Abbiamo selezionato questo Hotel tra quelli presenti nel pacchetto di Mirabilandia di 2 notti. Non appena ho prenotato li ho chiamati per sapere se avessero una spondina da inserire nel letto matrimoniale in quanto nostra figlia di 3 anni dorme con noi. In caso contrario mi sono reso disponibile a portarmela io da casa. Mi hanno riferito che avrebbero verificato e fatto sapere. Li ho richiamati io dopo una settimana e mi hanno risposto che ancora non avevano controllato, dopo mezz'ora un ragazzo gentile mi ha finalmente confermato che la avevano. Arriviamo la sera del giorno di check-in dopo essere stai al parco, ci accoglie una signorina molto gentile che ci dice comunque che ormai per quella notte non potevano richiamare il personale delle camere e quindi per la prima notte niente spondina (?). La mattina dopo gli ricordo di farcela trovare in camera e mi assicurano che non ci saranno problemi. La sera al nostro rientro, sempre la signorina mi dice che la dovrebbero aver già inserita e se non dovesse esserci, di richiamare in reception che avrebbero provveduto. Niente di tutto questo! Chiamo il ricevimento, non risponde nessuno, scendo e mi dice che al nostro rientro dopo cena la avremmo trovata in camera. Rientriamo e niente ancora. Il portiere di notte ci dice di attendere 10 minuti che ce l'avrebbero portata in camera (ore 23.10), a mezzanotte chiamo... ”si mi scusi ma abbiamo un problema da risolvere prima”...a quel punto mi sono davvero innervosito e riepilogato quando scritto anche in questa recensione. Ho risolto diversamente accostando il terzo letto alla parte della bimba e non gli ho aperto perchè SOLO DOPO ESSERMI ARRABBIATO AL TELEFONO, in 10 minuti sono arrivati con la benedetta spondina!!! Assurdo che per una cosa così stupida, il ricordo della vacanza sia rovinata dal menefreghismo /incompetenza/mancanza di comunicazioni tra personale. Per il resto mi associo a chi ha scritto che il bagno (soprattutto la doccia) è da rifare e pulire meglio. Ristorante ok. Non torneremo più.

Lack of sunshine around the pool We stayed (3xAdult, 1xTeen) for four nights whilst attending a sporting event nearby. On entering the hotel, it looked pleasant. On entering our room however, we got old damp kind of smell. The fridge did not function and we reported it on several occasions and it was never fixed. We did have an issue with the plug in the bathroom sink, which they rectified by removing the plug entirely. Housekeeping staff did a great job in the limited conditions. The room is very narrow, there is luggage table behind the door, meaning you cannot open it fully, and the bathroom is old, dated, and prone to leeks. However, shower pressure is good. We were told halfway through our stay the hotel is under new management. This is bringing a full refurbishment over the coming months and so explains why we were awoken before 8am one morning to the sound of hammering and banging. Would we stay again, probably not. There are so many alternatives in the area with similarly great locations, but with better facilities, for similar prices.

Iconic Rimini hotel. We loved the historic exterior and public areas, especially the Fellini lounge. The gardens are beautiful and the pool area was relaxing, if rather small given the size of the hotel. Breakfast was excellent. On the negative side, the bedroom had a period charm but the furniture was old and not in an antique way. There was also a lot of ambient noise from the fridge which we disconnected at night and the AC, which we never managed to shut down. The bathroom in particular could do with a serious refurb. The spa looked good but we weren't going to pay Eur 80 per person just to use the sauna and sit by the indoor pool. There is a private beach but charging up to Eur 95 for loungers is a steep extra - that said, the room rate was reasonable. Service was polite but not exceptional. On the whole, we enjoyed the hotel but it is teetering on the edge of looking tired, some major investment will be necessary sooner rather than later.

We stayed in this hotel in two occasions. We were really fascinated by it because it includes so many positives, from the excellent location to visit the entertainment parks of the region, to clean and spacious rooms, to the excellent kitchen, to parking and to the price, The hotel is very good for the quality of the living, but most of all, as we have never felt here, we were welcome and even cocktailed. The reading ”as at home” always made me smile, but here really for us is like being with family people, patient with our children and always pointful and careful. The hotel is well located with enough parking and good accessibility. Surprisingly for this chain, there was actually friendly staff available for checkin, not only the usual checkin-machines. For tours to the city, you can rent bikes at moderate 5 EUR per day. About half of the bikes look in reasonably good condition. So that was very good. The lobby has many self-service food and drink offerings, so that you can get by without going to stores. Else, just across the highway bridge is a big shopping mall. The rooms are spacious and the bed is according to our preferences. The critical downside: We had two rooms - and both had issues: One the AC was leaking, even with the AC off. The other the bathroom floor was very wet - it seemed the water was leaking from the wall or the toilet. When announced to the reception, they offered to clean up. But no repair was done or room changed. So the problem repeated the next day. During the day, the cleaning staff is super noisy, as if they would be trying to break through the wall with the vacuum-cleaner. And at night, the guests attracted to this hotel seam to bear all decency having lively and lengthy discussions on the hall ways (we are talking about 11p to 1 am, and not just one party being the issue), and continuing in the rooms with slamming doors every few minutes, puking and laughing. So while this hotel could be very nice, it fails the criteria of being a place where you actually can sleep and relax for the next days tour. Therefore, I wouldn‘t recommend staying here, nor do I think I‘d return again.
