They have an onsite restaurant with indoor \ outdoor eating available, also open 18 hours a day!! We would happily book and stay here again anytime in the future.

The guy at the reception spoke zero english, but he was friendly and helpful nevertheless...nearby on the corner to the main road a 7-eleven, and some food stalls as well...

And then waited a long time Finding information in a big scale, it took 20 minutes to get a room (2nd floor, room 212). 🔒 Go up to the room The key card can't open the room!! Back down again Staff changed a new room (room 210). ⚠️ Enter the room, the first touch is the musty smell, even if it looks new. ✔️ There is a small refrigerator to soak 2 bottles of water, cool air conditioner is good, TV can watch normal, shower spread water well Warm water is fast, good use. ❗️ The mattress is quite hard. Moving a little, there is always an exclamation sound. ❌️ But the most unacceptable thing is the toilet toilet. Sit and shake like not strong. and whether it's heavy and lightly shooting Press the toilet water is flowing out of the toilet base. which does not have a chemical mortar!! ❌️ Swimming pool, no water!! Because it is renovating But sold the room without notice clearly Lose the feeling here as well Because my daughter intends to go to play in the water Therefore find to reserve a hotel with a swimming pool ☑️ breakfast is not available,this one is understandable at this price But have to be surprised to wake up early Because there are many porters carrying a wheelchair in the cups The sound of hitting the cups and plates echoed from the ground floor. No space to sit if lounges (5 only) were taken. Includes breakfast which was good. Mostly Asian style. Plenty of fruit. Eggs cooked to order if required. Good coffee. Didn’t eat in restaurant except for breakfast. Staff very friendly and helpful but with very little English. Translation App on phone a lifesaver.

My partner and I stayed here for a week to visit her family, who she hadn't seen for about three years, thanks to the COVID-19 Pandemic. We found the place ideally located, close to the Night Markets in Central Surin City. We also had a hire car, so albeit small, the car park came in particularly useful for us. The style of the hotel is completely unique and a bit of an experience; it feels ”industrial”, yet ”natural”, with the concrete floors and jungle-like garden. This, however, makes the hotel no less comfortable, though and I was pleasantly surprised with the facilities and bedding, in particular. The first night we were there, the hotel did not have WiFi (which is included in the nightly rate), I was not really able to ascertain why, but the next day it was working, which enabled us to use the TV for Netflix. Breakfast is included in the great-value rate (this may have been an Agoda special; I'm not really sure), and although simple, it does the job. I don't believe there was any dinner, as we ordered Grab Food for dinner most nights, which is still good value. Nonethless, basis our experience on this occasion, we'll definitely be returning to The Wood next time we are in Surin!
