and the kids seemed very happy here. When I called the front desk, they responded quickly. Aside from the room not being worth the price, another downside was that since the hotel isn't in a popular area, we were limited to eating at the hotel, which was very expensive and offered extremely poor value for money. The New Year's Eve dinner, a buffet at 2,800 baht per person, featured grilled sea prawns as the 'finest' ingredient. The texture and freshness of the prawns (which were often undercooked) weren't as good as the à la carte prawns we had ordered at another hotel restaurant the night before. If this price and standard were in China, a buffet costing a third of this price would easily outperform it. I definitely felt ripped off."

"Staying at Panwaburi Beach Resort for our last night in Phuket was truly a wise decision! (Even though it's quite a distance from the airport, you won't regret coming here if you love a pool/jungle vibe + transparent kayaks.) The entire hotel looks exactly as it does on Xiaohongshu (a Chinese social media platform); there's no 'filter disappointment' here. I highly recommend the room with direct pool access 🏊. Stepping right out of your room into the pool is an amazing experience! One morning, I woke up to a cat resting peacefully by my door (and the cat was very respectful of personal space, just chilling quietly) 🐈⬛. Then, I enjoyed putting on makeup and sipping Thai milk tea on the balcony while admiring the hotel's scenery – so relaxing. The pool water was also crystal clear, and even though I can't swim, I had a great time in it. They also have transparent kayaks you can try, which are perfect for photos 📷. Finally, I was in such a rush when checking out that I left my camera in the room. I only realized it when I was unpacking my luggage back home. I contacted the hotel, and they were incredibly patient and kind in helping me retrieve it. All in all, it was a fantastic experience. Highly recommend!"

"I mainly came here to play tennis. Hotel guests get a 10% discount on tennis lessons, but you need to book in advance, otherwise you might not get your preferred coach. There are 4 indoor and 2 outdoor courts, which was very convenient as my child had tennis lessons arranged. The gym looked great, but I didn't get a chance to use it. The pool isn't huge, but it's perfectly adequate for both kids and adults to enjoy. Across the street from the hotel, there's a Michelin-starred Fujian noodle shop. We ate there every day, and the prices were very reasonable. The hotel's location is decent. It's about a 20-minute taxi ride to the shopping mall, but there are no massage places nearby. The closest 'Let's Relax' is almost 2km away, so you'd need a taxi for that. Overall, I think this place is great for sports and fitness, and it's also quite convenient to get around by taxi."

"To be honest, I'm a bit disappointed. I specifically booked a deluxe sea-view room, and they initially gave me a room on the third floor. As soon as I opened the door, I knew something was off. Picture 1 shows what they called a 'sea-view room,' but there was a huge tree right in the middle, blocking the view. I thought, 'Why am I paying a premium price to look at a tree for four nights?' This is clearly a garden-view room. I immediately called the front desk. At first, they didn't want to change my room that day and told me to wait until the next. I explained I was staying for four nights, and after some hesitation, the front desk said they'd move me to the fifth floor. However, Picture 2 shows the room I eventually stayed in. It wasn't directly facing the sea like in the promotional photos; it was quite slanted, and I had to really strain to catch a glimpse of the ocean. It was quite disappointing. The service and everything else were actually good, but paying that price specifically for a sea-view room to get this was just not worth it."

"I had a wonderful stay at Pullman Phuket Arcadia Naithon Beach from March 12–15. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and perfectly located on a peaceful hill overlooking Naithon Beach, giving stunning ocean views and a very relaxing atmosphere. The rooms were spacious, modern, and very clean, with a comfortable bed and a balcony that made it easy to enjoy the view. Housekeeping did a great job every day. The staff were exceptional—friendly, professional, and always willing to help. From check-in to check-out, the service was smooth and welcoming. The breakfast buffet had a great variety, including both international and Thai options, and everything was fresh and well presented. The infinity pools overlooking the ocean were a highlight of the stay and perfect for relaxing. The hotel is also close to Naithon Beach, which is quieter and less crowded than many beaches in Phuket, making it ideal if you want a more peaceful experience. Overall, this was a fantastic stay and I would definitely recommend Pullman Phuket Arcadia to anyone visiting Phuket. I would happily stay here again."
