The location is super convenient. 2 min to Taipei main station. The room is small but decent. Shampoo and body foam provided is low quality but this is small issue. We are allowed to store our luggage after we checked out. Counter staffs are very helpful and responsive. We are glad that we had chosen this hotel because it is accessible to many places.

Hotel Dua Kenting – A Dreamy Escape in Southern Taiwan Traveling to Kenting feels like a true getaway, and staying at Hotel Dua Kenting makes the experience even more memorable. The journey is smooth: take the HSR from Taipei to Kaohsiung, then ride the Taiwan Tourist Shuttle bus for about 140 minutes. Get off at the Kenting Police Substation stop, and within a short three-minute walk, you’ll arrive at the hotel. The first impression is unforgettable. The lobby features a spiral staircase that adds a touch of elegance and uniqueness to the interior. Above it, a transparent swimming pool lets sunlight filter through, casting shimmering reflections across the lobby floor. It feels less like a hotel lobby and more like stepping into a piece of living art. The interplay of architecture and nature creates a dreamy atmosphere where you can’t help but pause and soak it all in. Security is reassuring, with keycard-only elevator access to guest floors. Rooms are comfortable and modern, designed for relaxation. The staff are warm, patient, and incredibly helpful, especially for first-time visitors. Their guidance on what to do in Kenting made exploring the area much easier and more enjoyable. I really enjoyed my stay at Caesar Metro Taipei and would definitely stay here again on my next trip. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable, and it was always nice coming back to the hotel after a long day out. The bed was comfortable too, and overall the room felt like a proper place to rest and recharge. The location was also very convenient for getting around Taipei, with the train station nearby and plenty of food options around the area. Despite being in a busy part of the city, the hotel itself felt comfortable and relaxing. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and everything was generally very fuss-free. I especially appreciated the comfort of the hotel after some very long days during this trip. Overall, a really pleasant stay and easily one of the hotels I would return to when I’m back in Taipei. 😊

Hotel is relative clean. Stayed in a single room with a semi double bed. Size is decent but didn’t realised it was behind the lifts, could hear the lift moving through out the day. The shower head position is pretty bad. It’s not on an angle it’s pretty much like spraying directly into your body. It would be great if they could address this. It’s 15 mins walk from the metro station so not closed. Also there was a cockroach in the bathroom. Crawled out of the drain

The hotel's interior decor is stunning, with a strong Japanese feel. The rooms are clean and spacious, featuring a private onsen and yukata. Plus, there are complimentary drinks and snacks. If you check in around 3 PM, you can enjoy a tea ceremony performance with free green tea and snacks. Breakfast offers a wide and delicious selection!

The hotel is ok but the room is big. The restaurant in the hotel is a must try. My daughter LOVEs every dishes she ordered. She said, this is the best food she had in Taiwan, so we had two dinners at the hotel. The location of the hotel is not great! We couldn’t get into the local buses to go to Xitou nor to Taichung because the buses were full from the original starting point. However, the hotel offers fare shuttle service to and from Xitou but not Shanlinxi. The front desk lady drove us to Xitou, she was GREAT and very accommodating, she took us to Xitou bus station outside of the normal schedule hours so we can catch the bus back to Taichung. We would come back again with our car to get to different areas in Xitou again.

This was my first time staying at this hotel, and I was assigned a room in Building 3. The soundproofing was absolutely terrible, not only between rooms but also for the French windows. Just outside my room's balcony, there's an open-air lounge area for the hotel downstairs, and I could clearly hear guests' conversations. Throughout the night, I kept hearing intermittent noises, like something scratching the wall, coming from upstairs, as well as conversations from other rooms, which made it very difficult to sleep. When I checked out, I mentioned this to the front desk. They told me that only my son and I were staying in Building 3 (so where were the noises coming from? The front desk suggested I must have been hearing noises from Building 2 🙃). The overall hotel design is quite odd; it's divided into three buildings. To dine or use the hot springs, you have to go to Building 1. Although there's a golf cart shuttle service, it's still inconvenient when there's a large crowd waiting for a ride. My son used the public hot springs and thought they were pretty good and well-equipped. That was the only positive aspect of this stay.

This time I brought my wife to Taichung for her birthday, and we stayed at the Norway Forest Cultural Center for the first night. We arrived early to drop off our luggage and immediately experienced the friendly and polite service, which made me feel happy and warm. Although there was a minor issue with the air conditioning in our room when we checked in that evening, the front desk manager came up and helped us switch to a larger and more comfortable room. Their service attitude was also super nice. It's no wonder this hotel has reviews above 9 – it's absolutely deserved. If I have the chance to come again, it will definitely be my first choice! 🥰

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Sun Palm B&B. Have written this review in English, but we communicated with them in Chinese. We stayed at this B&B during the tourism off-peak season (March). Service - Amazing. They were very responsive on Line, and quick to reply. They were also helpful with our requests/questions (e.g. fetching service to and fro airport, car rental service, traffic road conditions in Penghu) and were polite. They also gave some advice on what can or cannot be done (e.g. we wanted to cycle around Penghu, but they advised us saying Penghu was too big to travel on a bicycle). The driver was always punctual when picking us up, and when sending us to the airport. In fact, he was already there, with the car ready, minutes before we were supposed to leave for the airport - we didn't even need to remind them. The lady boss was very friendly - when we first arrived, she asked if we were new to Penghu (it was our first time), and she introduced where to explore in Penghu, and what to eat. She also told us that if we wanted to do water activities, we can approach them, and they can make a check with the centres to see if they are open since it was off-peak season for tourist activities. We also had some extra request regarding the check out timing, and she helped us with it too. Before we arrived, they also tested the car we wanted to rent, and upon finding out that it wasn't working as well, they provided us with another car instead - this is certainly good service. They also cleaned up the room upon request, and re-stocked the fridge with drinks. Food - The breakfast was amazing and fresh (see photos). On the first day we had bread + doughstick + egg with spring onion all in one package. It was delicious. On the second day, we had vermicelli and seafood (e.g. squid, prawns). The seafood was really fresh, and the broth was simple and tasty. Each dish was accompanied by fresh fruits / pastry + drink, which was refreshing. Room - We got the Starry Honeymoon Room. It was very spacious, the room was clean, the amenities were in good condition, and the overall design was aesthetically pleasing. The heart pillow on the bed was a cute addition, and the round bed was big enough for 2 of us. Above the bed there was a window covered with a retractable screen - you can actually look into the sky while lying on the bed, really interesting.  Location - While this B&B is further away from the main city, we didn't feel that affected as they provided airport transfer services. Also, we felt that it being away from the hustle and bustle from the city was actually advantageous, as the B&B's location had a more relaxed, quiet, holiday vibes, which was what we were looking for.  There is a 7-11 around 10 minutes from the B&B, so if you need food etc in the middle of the night, you can get it from there. We rented a car, so travelling to other areas wasn't much of an issue. Overall, I will recommend this B&B to anyone looking to tour Penghu! Am glad to have chosen this B&B for our first ever trip to Penghu :)
