"My dog,Khaos and I loved it!! The only small tiny issue we had was a place to potty. We had to walk across the street but the night time desk lady was amazing and extremely kind. Khaos and i got the rest we needed to finish our trip home!! With a bagel and coffee on our way out! Thank you!!!"

"The hotel is on the side of highway 22, which is easy to find. The area where the hotel is located is very bright at night. There is a McDonald's on the side. There is also a love gas station and a supermarket. It is very convenient. You don't worry about safety when you arrive at night. Free parking is right in front of the hotel, which is also very bright. The room was clean and tidy, the bathroom was quite spacious and the hot water was hot. Facilities and equipment are relatively new. The beds in the double beds are relatively large, which is suitable if you live with children. There is a microwave in the room, which is good. But the air conditioner is louder. Breakfast is a simple breakfast for the Chinese, with bread, waffles, milk, eggs and fruits. I don’t think it’s okay to have enough food, but I’ll see you differently. There is also an indoor swimming pool in the hotel. The pool water is a little higher than normal temperature and we did not use it. In general, as a self-driving hotel, I think the price-performance ratio is still very high and worth recommending."

Walker County side, paved roads, 10 minutes to the grocery, hardware store, and restaurants. Just 55 minutes from Birmingham, AL and 90 minutes from Huntsville, AL.Enjoy your getaway at this vintage cabin with vaulted ceilings and classic charm. The 2-story, tin-roof cabin sleeps 14 and boasts 4 cozy bedrooms (a master on both levels!), 2 baths, a stocked kitchen, dining area. Enjoy the rocking chairs and hanging bed on the front porch. There’s also a swim pier, boat dock, fire pit, piano. Located 40 min from Birmingham. Bring your own boat (public boat launch five min away) or rent one nearby.
Full access to the property.
Other things to note
Swim at own risk, there are no lifeguards on property. No diving allowed. Children must be supervised and life jackets must be worn at all times near the water.
If you opt to hunt or fish, please make sure you have the appropriate state licenses from the state of Alabama and are following the published hunting season schedule.
There is a 1-slip boat dock available for guest use. A public boat launch is located 5 minutes away. We are not responsible for any damage to guest boats or boating equipment.
The kitchen is fully equipped (plates, forks, knives, spoons, pots, pans, bowls, toaster), kitchen towels - coffee, sugar, creamer, tea, paper towels, dish soap, and dishwasher pods. The 2-story, tin-roof cabin sleeps 14 and boasts 4 cozy bedrooms (a master on both levels!), 2 baths, a stocked kitchen, dining area. Enjoy the rocking chairs and hanging bed on the front porch. There’s also a swim pier, boat dock, fire pit, piano. Located 40 min from Birmingham. Bring your own boat (public boat launch five min away) or rent one nearby.

Swim at own risk, there are no lifeguards on property. No diving allowed. Children must be supervised and life jackets must be worn at all times near the water.
If you opt to hunt or fish, please make sure you have the appropriate state licenses from the state of Alabama and are following the published hunting season schedule.
There is a 1-slip boat dock available for guest use. A public boat launch is located 5 minutes away. We are not responsible for any damage to guest boats or boating equipment.
The kitchen is fully equipped (plates, forks, knives, spoons, pots, pans, bowls, toaster), kitchen towels - coffee, sugar, creamer, tea, paper towels, dish soap, and dishwasher pods. Bathroom includes a shower, sink, toilet, hair dryer, with towels, soap, shampoo, and conditioner. There will be 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom provided. Washing machine and dryer - clothes detergent and dryer sheets for the cabin towels provided.
