Steve's expertise as a skipper led us to encounter dolphins and turtles, and snorkeling revealed a vibrant array of fish species. The lunch on the rocks, overlooking the ocean, was a breathtaking experience. Steve's knowledge and dedication ensured our comfort throughout the trip. "Το Σαντορίνι βρίσκεται ακριβώς έξω από το Βιλάνκουλις, στο λόφο που βλέπει τα παράκτια νησιά, και αποτελείται από πολλά κτίρια σχεδόν ελληνικά στη φύση. Περάσαμε έξι μέρες εκεί και απολαύσαμε μια κρουαζιέρα δύσης σε ένα ντους και μια επίσκεψη στην αγορά του Βιλάνκουλις. Το υπνοδωμάτιό μας ήταν πολύ καθαρό. Το ντους του Walkin ήταν ευρύχωρο και είχε πολύ ζεστό νερό. Το φαγητό ήταν υπέροχο, ελπίζουμε να επιστρέψουμε στο άμεσο μέλλον."

"We spent 5 nights here and enjoyed it. The GH is run very well by the local staff and the food (French flavour) is excellent, though a set menu each day. Our (upstairs) room had a lovely view of the beach where something was always going on. Nice small pool and bar/lounge areas too. Note that most people who stay here are French. Lovely gardens. Arrangements for activities were a bit more problematic - perhaps because Sabrina was away? But we communicated with her by WhatsApp and she got everything back on track very efficiently! Snorkelling trip out to Bazaruto Islands was great, as was the cooking class with Zita. Also try the snorkeling at low tide right outside the GH to see the sea-horses!"

"After a short, open jeep ride from the Vilanculos airport, Chelsie and the team welcomed us with no fuss and a yummy lunch. Soon followed by coffees, cappuccinos, espressos, unique cocktails, solid wines, or good beer delivered with a smile to the beach deck, pools, rooms, or Casa Grande (the main area). The lodges themselves are a unique mix of rugged tent and some of the most gorgeous woodwork I’ve ever seen. Particularly the iconic Suite 9 - well worth the splurge. The other suites are spacious, comfy, and well appointed. All are cleverly hidden by deep vegetation, reached by sandy paths which makes one feel alone on an island. It’s like no other place we’ve ever stayed. The rhythm here quickly forces one to relax, eat very well (including 6 course dinners!!) and drink, take an excursion if you wish, lounge, and repeat. The ocean is accessible in the morning and late afternoon. In between it’s pushed a half mile or so out by some crazy tides. The scuba and snorkeling in the must visit, nearly devoid of people national park is quite good. Chelsie will set you up with the right folks to get you out and under the water, accessible all day from nearby Vilanculos. Some tidbits which worked very well for us but should be noted for other travelers: Our suites did not have AC, nor was it needed with exquisite early June weather. The tides are unusual here as noted above, so you can’t just drop down for an ocean swim mid-day, But that creates some awesome vistas and fun of a different kind. The dinners include a few unusual tastes. Some of those little bites were hit or miss, but we like our tasting menus to be adventurous. If you have always starving kids like we do, be sure they double up on the succulent homemade pasta evening course. The town is safe and interesting but not a destination itself per se. We loved our stay at AsDunas and would happily return someday."
