And yes, I'm venting because the hotel chain Hotel B&B HOTEL Cergy Saint Christophe treated me miserably. I was assigned to a project in Paris, and I was traveling from Berlin. My flight was arriving at 23:30. I had made my reservation through Booking.com and tried to pay with the digital debit card assigned by my company, Hotel B&B informs me that I don't need to pay in advance that I will pay at the hotel. Then, by messaging them I told them that my card is a digital debit card, and I ask if that would be a problem on my arrival. No one ever responded and I decide to travel. Then, I find myself two days later, at 0:40 in an industrial zone at -5°C with a thermal sensation of -8°C, the taxi drops me off and I realize that there is nothing around the hotel. There began all my tragedy, there was no reception or staff, only an automatic machine which asked me to pay everything with a physical credit card. Right next to the machine is an emergency button to call the hotel staff, I called by pressing the button, and I was answered by the most ruthless person in the world. Grossly he said ”I can't do anything for you, credit card or nothing”, I insisted explaining, grossly he said - ”Don't you understand? I insisted explaining, he rudely said ”-Don't you understand, credit card or nothing, otherwise you must leave, because I can't open the door for you”. I panicked when I tried to ask for an Uber back to the center of Paris and realized that no Uber would come because the area is so remote. I called again and begged him to at least let me go to the reception that I was freezing to death, that when I found a taxi I would go. Indifferent he said ”it's not my problem, I can't talk to you anymore because I have to talk to other callers”. After calming down myself and, after 45 minutes in the bitter cold, I tried the machine again with my personal debit card and was approved for one night only. So I managed to get into my room. The next day, I cancelled my entire reservation for the next days at the reception and I checked out of that hotel. Well, the last straw, 3 days after I checked out my email and the hotel charged my stay for 7 days to the digital card of my company... The worst manager of a hotel attended me, and promised to give me my money back. He does not do it in the time he promised and I went back to the hotel directly to solve this problem. The manager didn't even say good morning, and yelled at me ”what the hell are you doing here?, I told you I was going to solve it... Then we argued, I kept calm, he gave me a refund invoice, and told me it's not the hotel's fault that you arrive at night. It was all your fault, here is your bill. Au revoir!!! How can you Hotel B&B hire such persons to work in hospitality? and how can you Hotel B&B let them abuse and humiliate your customers?

L hôtel est extrêmement bruyant. Les chambres sont bruyantes, on entend tout ce qui se passe chez les voisins. De plus l hôtel est organisé autour d un immense hall sur plusieurs étages. Dans ce hall se passe le petit déjeuner. Et chose sympathique, celui qui prépare le petit déjeuner met de la musique à 6h45 dans ce hall, faisant profiter toutes les chambres de la musique. Sympa pour un dimanche. La conception des chambres subit ce même problème de bruit. Une partie centrale qui fait office de sanitaires/cuisine qui se ferme avec des portes coulissantes sans aucune isolation. Impossible de prendre une douche ou d aller aux toilettes sans réveiller tout le monde. De plus chambre donne sur ce hall avec une fenêtre fixe seulement protégé par un store vénitien en état très moyen donc lumière et manque d intimité. La seule chose qui sauve l hôtel c est le petit déjeuner , il est bien sans plus mais complet…au final nous avons peu dormi et d un sommeil assez perturbé surtout qu il faisait très chaud dans les chambres.

We are very disgusting and horrible for anyone with a ”normal” hygiene when we leave, we ask for the refund that the receptionist made us without even asking questions so much she has the habit. 1 out of 4 clients arrive ... and go back immediately.

I booked two nights away from the city to travel by taxi with my parents. It was a really neatly remodeled hotel. Although it's really small, it was convenient because of the elevator. The neighborhood where the hotel is located was clean and safe, so I relaxed at night in the morning. The bakery and supermarket are all within 100 meters, so I can eat all the fruits, bread and everything I need. Taxi was also coming soon after calling the app out of the room, so I went around comfortably. There was a subway station about 200 meters away, so public transportation was convenient. It is recommended. I think I'll book again.

The one thing they don’t tell you about this hotel is that the Westfield Shopping Centre next door is having some major building works carried out and the whole of the B&B Hotel is affected, day after day. At night it was quiet but work started at about 8 in the morning and continued all day. The whole building shook and wherever you stood it sounded as if a massive tunnelling machine was about to come through the walls. It was almost impossible to speak to one another over the din. We booked through ******* and what amazes me is that they are still including it in their listing even after we told them about the horrendous noise. We felt sorry for the staff at the hotel because they had put up with the noise and the complaints every day. They were very understanding when we said we could not take it. We returned for a siesta in the afternoon and decided that we could not tolerate the noise so we checked out and booked into an Airbnb apartment which was delightful. The hotel room itself was far from perfect with broken lampshades by the bed. This is very basic accommodation. The hotel refunded us for one night out of three. ******* take no responsibility whatsoever. If you are planning on visiting Versailles then you should know that this hotel is NOT walking distance from the Palace and its Gardens. It’s an expensive UBER ride away.

Very clean, modern, comfortable and appealing hotel. The rooms are beautiful and the service is great. You have there everything you need including a fridge and a small cooking corner. There is a nice gym and it is a stone throw from the tram station (T13). The place is very reasonably priced too. Walking to the center of town is around 10 minutes, but you have everything next to the hotel if you wish. There breakfast is nice but a bit pricy. Go to the boulangerie and have a great cake or sandwich. We loved the place.
