The service does not speak English but they speak Chinese. English simply is not common in that part of Lao. But the rooms are very comfortable and also the location of the hotel is great, with a supermarket right in front of it. Can definitely recommend it!

What's it like to sleep in a tropical rainforest? The hotel is located within the Nanjia Nature Reserve, and the environment is impeccable! Falling asleep to the sounds of natural waterfalls and the chirping of insects and frogs at night is so pleasant! The breakfast is also plentiful. Although it's a bit far from the city center of Mengsai, it's still well worth the stay! There are so many beautiful butterflies and various rare plants and animals. The lobby also has specialty shops where you can find something you like! I'll definitely stay here again next time I come.

The hotel room is spacious and clean windows are big with a scenic view in front. Staff are friendly and helpful. If I return to Muang Xay I definitely will book here again. One thing to cheer about is they offer free shuttle service to either Oudomxay bus or train station.

This villa was amazing for the price, we had no idea what we were getting and were super satisfied after a long day on the slow boat. They picked us up from the jetty and also provided free breakfast, you could also preorder food for the next day. Room was very clean, very big bed and we were super stoked with luxuries like seperate shower and toilet, as well as towels. Definitely recommend

Great place, extremely relaxing in this month of April. Being outside the tourist season and in an extremely hot period we were able to take advantage of the swimming pool, great on the banks of the Mekong. It's actually not very far from the main street of Pakbeng. We were even able to see the elephants bathing opposite. If you stay long enough, go and spend some time at Mekong Elephant Park, it's a magnificent project.

Luxury hotel in the Laotian wilderness. We arrived on a slow boat and spent New Year's Eve there. Unfortunately, no festive event was held at the hotel, which was a little disappointing, because there is absolutely nothing to do in the village. The rooms are new, clean, spacious, and have a beautiful view. It's close to Wat Phu Tat and the night market. The owner is lovely and very kind, helping with everything from tourist information to other things. I was very impressed and it was excellent value for money. I highly recommend it! (I'm a Thai tourist and I would definitely stay there again.)

It's an atmospheric hotel on the banks of the Mekong River, with each bungalow being separate from the next and having beautiful teak furniture. The staff were brilliant throughout my stay and went out of their way to help with transport and food. Two negatives, however, are limited transportation into town and the cleanliness of the bathroom. When I arrived, there was a big spider in the shower section.
