"Zhenjiang Marriott Stay: A Trip Warmed by ”Eric” My visit to Zhenjiang led me to choose the Marriott, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations, prompting me to write a heartfelt positive review. The hotel's ambiance is undeniably impressive. The lobby is grand, and I believe it might be the tallest building in Zhenjiang. The room was spacious and bright, the bedding comfortable, and the view from the window expansive. Staying there, I felt completely relaxed. While the facilities show some age, the exceptional service truly compensated for it. What truly compelled me to write this review is the service, especially from a front desk staff member named Eric. Before check-in, he proactively contacted me to inquire about my needs and arrival time, making arrangements in advance. He was enthusiastic and efficient. Upon learning it was my first time in Zhenjiang, he proactively upgraded my room – not with a perfunctory ”Let me see what I can do,” but with genuine effort to provide a better arrangement within his capabilities. The upgraded room was quieter, on a higher floor, and offered a fantastic view, making my stay exceptionally comfortable. Throughout my stay, Eric would proactively ask, ”Are you comfortable? Please let me know if you need anything.” This natural yet unobtrusive concern was perfectly balanced. Honestly, many hotel services today are ”standard but impersonal.” Heartfelt and warm service like Eric's truly enhances a trip significantly. I made sure to thank him specifically at check-out. If I return to Zhenjiang, I'll most likely choose this Marriott again – for this level of service alone, it's worth coming back to."

"Very good experience, the location is not far from the night market of Jiangsu University, the room is clean and large, the breakfast is exquisite and complete, the facilities are complete, the swimming pool is amazing, there are small bread and milk for free at night, there is enough mineral water, and condoms are also free, which feels full of sincerity. But it is recommended that condoms should not appear in the room, so as to avoid embarrassing questions from children on parent-child travel. Checked in on 4.4, the receptionist was very enthusiastic and told you all the questions you need to know at one time. Her work enthusiasm made us feel very warm. All other staff members we came into contact with were very professional, dedicated and friendly, especially the lifeguard at the swimming pool took the initiative to give his seat to the mother who was looking after the child. I accidentally flipped through the hotel's corporate culture brochure in the room and understood why this hotel is so outstanding. I am really lucky to have chosen such an excellent hotel and will recommend it to friends who come to Zhenjiang for travel."

"I booked a deluxe river view room, and it was really spacious, directly facing the river with an amazing view. I even captured a stunning sunset from my room! My only minor gripe is that the hotel windows could use a good cleaning, as it slightly detracted from the experience. The housekeeping staff were excellent; they promptly brought extra water and blankets when I requested them twice. I also had dinner at the Chinese restaurant, and the food was delicious. The double set menu offered a great variety, including local specialties like 'Guogai Mian' (Pot Lid Noodles) and 'Yaorou' (Jelly Meat), with generous portions that were more than enough for our family of three. The hotel's location is superb. It's about 3 kilometers from Xijin Ferry, a quick 10 RMB taxi ride away. There's also a convenient bus stop right downstairs. Plus, there's a lovely riverside promenade; Beigu Mountain is only about 800 meters away. It's incredibly convenient for getting around, much better than staying directly in the crowded and noisy tourist areas."

"We stayed with our child, and the front desk staff were incredibly patient and proactively offered to properly store eye drops, catering to our little one's needs, which was very heartwarming. The air conditioning in the room was excellent, the room itself was clean and tidy, and the facilities were well-maintained. The pool wasn't crowded either, so we enjoyed a swim in the afternoon when it was hot, and explored the sights in the mornings and evenings. The hotel's location is superb, with convenient access to transportation around the area. Overall, it offers great value for money, and it was a very reassuring stay for a family trip. We'll definitely choose this hotel again next time we visit Zhenjiang."

"This is hands down the best family-friendly hotel I've stayed at in Zhenjiang. The location is excellent, easy to find, right next to Beigu Mountain, and the Yangtze River is directly across the road. It's perfect for a morning or evening stroll in the summer. The hotel has a gym and a large swimming pool, but they operate on a partnership basis, so many local residents also use them. If you prefer a quiet, private swimming experience, this might not be ideal, or you could try to go during off-peak hours. The self-service laundry room on the 2nd floor is a great feature and very convenient. In the lobby on the 1st floor, there's an interactive gaming screen. I saw many kids playing on it, and we even gave it a try – it was fun! There are also free cold drinks in the lobby fridge, which were a lifesaver for cooling down after coming back from outside. The hotel's 1st-floor restaurant is also fantastic. They offer set meals, so if you're too lazy to go out, you can just eat there. The food is delicious, and I've already reviewed it separately. Of course, there were a few minor points. The beds are a bit lower than standard hotel beds, which is great for kids but might be a little difficult for older people to get up from. The doors in the twin rooms are sliding doors and quite heavy, which took some getting used to. I heard that the king rooms have bathtubs next to the bed, so I might try that next time. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for families with children or fitness enthusiasts."

"Very satisfied. Service: Excellent. Special mention to Ms. Pan Hua and Ms. Yao Ting!! And Mr. Qiao Hongsheng, who helped with the car wash. He was very friendly and proactive in resolving issues. Thank you for your hard work. Cleanliness: Excellent too! I used to think that old hotels might have average cleanliness, but this one was exceptional. The room provided plenty of disposables and small drinks, which was a very thoughtful touch. A future renovation would be even better! Five-star rating! "

"Awesome trip, Treasure B&B. I went to the store to help me upgrade the room for free, which was completely in my aesthetics. The marble decoration is full of texture, like living in a chaebol home. A small ornament in the room is very stylish. Lying on the bed, you can see the sunset of the lake view, the bathtub is oversized, and there is a cloakroom. The bedding is so comfortable that I almost can't get up the next day. What surprised me the most was that the homestay had its own farm, vegetables and fruits picking, fishing and chicken fishing. The ingredients were fresh and the table was super delicious. There are lambs and horses on the mountain, cute to foul, especially suitable for bringing children to play. The surrounding area is also very convenient. Maoshan 5A level scenic area is very close, there are golf courses and Luya bases, two days are not enough to play! Must come next time!"

"The hotel is just opposite the gate of Nanshan Scenic Area and has a beautiful environment. It is said that it was originally a government guesthouse with a swimming pool, a library, and can also host lawn weddings."

"I went to Zhenjiang to watch Xue Zhiqian's concert and chose this hotel closest to the stadium, which exceeded my expectations. The hotel is in a good location, very close to the train station and the stadium, with a good environment. The front desk staff also upgraded my room for free. The room was large, clean and tidy, and they also gave me fruit. The experience was very good."

"The room was a bit small; a family of three was squeezed into a 1.5-meter bed room. However, that's on me for not checking the room specifications when I booked, so I can't blame the hotel. The swimming pool, gym, and restrooms in the annex building were all closed, and I'm not sure why. Those are the minor issues. Now for the positives: The staff were all incredibly warm and friendly. From the front desk receptionists and the lobby manager to the lobby cleaning staff, restaurant servers, convenience store cashier, and housekeeping staff – every single one deserves high praise. With such lovely staff, I'd definitely come back again. The hotel is situated in a park, which provides a fantastic environment. You can also visit the Mao Yisheng Memorial Hall nearby. Finally, the buffet restaurant was excellent. I was worried about not being able to order takeout, but with such great 'Guogai Mian' (pot-lid noodles) available, there's no need for delivery anymore. Next time, I'll pay extra to stay in the main building; the annex is too small."
