This was a good hotel for our trip to Berlin. Its very close to the Potsdamer Platz station which has multiple connections via train and subway. Its one stop earlier than the Berlin Hbf on the train station from the airport. There are some good restaurants nearby including two Indian and Vapiano, an Italian chain - this branch has pizzas. We got a two double bed room. The room was clean, and the facilities felt new. Bed was slightly harder than I prefer, but acceptablle. Pillows had no smell. There was an ice machine on the 4th and 6th floors. Gym was acceptable -- its in the basement and is reached by a separate elevator.

This was a fantastic hotel in a perfect central location. The staff throughout the entire property were attentive, professional, and genuinely dedicated to providing excellent service. The room was incredibly spacious and truly luxurious — I absolutely loved it. Breakfast was high-quality with a great selection, and once again the service was outstanding. I could not have expected more from my stay. Highly recommended!

We stayed for four nights at the Sana Hotel in an apartment. The accommodation was very nice: clean, bright, and comfortable. The only downside was the hotel's wellness area (swimming pool, sauna, and hammam), which was unfortunately very difficult to enjoy. It quickly turns into what feels like a water park because many families come with their children and do not respect the rules. The children run, shout, dive, and jump into the pool, and the parents often do the same. It is impossible to enjoy this area, which is supposed to be peaceful and relaxing. Whether you're in the pool or lying on a sun lounger, you end up getting splashed every time someone jumps into the water. The rules are clearly displayed at the entrance to the wellness area, but there are no hotel staff present to ensure they are respected. The same applies to the rule stating that children are not allowed after 8:00 p.m. Unfortunately, there were children in the wellness area until 11:00 p.m. every evening during our stay. This is a real shame, as the wellness area is of little use if you are looking for peace and relaxation. ****** Wir haben vier Nächte im Sana Hotel in einem Apartment verbracht. Die Unterkunft war sehr gut: sauber, hell und komfortabel. Der einzige negative Punkt war der Wellnessbereich (Schwimmbad, Sauna und Hamam), der leider kaum nutzbar war. Er verwandelt sich schnell in ein regelrechtes Freizeitbad, da viele Familien mit ihren Kindern kommen und sich nicht an die Regeln halten. Die Kinder rennen, schreien, springen und tauchen ständig ins Becken, und auch viele Eltern verhalten sich genauso. Es ist unmöglich, diesen Bereich zu genießen, obwohl er eigentlich der Ruhe und Entspannung dienen soll. Egal, ob man im Wasser ist oder auf einer Liege liegt – bei jedem Sprung ins Becken wird man nass. Die Regeln sind am Eingang des Wellnessbereichs deutlich ausgeschildert, doch es gibt kein Hotelpersonal, das auf deren Einhaltung achtet. Dasselbe gilt für die Regel, dass Kindern der Zutritt nach 20:00 Uhr nicht mehr erlaubt ist. Leider befanden sich während unseres gesamten Aufenthalts jeden Abend bis 23:00 Uhr noch Kinder im Wellnessbereich. Das ist wirklich schade, denn wer Ruhe und Entspannung sucht, kann den Wellnessbereich kaum genießen.

We chose this hotel to escape the summer heat with our baby, expecting the level of service and professionalism that comes with the JW Marriott brand. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing from the moment we arrived. We checked in at around 4 PM and were greeted by a very long queue with only one receptionist serving guests. The wait exceeded an hour, and even after reaching the front desk, the check-in process itself took an unusually long time. The biggest issue came when we were informed that the room we had booked was still occupied because another guest, described as a premium member, had not yet checked out. Regardless of the reason, we had paid for that room and expected it to be available at the guaranteed check-in time. Guests should not have to deal with operational issues that are entirely within the hotel’s control. As a temporary solution, we were placed in another room while waiting for our booked room to become available. We ultimately had to wait around five hours before we could finally move into the room we had reserved. This was especially inconvenient while traveling with a baby and disrupted the first day of our stay. The hotel did offer a late check-out as compensation, but that did little to offset the inconvenience, wasted time, and frustration caused by the situation. The issue should never have happened in the first place, and the recovery fell short of what I would expect from a luxury hotel. Overall, this experience was far below the standards I associate with JW Marriott. I hope the hotel improves both its check-in operations and the way it handles situations where booked rooms are not available as promised.

This stay was fantastic and exceeded my expectations! The room was spotless and very comfortable, with a great layout and an amazingly cozy bed—l felt relaxed the moment I walked in. The staff were warm and professional, and everything from check-in to check-out was smooth and hassle-free. The property is quiet, well-maintained, and feels very welcoming throughout. I'd definitely stay here again and would happily recommend it to friends.

Booked this hotel for a trade show. All the rooms are quite small, but the location is truly excellent. There's a subway station right outside, and the U2 line goes directly to Messe Berlin without any transfers. About 700 meters away, there's a fantastic Chinese restaurant that I ended up eating at every day. The hotel is also in the city center; it's just a 15-minute walk to the Brandenburg Gate and Museum Island. The breakfast restaurant, located under a dome, is beautiful and faces the German Cathedral.

Booked this for my son's 18th birthday trip. We booked two hotels of similar quality in Berlin for the kids so they could have a change of scenery during their stay. When I made the reservation, I mentioned it was their first independent birthday trip. The first hotel gave them complimentary drink and dessert vouchers, but this one didn't offer anything. My son said the hotel was nice and lively, with decent, standard facilities. They even ran into a singer who was performing in Berlin during their stay! On the downside, the swimming pool was very small and didn't really match the hotel's overall standard.

The hotel is very beautiful Location is very good and quiet, beautiful rooms and I love the Spa. We’re regular guests, visited the hotel several times and that’s why we always come back. This time our stay was not as good as always. Our room was not cleaned, I called the Receptionist and requested our room to be cleaned since we needed new Towels for the Spa, nothing happened, I even informed the front Dest while leaving for the room to be cleaned, came back late at night and the room was not cleaned.

The room itself was comfortable and spacious, but the bathroom doors squeaked so loudly they acted as an alarm clock for everyone. We initially booked without breakfast, wanting to decide later. The reception said it wouldn't be an issue. The next morning, we decided to have breakfast, but were turned away because we hadn't provided a credit card. Despite asking the night before, we were not informed that we needed to do so. So, my wife and child waited at the counter while I went back to the room for my Visa card. The payment terminal didn't accept it. I stayed downstairs with the child, and my wife went up to get cash... Then, after finding a table, we were finally allowed to eat for €19 per person (child free). Upon request, the table was cleared of the previous guest's mess and dishes. Even though it was a busy period, which I completely understand, there was no staff visible apart from the access control. The food was good, but the area was extremely untidy. Only after some time did staff appear, the situation calmed down, and things were tidied up and refilled. The pool area was nice, but the communication was contradictory: signs in the room said to take room towels with you, but then there were towels available in the pool area that you were explicitly told not to take back to the room. So, on the first evening, we used the room towels, which I only managed to get exchanged by speaking to the cleaning lady in the hallway the next morning. She herself was impeccable. However, communication and organization left much to be desired. I'm still not clear on how a simple towel exchange is actually supposed to work. I could have ordered an interim cleaning via a QR code. Smoking is only allowed outside the building, and there's exactly one bench where you won't get wet if it rains. I'm still debating whether that's non-smoker-friendly or smoker-unfriendly. A 0.3 L beer from the foyer fridge costs €5, and it seemed to be refilled rather sporadically. All in all: the hotel has its advantages and comfort, but the 4-star rating set expectations that unfortunately weren't really met. The child loved the pool, and that's my personal highlight.
