This hotel was an excellent choice for my trip. The internet speed was fast and reliable. The front desk service was attentive, and the bathroom amenities were comprehensive. There were plenty of restaurant options nearby, and the environment was clean and quiet. The value for money far exceeded other hotels in the same price range.

On our first night, we were given a street-facing room, and the noise from passing traffic disturbed us in the mornings. After a quick chat with the front desk, the staff immediately and graciously moved us to a larger, quieter room at no extra charge. Their problem-solving efficiency was excellent, and their attitude was incredibly gentle. We also received complimentary breakfast during our stay, which offered a wide variety of delicious options. The location is very convenient. It's a short taxi ride to Baoguo Temple, Fuhu Temple, and the Maluqiao Food Street, making it easy to get around with kids. The overall ambiance is a quiet, comfortable, and clean new-Chinese Zen-style courtyard. When traveling, such genuine and thoughtful service is a rare find. They didn't pass the buck when problems arose and made every effort to help guests. If I ever return to the foot of Mount Emei, I wouldn't hesitate to choose this place again. I genuinely recommend it to families traveling with children.

We stayed at the Celebrity City Hotel in Chengdu during the National Day holiday, and our family were extremely satisfied. This hotel is definitely a great pick — you can book it without hesitation! We arrived on an international flight and landed very early. We contacted the hotel in advance, and all the staff were warm and professional. Special thanks go to Ryan. He handled our check-in carefully and attentively, helped deliver our luggage to the room, and was incredibly thoughtful. He patiently told us how to purchase breakfast, shared plenty of practical travel tips and recommended sightseeing routes. We were truly touched and grateful for his help. The hotel enjoys an excellent location, with shopping malls and food streets nearby, making dining and getting around super convenient. We stayed on the 24th floor, where we could overlook the square and watch the spectacular flag-raising ceremony. The room was completely quiet with no outside noise. The air conditioning worked perfectly, the room layout was well-proportioned, and the water temperature and water pressure in the bathroom were comfortable. There is also a self-service laundry room, which is very handy for family trips. The hotel breakfast had a wide variety of food options, enjoyed by both adults and children. This stay greatly elevated the comfort level of our whole trip. Thank you to Celebrity City Hotel, and a special thank you to Ryan for his warm and thoughtful service. The hotel itself is quite good. The location is excellent, right by Jinjiang Park, near Jiuyan Bridge, and Anshun Bridge is practically on its doorstep. It's also very close to the bar street, Lan Kwai Fong, and Taikoo Li. The overall service was good, and the rooms were decent. Most rooms have a small balcony with a view, and the facilities inside were complete, clean, and well-maintained. Although the breakfast was simple, it was balanced and offered enough variety. There were mainly two downsides. Firstly, it's very close to the bars, which made it quite noisy. The noise from Jiuyan Bridge quieted down around midnight, but Lan Kwai Fong downstairs kept going until three or four in the morning without stopping. Plus, being close to Taikoo Li meant luxury cars often sped by with roaring engines late at night. Aside from these objective factors, it seems the room's soundproofing wasn't ideal, making it hard to get a good night's sleep. Secondly, during the National Day holiday, the balcony door in our room was left open by the cleaning staff after they tidied up. This let in a lot of mosquitoes, especially since the temperature in Chengdu isn't low at this time of year, which affected the quality of our rest.

We stayed in Meishan for a week for a sporting event. The hotel has clearly seen better days—especially compared to many newer properties in the area (aging lifts, worn carpets, etc.). We chose it mainly for three reasons: breakfast, gym/pool, and laundry facilities. 1. Breakfast The daily buffet was solid and met expectations. It featured a typical Chinese spread: hot stir-fried dishes, vegetables, meats, buns, dumplings, fried rice/noodles, porridge, plus a live station for dan dan noodles, eggs, and simple meats like sausage or ham. There was also a rotating Chinese dessert (e.g., red date with longan, green bean soup), along with some Western options like salad greens, yogurt, bread, cake, and fresh fruit. Since we stayed a full week, we appreciated the small variations. That said, we were surprised by the limited fruit selection—mainly oranges and watermelon—especially given the abundance of fresh fruit available locally. Breakfast vouchers are issued daily and must be presented before dining. 2. Gym & Pool This was the biggest disappointment. Both the gym and pool were completely closed, and the entire floor was gutted with no visible renovation activity. It looks like these facilities have been—and will be—out of service for quite some time. This was a major letdown, as it was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel. 3. Laundry There is only one washer and one dryer for the entire building. We were concerned about availability, but only had to wait once. The 15-minute wash cycle helps with turnover. However, the dryer takes a long time and unfortunately shrunk all my cotton clothing. I’d recommend partially drying cotton items and then air-drying them in your room. Package Perks We booked through Trip.com, which included a small daily package: a plate with two oranges and some snacks, complimentary coffee or tea in the lobby, and a free transfer to the high-speed rail station (must be booked at the front desk one day in advance). There were also canned sodas included, which we didn’t use. Room & Noise We were initially assigned a room facing the plaza, which was very noisy. After requesting a change, we were first told the hotel was sold out—but after some persistence, a park-facing room was “found.” This room was significantly better: quiet, bright, and pleasant, with birdsong in the morning. We were told these were actually an upgrade, and that road-facing rooms are even worse due to constant traffic noise. 4. Smart Room Features (“Xiao Du”) We did enjoy the smart room system—“Xiao Du,” which works similarly to Alexa. It can control the curtains, TV, room temperature, and lighting, which is a nice modern touch. However, it was also a bit frustrating at times—for example, it would automatically turn off the lights in the bathroom sink area. The lighting there is already quite dim and not ideal for doing makeup. It would be helpful if the hotel could improve lighting around the mirror (brighter bulbs would make a big difference), or even better, install a mirror by the writing desk near the window where there is natural light. Smoking Smoking is allowed in the hotel, and we did notice it in the lobby, elevators, and corridors. Thankfully, our room itself was fine. Housekeeping turns off the AC and opens windows when cleaning, which seems to help ventilate lingering smoke. Location & Surroundings The hotel is in a convenient area. A nearby park is lovely, with traditional structures and inscriptions related to the Su family. Within a short walk is a lively commercial plaza with restaurants, bubble tea shops, salons (I tried a newly opened nail salon), and more. Getting around via Didi is easy. Overall For the price, the hotel offers decent value. However, the closed fitness facilities were a major downside. If we return, we’d likely try a newer hotel—but this one works if you prioritize cost and location over amenities.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The homestay had such a cozy and welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home. There's a lift that takes you up to Level 2 where the homestay is located. While there isn't a lift within the homestay itself, it wasn't an issue at all because the owner was incredibly kind and even insisted on carrying our luggage all the way up to our room on the third floor. We truly appreciated such a thoughtful gesture! The hospitality and service were exceptional throughout our stay. For my Muslim friends, there's a delicious halal food stall located just outside the homestay. It was so good that we went back to buy takeaway for dinner later that night! The location is also convenient, with many tourist attractions nearby. We found taking a DiDi to be the easiest and most comfortable way to get around. Overall, we genuinely enjoyed our stay and couldn't have asked for a better host. Thank you for making our trip such a memorable one, we would definitely stay here again!

Cons: 1. The check-in process was truly unprofessional. They just said there were no rooms available and then left guests hanging, without even informing me about what was included in my booking package. I only found out about many services I hadn't used when I checked out. This is the first time I've encountered such unprofessional service. 2. The breakfast didn't have any rice dishes, not even simple fried rice, which is unfriendly for people who don't eat noodles or spicy food. Pros: The facilities and cleanliness are definitely excellent, and having a full set of Dyson products is a nice touch. Summary: If you have high expectations for service, I'd advise caution. The best service I received was from the welcoming dog. However, if you don't have high service expectations but prioritize good facilities, then this hotel is suitable.

I didn't have much of a detailed plan for my short trip to Chengdu this time; I randomly booked this hotel, and it turned out to be a delightful surprise. It was raining lightly on the day I arrived, and I got a bit wet dragging my luggage. As soon as I stepped into the hotel lobby, I immediately felt a sense of warmth. The front desk staff noticed me and proactively offered tissues. The check-in process was relaxed and unhurried; they didn't just rush through the procedures and even kindly reminded me to be careful of slippery surfaces due to the rain. The first impression when I entered the room was how fresh and clean it was, with no stuffy odors. The layout was simple and comfortable. The bedding was neat and soft, and the lighting was gentle and not harsh. After a long journey, coming back to the room allowed me to completely relax. The bathroom was meticulously cleaned, with all the corners well-maintained. The water flow was smooth, and the overall bathroom experience was excellent. The hotel's soundproofing was good; it was very quiet at night, and I had a peaceful and solid night's sleep. At one point, when I went out, I accidentally left my umbrella near the elevator. I thought it would be difficult to get back, but I decided to contact the front desk just in case. The staff quickly helped me check the surveillance footage and successfully retrieved my item. This small incident particularly warmed my heart. Overall, my stay was very comfortable. The facilities were excellent, but what was most remarkable was the genuine service. It wasn't just a rigid formality but sincere and thoughtful care from the heart. It's suitable for both leisure travel and business trips. It was a very pleasant stay, and I will choose this hotel again next time I visit Chengdu.

This guesthouse truly exceeded our expectations! The room design is very stylish, clean, and tidy, with an absolutely stunning view – we could admire the snow-capped mountains right from our bed, making for a very comfortable stay. The owner's service was incredibly warm and thoughtful; not only did they provide convenient transfers to and from the scenic area, but they also proactively helped us contact and book a vehicle back to Chengdu, which saved us a lot of hassle during our trip. Any needs we had during our stay were promptly addressed, making us feel right at home. Both the environment, facilities, and service were impeccable. We highly recommend staying here when visiting Siguniang Mountain, and we will definitely be back!

Staying at Vienna International Hotel (Jiuzhaigou, Aba ******* and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture) during our Western Sichuan trip exceeded all my expectations. The hotel is newly renovated, and the lobby is clean and grand. The room was spacious, spotless, and completely free of any unpleasant odors. It's fully equipped with smart home features—you can control the lights and curtains with voice commands. It also had a smart toilet and steady hot water. After a full day of sightseeing, taking a hot shower instantly melted away all my fatigue. Location-wise, it's just a 10-minute drive to the Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area, making getting around super convenient. The hotel offers free parking, as well as a shuttle service to the entrance of the scenic area. Breakfast offered a great variety, including Chinese congee, steamed buns, and pastries; the freshly cooked rice noodles were especially comforting. Amenities like a self-service laundry room and a gym are absolute lifesavers for long-distance trips. The staff were friendly and very responsive. Finding such a clean, comfortable, and fully equipped hotel in a high-altitude area is truly rare. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Jiuzhaigou and highly recommend it to anyone visiting!
