Δεν μπορούσα να κάνω check-in γιατί το διαβατήριό μου είχε λήξει 2 μήνες. Το ανανέωσα ήδη αλλά δεν είναι ακόμα έτοιμο για παραλαβή. Μπορώ να ανανεώσω το padron μου στην Ισπανία, μπορώ να ταξιδέψω με τρένο, μπορώ να μείνω σε άλλα ξενοδοχεία.. απλώς όχι εδώ. Και επειδή αυτό συνέβη την ημέρα της διαμονής μου, δεν μπορούσα να λάβω επιστροφή χρημάτων. Ζήτησα να χρησιμοποιήσω την τουαλέτα και ο Τζόναθαν, ο τύπος στη ρεσεψιόν, με συνόδευσε στην καφετέρια, ισχυριζόμενος ότι έπρεπε να ψάξει για κάτι εκεί πάνω, όταν σαφώς απλώς φρόντιζε να μην πήγαινα στο δωμάτιο, καθώς ζήτησε να μου μιλήσει όταν βγήκα από την τουαλέτα. Απίστευτα ασεβής και παρεμβατικός. Πραγματικά ένιωσα διακρίσεις και παρενόχληση για κάτι για το οποίο είχα πληρώσει. Ζητώ συγγνώμη που σε φώναξα, Τζόναθαν, και καταλαβαίνω ότι κάνεις τη δουλειά σου, αλλά ζήτησα να μιλήσω με τον διευθυντή σου και δεν τον/την πήρες τηλέφωνο και είμαι σίγουρος ότι η δουλειά σου δεν είναι να κάνεις οι άνθρωποι νιώθουν τόσο άσχημα όσο κι εγώ. Σας ευχαριστώ για την υπέροχη εμπειρία. Με εκτιμιση, Ένας σχεδόν καλεσμένος με αρκετό τραύμα λόγω απαρχαιωμένων πολιτικών και γραφειοκρατίας.

El hotel está correcto, la ubicación es excelente, pero me esperaba algo más para un cuatro estrellas.

We have asked for a free upgrade from a standard suite to Grand suite for our first time staying in Valencia by email before arrival. They said by email its 120€ additional; which we did not confirm or accept either by writing or verbally that we would pay 120€. At our arrival, the receptionist said the upgrade was accepted for free and gave us a paper with our total amount that we have paid. (On the paper it is even written Suite and not Grand Suite). At our check out, Jonathan the receptionist, said you still have to pay 120€; and we were surprised about that; we have explained him the situation, he did not want to understand a word of it, he was Impolite, agressive, and not professional at all. He even said that we are liars. We have tried to ask for a Manager or a director he said no one is here, i cannot help you, just pay the 120€… That was very rude. He said fill a complaint form and we will study your case and see if we can reimburse you. Once we have paid the 120€ and filled the form he said now you have go to an office in Valencia that is a governmental office (which is closed on Saturday, and open only on Monday, while we travel on Saturday) to put your complaint. Thats was a lie, because initially he said that the Hotel offices will study the case. We are expecting now that the hotel Director will read that message and will call me directly so we can chat about that matter. We really expect a total reimbursement of the additional amount. To bad to stay on that reputation. Depending on the final decision of the hotel i will rate the Hotel and the whole facility. We are very sad to end our stay with a very bad experience in Valencia.

This hotel is excellent, location is perfect , just off the main plaza , within walking distance of all tourist spots ! The room was spacious , spotless & staff excellent. Bathroom was adequate with a great shower. Definitely pay the little extra for a balcony 😜 . The lounge on the first floor is lovely for a drink in the evening. If coming from airport get the metro & walk 5 mins from Colon stop 🛑

What a great hotel. Excellent service, great value for money. Perfect central location and spotlessly clean rooms Rooms are uncluttered but still offer a wide range of amenities such as dressing gowns and slippers, toiletries etc. A rally great place to stay and everyone so helpful. Thank you.. we will definitely return.

Great location for this historic hotel but rooms need a cleanup and some extra touches. It’s overall a nice hotel but it needs serious TLC. There was mold in the bathroom and it was impossible to take a shower without serious leaks through the shower door. Also, the minimalist esthetic seems to be an excuse for minimalist amenities. Safes are so small they barely can fit an iPad. Staff was kind and helpful.

This hotel is in the perfect position for most of the local sights including the market, cathedral and old town. The service is really good, the rooms are well proportioned and freshly decorated. The breakfast is good and the staff very helpful. We discovered some great new restaurants as a result! A good place to stay, not too expensive either!

Hotel One Shot Palacio Reina Victoria 04 This hotel is a good choice for a short stay visit whilst visiting the City. It is in Great Location Shops and Central tourist attractions and easy to reach transport connections to the rest of the region . With its modern fittings around an Historical Building with Connections with Hemingway, it does feel a little more “ Special” Generous size rooms are available, prices seem average for the location , and fair value when comparing with other Cities in Europe. Our Balcony room came with a comfortable bed plenty of pillows. Wi-Fi is free but unprotected and patchy. You may want to rely on your mobile network. The TV channels are limited particularly English speaking and there is no HDMI port or streaming option that I could see. The Air-con is good and straightforward to control. The Clean and large bathroom is well thought out, Soap, Shampoo, Shower Gel and moisturiser are available in pump fixed Bottles near to where they are needed. Plenty of towels and we were also supplied with gowns and slippers. In our walk in wet room the Rain shower seems to overwhelm the drainage system very quickly, before using it I would check how quickly the sink empties. I found the Shower Wand perfectly efficient so just used that and it kept water in the vicinity of the shower. Housekeeping is good and rooms are made up daily. We were staying a number of days and noticed the drinking water wasn’t replenished automatically after the first day. An Iron and board are available upon request so if you can’t see something you require it ask at reception. The breakfast is Limited. You can get much more in local restaurants both in choice and value and there are some familiar chains very close by. If like us you do like the convenience it is sufficient but for €15 a head you are paying quite a premium. Being the “Must have a Cup of tea “ types I would recommend either buying locally or bringing your own bags for example English Breakfast tea ,I managed to find some in the Large El Corte Ingles food hall nearby. The “Tea Classic “ in the breakfast room is an acquired taste . If coffee is your thing there is a well stocked self service machine for basic coffee, no Lattes etc. there is a bar open in the afternoon/ Early evening , drinks menu is limited and even though they advertise a Gin at the bar there was no Gin available. There is no restaurant again there are plenty locally, but the better ones may need booking in advance. Overall a pleasant stay with good housekeeping, pleasant staffing . We would book again.

the hotel was very clean, we spent a week there. we were very satisfied with everything. the position is perfect, could reach all attractions by foot. the service is perfect too. a very special thanks to all the receptionists who were very, very helpful with us. much appreciate
