We are visiting Alishan, Sun-moon lake so make a stop at Taichung and we find this is a nice hotel and nice room and facilities are well equipt , we like hotel breadfast at the cafe which supply a bit variety of Asian food + American food too. It's a pity we only for a night , next trip I will plan to come back here for few days stay to explore Taitung.

Everything was great except when it was cold at 7 degrees. I tried to take a hot bath in the tub and the hot water turned cold after few minutes and there was no more hot water after that. The next morning the heated pool was also not warm enough. I was told by the pool guard the that the heating system for the rooms was out of order the night before but only the rooms were affected. Rooms are spacious. Would be great if hotel can provide shuttle service to town, night markets, places of interest or major hot spots on demand.

Would like to highlight an issue we encountered with regards to our deposit and certain charges that were made to us but which we had not incurred. When we were checking out, we asked to have a look at our statement of charges as we understood that any additional charges would be offset by the deposit placed with the hotel. We had dinner at ”The Prime -Grill and Lounge” on one of the nights and just wanted to check if the charges were right. The statement showed 3 separate bills that were not incurred by us and were all purchases of alcohol, which we found strange. When we brought this up with the front desk, the staff did not seem surprised at all with the error or sought to verify the same anywhere nor were we given any apology for the mistake. It was as though she already knew that those 3 charges were unanauthorised transactions and said that the hotel would rectify the issue with the bank in respect of our deposit. The front desk was also very adamant to not let us speak to her manager about the issue. We just wanted to highlight the above because we would usually just trust the hotel to refund the right amount of deposit without checking, especially when using credit card to pay the same. But it may be worth checking when it comes to this hotel as based on the reaction which we got from the front desk, it seems that such mistakes whether intentional or not have happened before. We also hope that the hotel would do some sort of investigation into how issues like this could happen.

One of my favourite hotel!! Breakfast is very nice with a lot of options to choose. Love that there is TV in the toilet. The room is spacious for 4 adults. The downside is that the hotel is in the middle of the road. So it is a bit hard to cross the road if there is a lot of car driving pass.

Was given a bigger room but it has a funky smell. Requested to change a room but they denied until I had to give them a 2nd call right after they hang up. They asked someone to come over to check and upon acknowledging the weird smell in the toilet, they say just let the smell go away on it's own with freshener. I had to reject the housekeeper TWICE before they let me change another room which is much better. No smell and cleaner. They should've given this room from the start. Service is terrible but the location is just beside Fengjia Night Market which is a plus point. There is a bus stop just below the hotel that goes to Ruyi to get some snacks shopping done. Breakfast quality is bad but sufficient. No high expectation on the breakfast.

Was thinking at this price level i need to lower my expectations, but the location (right smack in the fengjia night market), cleanliness and service levels were impeccable. I like my room alot, its not big but it is just the right size for a single person traveling. The floor/toilets/bed were squeaky clean. I have no complaints,definitely 5 stars!

It is within walking distance from Fengjia Night Market, there are convenience stores and supermarkets around, and it is convenient and the price is not expensive. We booked 2 twin rooms for 4 adults and arranged them next to each other, but 1 of the 2 rooms was very dark. It may have been due to the shape of the room, but it was so dark that I wondered if the lights were out somewhere. Since it was only one night, I didn't think it would be necessary to change the room, but it wasn't very comfortable. Breakfast has a good variety and the taste is average. Overall, it's not bad, but there are many reasonable hotels in Taichung, so if I go again, I'm not sure if I'll stay there.

The hotel is small and ingenious. It has everything it should have. Just like the name of the hotel, the price is affordable and clean. The parking lot is inconvenient because it is mechanical and needs to be lifted to the basement. I booked a double room but provided 2 double beds. There is a sign on the double bed saying that it cannot be used because it is booked as a double room. If you use it, you will be charged. Although this is true, it is not very good that part of the space in the booked room cannot be used!

Really love this location and will definitely visit again. Also, recommend to upgrade your room if possible. It really makes a difference.

Check in on 12/1 Check out on 12/2 I booked the room first and then saw the reviews. To be honest, I was really worried at first and had the idea of ​​canceling the reservation or not going there. There was a slight smell of smoke when I first entered the room. I don't smoke, but I can accept the slight smell of smoke! After all, it is not a hotel level and it is impossible to strictly require the neighbors next door to abide by the rules🥲 The bed, pillows, floor, and even the toilet and sink in the room are really clean. I saw a message saying that the window grooves were full of cigarette butts (I paid special attention to them🤣🤣There just weren’t any! I don’t know if I’m just too lucky or if the hotel is really improving! But to be honest, I am satisfied with the CP value for a double room that is less than 1,000 yuan! ! ps. But I took the initiative to contact the hotel from booking to checking out. Hahahaha, they really won’t contact me even after a phone call or a message. You have to be proactive when booking a room by yourself😅😅 The above small comments are shared with you who don’t have a high accommodation budget but don’t want to step on the wrong side! 🖤😏
