Truly a 5 star deluxe resort, and of the same league as One & Only Reethi Rah, while being better in many respects. The accommodation is beautifully designed and very functional (think gessi taps / control4) and the island itself, while small, is wonderfully situated, with clear views, beautiful beaches and some good snorkelling spots. The food is excellent across the board, and the spa is also fantastic. What really stands out however is the service; on certain days the hotel was fully occupied but the service was consistently seamless, intuitive and more than anything, highly personal. Nothing is too much trouble, and the way in which needs are anticipated and communicated among staff is truly exceptional. There is also a genuine warmth and friendliness which shines through. Particular thanks to Adam our Jadugar for his tireless efforts to make our stay so enjoyable, and to Hana at the kids club, with her abundance of good heart, humour and sense that instantly makes parents and children alike feel at ease. We chose Emerald Faarufushi Resort as the destination for our honeymoon, and it turned out to be an absolute dream come true. Our 4-night stay at the Beach Villa with Pool, coupled with the exceptional service of every staffs, as well as our wonderful host, Kunal, made our honeymoon an experience beyond compare. As we stepped onto the pristine shores of the resort, we were instantly captivated by the ethereal beauty of our Villa. The villa, adorned with luxurious amenities, seamlessly combined modern comforts with the natural allure of the Maldives. The private pool, surrounded by lush greenery and mere steps away from the sparkling ocean, offered us moments of intimacy and tranquility. Throughout our stay, Kunal, our gracious host, deserves special commendation for making our stay truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, he greeted us with a warm smile and a genuine enthusiasm that instantly made us feel at home. Kunal's attention to detail was impeccable, and he went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our honeymoon was flawless. Kunal made us feel like royalty, and we are immensely grateful for his genuine and personalized service. The Resort also offers a plethora of activities and excursions, and we took full advantage of the water sports and snorkeling opportunities to explore the breathtaking coral reefs and encounter exotic marine species. Each adventure was expertly organized by the resort, ensuring our safety and enjoyment at all times. The culinary experiences at Emerald Faarufushi Resort were simply sensational. The resort's restaurants and bars offered a diverse range of delectable dishes, each prepared with the finest ingredients and presented with artistic flair. Beyond the exquisite dining experiences, the resort's attention to sustainability and environmental conservation added an extra layer of significance to our stay. Overall, this is heaven of heavens that I cannot recommend enough.

The island is relatively small and has 5 restaurants, one of which requires a fee. I live in a floating house, but there are not many fish😭 The hotel provides free snorkeling tools for snorkeling on the beach. There are big fish and small fish, and if you are lucky, you can see turtles❣️

It was an amazing vacation! More than a month has passed, but bright and warm memories still keep me warm. Check in was quick and with a big surprise! Instead of a beach villa I was offered a water villa. At first I doubted, but then I was very grateful for such a gift. If your goal is privacy, then a water villa is what you need. Main advantages: 1. You will really have privacy. 2. The sun terrace with their own private space to relax with direct access to the lagoon. Two steps and the whole water world is under your feet. 3. Free access to a la carte restaurants (Dinner in an Italian restaurant right on the sand by torchlight with prosecco and tiramisu. It's a delight!). And so it is possible to enumerate ad infinitum. The island is very beautiful and full of green and flowers. When you walk along the beach or along the paths, you get the feeling that you are in two parallel worlds. The staff is very friendly and welcoming and ready to help you with any questions. If you are relaxing alone, believe me, you will not be bored😊. If someone thinks that the Maldives is just a beach and snorkeling, then he or she is greatly mistaken. The recreation program is so varied that you can dance incendiary at the party, and watch the national Maldivian dances and spend a wonderful evening in the bar enjoying live music. And finally, my vacation would not have been so complete if I had not taken the risk of going to private yoga classes. This is worth it! For a person inexperienced with yoga and meditative practices, this was a revelation! In just a couple of classes, thanks to Aditi, you begin to feel your body and your mind is filled with calmness and clarity. I highly recommend individual classes to everyone, especially when they take place on the sea edge with a sunset view😊 Thanks to all management of the hotel for the high level of service and the feeling that the guest is the most important here!

Just returned from a 5 night stay at JB. Went there as one of our destinations for our 25th anniversary. Overall rating: 9/10   JB is an extremely beautiful place. Ultraluxury accommodation in a paradisiac environment. Architecture is stunning and fully integrated with local nature. Gardening is manicured, but at the same time respectful with endemic species. Decoration of common and private spaces is extremely tasteful, ample spaces everywhere that seem to have been designed with attention to every single detail.   Service is top-notch. From the people that deal directly with guests, to the large team in charge of keeping everything tidy. After an overnight trip from London, we were welcomed at the hotel lobby/port/marine airport, a stunning architectural design, by the hotel manager and several members of the team.   We were introduced to Razan, who was going to be our butler for the stay. Razan conducted himself with the right mix of professionalism and warming attitude. As with the rest of the operation, he was always on top of details, making sure we were happy and comfortable. Perfect butler that make our stay pleasant.   Service at common areas was again at an extremely high level. Beach and swiming-pool are very well attended. Bars and lunch area also very well served. Dinner service also really good. Reception at the restaurants was handled very professionally by several young woman, always with a welcoming smile. Waiters also super attentive at all times, to bring you anything you needed with a great attitude. Henry, in charge of this service team, came every single day to say hello and to spend a few minutes chatting with us and make sure everything was going well.   Food is at very high standard. Light salads nicely presented and tasteful. Meat and fish very well cooked. Menu is a mix of international cuisine with presence of Asian flavours and some local touch. JC, in charge of directing all cooking, also came to introduce himself and offered his help if we needed anything special. They do a very good job at the kitchens.   In terms of facilities, the overall theme of this resort is wellness, so as you can expect, SPA and GYM areas were at a super-high level. The SPA is one of the most gorgeous we have ever seen, a dream for instagramers, with a number of treatments to your taste. The Gym is absolutely first class, also in a large beautiful building, with several professionals and complimentary physical activities. Service in these facilities, again super pleasing and helpful.   At this ultra-luxury level of facilities and service, complaining of anything does not seem right, but let us address some areas to improve. ”Flow” is the name of the main restaurant, that is used both for breakfast and dinner; the transition of ambiances from day to night is very well thought-out, it feels like two different places, equally gorgeous. ”Mojo” is the alternative restaurant, that is next to the swimming pool, used for lunch, as all day bar, an
