Hygiene: When checking out, the cleaner was making the bed, and I saw some dirty yellow stains inside the quilt. There was also a mouse repeller in the room, and I heard mice moving around in the ceiling at night. Facilities: The facilities are pretty standard for a village dwelling. The parking lot costs 20 RMB per day. After parking, you have to walk about 500 meters to the guesthouse's check-in hall, and then another 300 meters or so to the guesthouse after checking in, which is very inconvenient. Environment: It has an antique charm and is quiet outside. However, the soundproofing is poor; I could clearly hear my neighbor snoring at night, which is understandable for a wooden house. Service: There's a luggage cart service from the parking lot to the check-in hall (500 meters), but the path from the check-in hall to the guesthouse (300 meters) is very narrow, so you have to carry your own luggage.

Location: Right outside the guesthouse, there are vast fields of canola flowers. It's also very close to where the night activities take place. Service: The owner even came to the parking lot to pick us up; they were very welcoming. Cleanliness: The room was spotlessly clean. Facilities: The room was equipped with everything imaginable, and the bedding was incredibly comfortable. You can even enjoy the view outside right from your bed (the photos were taken from inside the room). Summary: This is an excellent tea-themed guesthouse with great drinks and a wonderful stay. Full stars, highly recommended!

This hostel is fantastic! The Kunlun Hostels in Huangshan consistently offer high standards in terms of service and facilities. I've stayed at three of them so far and absolutely love them; they all have a great hostel vibe. The owner even organizes get-togethers for guests to chat and socialize. This particular hostel in Xidi also has a small pub where you can enjoy drinks and listen to music.

The location is easy to find. It only takes ten minutes to take a taxi from the east of Yixian County. The B&B is on the left hand side of the road. I got there a little late. I called the landlady and she opened the door. The environment is very good. The small door leads directly to the scenic spot. It is easy to go to the scenic spot. very convenient.

I'd give this guesthouse a perfect 100! If you're visiting Xidi, Mobai Inn is an absolute must-stay. It's incredibly close to the scenic area entrance. I checked in on Saturday, and there was a 'Bench Dragon' parade in the evening that started right at the archway entrance, making the location exceptionally convenient. I stayed in the 'Rainbow' room. It smelled lovely as soon as I walked in, and the owner had thoughtfully turned on the air conditioning for us beforehand. The room featured a large window with a beautiful view of the lake. I didn't take any photos of the interior, but rest assured, it was impeccably clean. The toiletries were of excellent quality – seriously, the toothbrush was so good I actually took it home, haha! Besides hand soap, they also provided a bottle of lotion, which was an absolute lifesaver for me as my arms were peeling from a recent sunburn after a beach trip! The guesthouse itself is very new and tastefully decorated, with photo opportunities at every turn! The rooftop, in particular, is a must-visit for photos. They even have a selfie stick thoughtfully provided by the owner – talk about knowing your guests! At sunset, you can capture breathtaking shots of the village during golden hour. It's truly beautiful! In the early morning, you can also head up there to enjoy the fresh air and take in the views of the mountains and lotus pond. Highly recommended!

The landlady was efficient, sincere, and enthusiastic, providing excellent service. She always responded quickly to our calls and even proactively went to buy our tickets. The guesthouse's restaurant looked new and was beautifully decorated in a modern Chinese style. The landlady is a good cook; even with a limited menu, she managed to prepare three dishes to suit our tastes. Her noodle soup for breakfast was delicious! The room was smaller than we expected, with limited usable space. Because of a raised platform on the first floor, there wasn't much room to unfold our suitcases. The bathroom lacked shelves for toiletries, which was inconvenient. The guesthouse is located on the edge of the scenic area, surrounded by residential houses and guesthouses, making it quite quiet at night. The scary thing was the neighbor's dog; it barked incessantly every time we passed by, even chasing us, which was quite frightening. This was the most convenient and direct route from the guesthouse into the scenic area, making it difficult to avoid.

Between Xidi and Hongcun, I chose the quieter Xidi. Among the many B&Bs, I chose the Bona Palace Hotel, which is very close to Xidi. Parking is convenient. Compared with the B&Bs, the hotel's hygiene and service standards are more impressive. Don’t worry, you can eat at Yixiang Courtyard Restaurant very close to the hotel, right in front of the Xidi Box Office. It’s very convenient. The hotel service is very good, warm and thoughtful.

Facilities: The in-room facilities are all brand new and kept very clean and tidy. The owner maintains the courtyard beautifully. Hygiene: Someone cleans and disinfects the rooms every day, which made me feel completely at ease during my stay. Environment: When I first booked, I was quite concerned about false advertising – perhaps the environment wouldn't be good or the photos wouldn't match reality – so I only booked one night. However, upon arrival, I was wonderfully surprised! I immediately decided to extend my stay for a second night! It's a shame my travel plans were tight and I could only stay two nights; I truly wished I could have stayed longer! It's incredibly comfortable, and I hope to come back for a few days every year if I get the chance! Service: The B&B is run by the owner couple themselves, creating a very comfortable and homely atmosphere. After parking at lot #7, the owner will come pick you up in a shuttle. They also have a quiet dog named 'Laifu'~~ The owner likely cooks as well, but unfortunately, I didn't get to try their food this time! I definitely want to taste their cooking on my next visit! I forgot to take photos of the B&B 📷~~ So I can only post some pictures of Xidi Ancient Village, but staying here was truly wonderful~~

We felt incredibly fortunate to stay at Danyuan Boutique Inn. The host was very welcoming and took extra care with everything. We had great conversations, and even though we had to use translation apps, we felt like friends after just one day. His wife cooked a wonderful dinner and breakfast for us of local cuisine - it was a unique and authentic experience. This was our favourite place to stay throughout our extensive travel through China! I strongly recommend to everyone: Chinese and international travellers. Thank you!

This hotel is about a 15-minute taxi ride from Yixian East Station. The guest rooms were clean and spacious. There was a gap between the shower booth door and the adjacent partition, causing water to leak into the toilet area. The pumps for the body wash, shampoo, and conditioner in the shower room were stiff and difficult to dispense. Also, this may seem like a minor detail, but the adhesive on the toilet paper roll (the beginning) was stuck on far too firmly, making it difficult to peel off. Breakfast was late, starting at 8:00 AM, and the lights weren't even on at that time, and the food wasn't fully prepared. The selection was extremely limited, consisting almost entirely of staple foods. Furthermore, the guest rooms had poor soundproofing; I could hear the people in the next room making noise until after 11:00 PM. You can contact the front desk staff by adding them as a friend on WeChat, and they offer free car service from the hotel to Xidi Ancient Village. You can also communicate with them via WeChat for inquiries and requests. The front desk staff were very kind. I think the restaurant on the first floor could be improved, including the start time for breakfast service.
