"Overall, the hotel is good. The staff are incredibly service-minded and very eager to help guests. The view is also nice. My only complaint is that the air conditioning is quite old and barely cools the room. On the first night, after checking in, we slept normally. In the morning, a staff member informed us that we would be upgraded to a riverside room, which made us very happy. However, the air conditioning in that room didn't cool at all. I understand that it's a glass-fronted room and might get hot from direct sunlight, but even with the AC set to 16 degrees, it remained warm. I woke up sweating. I informed the staff, and they were great; they sent a technician immediately to refill the refrigerant. From about 3 PM until almost 7 PM, it still didn't cool down. We had to use the ”powerful cool” function to get about 20 minutes of cold air before it would get hot again. I informed the staff once more, and they sent someone to check right away, but they couldn't fix it. The staff then offered to move us to an even better room, but it was in a building that required walking up stairs. Since we were with an elderly person who couldn't manage the stairs, we decided to stay in the original room. The lovely staff then offered us a fan. If it weren't for that fan, I probably wouldn't have been able to sleep. All of this is to say that the hotel's air conditioning is quite old. Also, the TV remote batteries were dead, and the TV box cable was loose, so I constantly had to go over and jiggle the wire. I'd like to suggest that the owner have technicians/staff thoroughly check everything for guests, as the room rate is over a thousand baht, which is quite high, so these issues shouldn't occur. If I get a chance to visit Chiang Khan again, I would definitely consider staying here again. ❤️"

"This is a pleasant place to stay overall, but considering the price it charges, they really need to upgrade their service and amenities. The property itself is nice in terms of location and vibe, but it's not very well-maintained that you wouldn't expect at this price point. It also lacks basic 4-star amenities; for instance, there's no regular restaurant service where you can just walk in and order a meal for lunch or dinner, the food is tasty, no doubt, but you have to plan your meals in advance rather than enjoying the convenience of an on-demand dining experience. Round-the-clock service is simply not available since the staff clocks off by around 9:30 or 10:00 PM, making it function more like an Airbnb than a proper hotel. Another major issue is the telecom network—there is literally no phone reception in the area, and you might end up picking up a Laos network instead, which is quite frustrating; thankfully, the property has good WiFi, so you can easily stay connected to the world through that. That said, the staff themselves are wonderful, very polite, pleasant, and genuinely helpful with most things, which does make the stay more comfortable. That really covered for everything during my stay. However, there's also no proper power backup in case of outages, which is concerning for a property at this rate. So yes, it's a decent place if you go in with the right expectations and don't mind limited service hours and network issues."

"The hotel is right across from the Mekong River and about a 5-minute drive from the night market. The water pressure in the hotel rooms was excellent, although the drain was a bit clogged. The air conditioning seemed to be on but not working properly; you'd need to ask the hotel for a fan. Each room has a terrace, which is perfect for smokers, as indoor smoking is prohibited in Thailand. The hotel pool is beautiful and great for taking photos. The breakfast selection wasn't extensive, but it was delicious, and there were two photo spots at the breakfast area, along with a very cute cat that responds when you talk to it 🥰. The hotel has parking for drivers, and the parking lot has many mango trees 😆"
