"The hotel had spacious rooms with large bathrooms and views of the spectacular countryside. Woke up to birds singing...no traffic sounds! Everything was within walking distance up the hill to the cathedral from which there was a view that went on for miles. The first night there was the new chef's first night working there. What a variety of dishes from mackerel to chicken to pork to fish to desserts to die for. Cheeses and breads during the late afternoons on the front veranda were fun with drinks from the hotel bar. Kir Royal was delicious!! This by far was my favorite spot in France, including hotel and its dining room, supermarket with wine and cheeses, town and surrounding hills."

"I came for 2 nights with half board Disappointed by this hotel Arrived for the evening meal no buffet took a carafe of wine which increased by 5o centimes the next day even though it was the same first night there was no noise On the other hand the next day when we returned from our surprise walk magnetized card impossible to enter, once entered the room no more towels and no replacement On the welcome tray in the room no sugar and just 1 coffee and when we opened the bed the bottom sheet not pulled just put it back on top No hairdryer in the bathroom and no shutters on the windows just curtains"

"The room was not clean, the toilets were dirty and there were spiders in the room. The draps were dirty, which is unacceptable for a hotel. The hotel was very comfortable and the staff were very comfortable and the sleep was difficult."
