"The hotel itself was generally clean and comfortable, meeting our expectations. The business twin room was spacious enough for three of us, including a child. For two people, a basic room would offer better value for money. I especially want to praise the breakfast. We arrived at 10:15 AM, and there were no other guests, but the food was plentiful and still hot, which was great. The location on the main road made it convenient to get to the museum. However, the traffic infrastructure in Hohhot is quite outdated. Even though Dazhao Temple looked only a few kilometers away, it took half an hour by car, longer than expected. It's something to be prepared for."

"Whatever reservations about how the place is eerie, or overcrowded, or strange varnish smells, are all out the window when we arrived. We were gobsmacked from the scale, wonderful amenities, photo opportunities from the matryoshka hotel. The 2 bedroom was big and spacious, supremely comfortable. Breakfast was awesome with much variety. And we appreciate the proximity to the scenic area. A great experience and good value for money. A map of the hotel with its location within the scenic area would have been perfect. Feel a bit lost within the scale of the project."

Being able to turn lights on/off, adjust the AC, and open/close the curtains all from bed without lifting a finger was a real treat. The facilities are modern and practical, making for a very relaxing and comfortable stay. The environment is clean and tidy, and the service was thoughtful. This is now my top choice for accommodation when traveling – highly recommend!"

"The front desk service was warm and attentive. Check-in and check-out were both quick with no unnecessary waiting time. The room was spacious and bright, with excellent natural light. The furniture and appliances were all new and the facilities were comprehensive; the air conditioning, TV, and water heater all worked perfectly. "Traveling to Hohhot, I chose the Wanda Vista Hotel, and it exceeded my expectations. The hotel environment is elegant and tranquil, with a great ambiance. The guest rooms are spacious and bright, with impeccable hygiene, and the bathroom features a wet/dry separation, making for a very comfortable stay. The entire staff is professional and attentive; any requests are handled quickly, and they are humble and patient with guests. The breakfast offers a rich variety of options, including local specialty dishes. The surrounding area has excellent amenities, making shopping and dining very convenient. Staying here was relaxing and reassuring, adding many wonderful experiences to my trip. I will definitely prioritize this hotel next time I visit Hohhot."

"The food at the hotel was excellent, and there were so many activities to enjoy. The VIP queue experience was also great. From a value-for-money perspective, even though it was expensive, I felt it was totally worth it. However, there were a few minor shortcomings: 1. A very small number of staff members tried to shirk responsibility. When we first returned to the hotel from Xiangshawan, the waiting area was completely empty. A drowsy older gentleman told us to just get on the next jeep that arrived. As soon as the jeep pulled up, about a dozen people appeared, led by a female staff member. She immediately started bossing us around, saying it was for *them* and that we should go queue up. I was quite annoyed and said that when we arrived, there was no one here, and now that *they* have arrived, we're suddenly told to queue up, meaning we'd be stuck behind these dozen-plus people and God knows how long we'd have to wait. Seeing my strong tone, this female staff member simply said, ”I don't know,” shrunk her neck, and stayed silent. She made no effort to help us or manage the other group, acting as if we should just sort it out ourselves. Fortunately, another vehicle arrived quickly, and the driver was excellent, immediately saying there was space for everyone and that there were plenty of cars. If it weren't for the good driver, and me being tired, I would have definitely noted down the employee number of that staff member who was so aggressive at first but then immediately cowered and dodged responsibility when faced with someone assertive. 2. The wait time for the small train shuttle to and from the room was very long. I suggest informing guests how long the wait will be. The first time we left, it arrived in about 2 minutes, so I assumed it would always be quick. The second time, I waited for ten minutes and it still hadn't arrived. Only after calling again was I told it would be another five minutes. I recommend informing guests of the expected wait time during the initial booking to help them decide whether to continue waiting. Furthermore, the so-called QR code reservation system was not user-friendly at all. You couldn't note the number of people, it didn't show how many people were ahead of you, and I didn't see any time advantage. I specifically took a photo of the QR code and made a reservation while I was in the lobby, but when I went upstairs, I was still behind people who only reported their room numbers to the staff *after* arriving upstairs. Overall, the positives far outweigh the negatives, and I definitely plan to come back in the summer."

"My elderly family members were staying, and they need a firm mattress. They found the hotel's mattress too soft. We initially contacted housekeeping, who said flipping it wouldn't make a difference as both sides were the same, which we accepted. However, it was still too soft, so we asked housekeeping to remove the mattress and just let us sleep on the bed base with a duvet underneath. When the housekeeping staff came, they had a scowl on their face the entire time. After removing the mattress, they unhappily threw the duvet down and left without making the bed. My family member ended up having to make it themselves. The experience was very unpleasant. Did our request inconvenience her? In the service industry, attitude is paramount. Please take note."
