"Borgobeltrani is a beautiful boutique hotel and everything other reviewers say echo my feelings on the hotel, but for me there was one outstanding feature that I have never found at any other hotel and I've stayed in about eighty of them over the years.. We arrived by car and as there was a queue of cars behind us I did not unload the luggage, but drove around to the free carpark in the square, about a hundred yards away and walked back to the hotel. As I required secure parking for the car Francesca said she would come and show me where to find it. After giving me the directions Francesca insisted I go and park the car and she would take care of the luggage, obviously I declined, but she was insistent, and so against my better judgement I agreed. Arriving back at the hotel I found Francesca had not only carried my two carry on bags and a heavy suitcase to the hotel, but had even delivered them to the room. What can I say? Francesca, you're a superstar!!!"

"We stumbled across this magnificent place — Ascosa Relais sul Mare — while exploring Puglia, and what an incredible discovery it turned out to be! We were simply looking for somewhere to have a drink, but instead we found one of the most memorable experiences of our trip. Even though the bar was officially closed, the Direttore, Emanuele Bassi, went above and beyond — he personally opened it up for us so we could sample some of their local offerings. And my goodness, did we sample well! Emanuele introduced us to a stunning local red wine called Susumaniello, produced right here in Puglia. What a revelation — a bold, full-bodied red that glides over your tongue and down your throat like liquid velvet. Absolutely divine! If you find yourself anywhere near this region, do yourself a favour and pop in to see Emanuele. His warmth, passion, and hospitality embody everything that makes Puglia so special. And whatever you do, don’t leave without tasting that amazing wine! Five stars all around — an unforgettable experience!"

"The B&B is just a 5-minute walk from the harbor. The room and bathroom were new and stylishly furnished. The bed was very comfortable. The air conditioning was unfortunately quite loud. The bathroom had a shower cubicle with a built-in hammam. It was very well equipped, including a coffee machine and plenty of glasses and other utensils. Everything was super clean. A very modest breakfast was served at a café a few meters down the street. The croissant was delicious, though. Parking was easy on the street nearby. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful."

"This place evoked many positive emotions, thanks to the town of Trani itself, its perfect location, and the place itself. You feel surrounded by history everywhere, yet it’s nicely equipped. We stayed twice in different rooms, and both were wonderful. You can feel Italy in every corner of the residence. Just amazing!"

"This is our second stay at Maria Pia’s stunning apartments.Firstly the location is just perfect around 5 minutes walk from the train station and about the same to the beautiful old town and harbour. Both apartments are extremely spacious and furnished to the highest spec!We have just spent the last four nights here and can’t wait to return. Our hostess is so very friendly and very accommodating, nothing is too much trouble. We have stayed in many great places in Italy but without doubt this is our favourite. Highly Recommend"

"We had a nice lunch, good restaurant, directly on Trani’s harbour, all the plates were really tasty. Staff very kind and good selection of plates and wines. They also have options for different needs, We really enjoyed our meal. Price was average, food price balance adequate."
