"Bus 117 plies thru Century Blvd and stops quite near to the hotel. Photos shows the scenes from walking from the bus stop to the entrance of the hotel. Next day, we took the same bus that continued to the Airport LAX/ Metro Transit Centre to take the free LAX shuttle to T1, T2, T3 then to Tom Bradley international terminal ( B ). It's walking distance also to Pollo Loco where we bought dinner. Hotel room has no kettle but with microwave oven, you can warm up your food. Some points to feedback to management is : Tap leaks if it's not pushed towards the left ( See photo ). Seems shower also leaks but slightly? Couldn't fill the small bathtub as drainage hole couldn't be closed or plugged. Acceptable on the whole b00l1ecause: shower is warm ( not hot ) and not strong pressure so just enough water. OK for me."

"The place was clean and simple, perfectly adequate for our needs. It's located just steps away from the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The room was spotless and tidy. The bathroom was very functional and well-maintained. We'd definitely consider staying here again."

"I stayed here to go to Dodger Stadium, and it was great that it was within walking distance! The only complaint I had was that the water pressure in the shower was weak. You had to hand in your room card to the front desk every day (I'm not sure why). The bus leaves right in front of the hotel, so you can take it if you're going somewhere nearby. There are no supermarkets or convenience stores nearby, so it's best to buy food and bring it with you."

"I recently stayed at this wonderful hotel in San Diego and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome with their genuine hospitality and attention to detail. Check-in was quick and effortless, and I immediately felt at ease. I especially loved the little touches—plenty of charging ports, great water pressure in the shower, and a balcony with a beautiful view of the city and ocean. Whether I wanted to walk around, take a short drive, or simply relax by the pool, everything was easily accessible. The hotel amenities exceeded expectations. The pool area was a highlight, perfect for enjoying the sunshine, while the fitness center was well-equipped and clean. The on-site restaurant offered delicious meals with fresh, local ingredients, and the breakfast buffet had something for everyone. What really made my stay special, however, was the service. Every staff member I interacted with went above and beyond—whether it was offering recommendations, arranging transportation, or just greeting me with a smile. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting San Diego, whether for business, a family vacation, or a relaxing getaway. I’m already looking forward to staying here again!"

"Location: Pretty nearby the highway. Cleanliness: Bad, dead bug bodies inside the room and it seems long time no one used the room. Service: Front desk is an old man who is nice to share his electric fan with us due to the extremely hot weather in the night (AC can't cool down efficiently since it's too hot outside) Facilities: Covers standard need with travel, qualified as a motel."

"Overall I'd give it 4 stars. There was a stain on one of the shelves but nothing crazy serious, due to the pandemic there was no breakfast however they made up for it by providing free snacks and hot beverages 24hrs. Would definitely be returning. "

"Union was the right price in the very right location, and wonderful people running the place as well. Toilet & washroom were in the hallway, but that was OK with me, as I've traveled extensively outside the West, and done that regularly. BART access is nearly doorstep, which was a top priority - loved it! Location is right at the ”Burrito Triangle”, with lots of other food available, too, so dining is easy. Their complimentary coffee is strong & fresh, but since DIY was permitted, I brought my civet coffee & fill-yourself K-cups. Good place to stay!"
