"Με τις ομάδες του ναμίμπια, τα δωμάτια είναι μεγάλα, τα κρεβάτια είναι πολύ ωραία, τα δωμάτια σε ένα μεγάλο κτίριο (με μεγάλο κρεβάτι) είναι πιο κοντά στο εστιατόριο και είναι πιο νέα από εκείνα που είναι πιο μακρυά σε σπίτια, σε ένα λόφο. Αλλά υπάρχει μια θέα σαβάνα, είναι πολύ ωραία εκεί, ειδικά μετά τη βροχή, η κατάλληλη τιμή για το δωμάτιο, η μυρωδιά του δωματίου, αλλά το δωμάτιο έχει αλλάξει."

"This is a gorgeous lodge and the best staff from top to bottom! There has been much thought in the making of this beautiful place. From our welcome at reception by Hilga and Ashley to the grounds and wildlife that are cared for by Sau, Joseph and many others I’m sure. The lodge is just a unique setting with great chalets that were clean and comfortable thanks to Elly and Salom. Now the meals and dining plus bar area look out onto the property so that was quite enjoyable as were the evening fire pit under the stars. The meals prepared by Chefs Victoria and Frances were top notch delicious and the warm and wonderful service by Monika and Paulus was second to none. We stayed 3 nights and enjoyed every minute. Thanks to everyone who made our stay memorable and thank you Christine (the owner) who had such a wonderful vision in making this lodge and the work she does at her lodge and in the area of Tsumeb."

Ghaub Nature Reserve & Farm - One Namibia ★★★★

"Μείναμε εδώ 2 νύχτες κυρίως για να διακόψουμε το ταξίδι μας από την ανατολική περιοχή του Καβάνγκο στο Γουίντοκ και να περπατήσουμε με τα λευκά τους ρινικά. " κύρια κτιριακή χρονιά χρονολογείται από το 1895 και τα πράσινα γρασίδι και τα βασιλικά παλτά περικλείονται από ένα χαμηλό πέτρινο τοίχο. Με τη θέση του στα βουνά της Οτάβι, το Ghaub είναι ειρηνικό και μακριά από όλα με απίστευτες δύτες, δύση και νυχτερινό ουρανό. Είχαμε 2 μεγάλα δωμάτια με βεράντα – ευρύχωρο και άνετο. Ο μάγειρας έκανε μερικά καλά επιδόρπια. Ο οδηγός πρότεινε να τους πάει και στους άλλους ρινούς περίπου 12 χλμ. μακριά, αλλά η ομάδα αρνήθηκε επειδή ήταν ζεστό. Είχα σχεδιάσει να περπατήσω, αλλά είχα ένα νευρικό στομάχι από χάπια της ελονοσίας και επέλεξε το μεσημέρι να οδηγήσει. Η βλάστηση ήταν ένα μείγμα δαμάσκηνων και μετά άνοιξε σε μια γρασίδι όπου είδαμε το σπρινγκμπόκ, τις κόκκινες αρτεμπούκες, τις ζέβρες, το δαμάσκηνο και ένα ντικντίκ, για να μην αναφέρω μια ομάδα ρινών. Ο οδηγός μας είπε ότι θα μπορούσαμε να βγούμε έξω και να τους πλησιάσουμε, να τους κρατήσουμε μακριά, καθώς είναι συνηθισμένοι στους ανθρώπους και θα μας έβγαιναν. Οι διάφορες ομάδες των ρινών προστατεύονται από την Ώρα της Έναης Ναμίμπια (προστατεύουν επίσης τους ρινούς στο Γουότερμπεργκ). Δεν υπάρχει τίποτα σαν να βλέπεις ένα ρινικό στη φύση για να το εκτιμάς πραγματικά, ειδικά τα πιο ελαφρά λευκά ρινικά. Ο οδηγός μας μας οδήγησε πέρα από το αποθεματικό για να δούμε και τους άλλους ρινούς και για άλλη μια φορά, μπορέσαμε να αφήσουμε το όχημα και να τους προσεγγίσουμε με τα πόδια. Μπορούμε να συστήσουμε ιδιαίτερα αυτή τη συνάντηση και να εκτιμήσουμε ότι τα έσοδα από αυτές τις περιπολίες θα χρησιμοποιηθούν για να στηρίξουν την περιπολία του ρινού."
