"I stayed for one night with my husband and child in a privilege pool room. It was only an hour's drive from Bogor. All the staff were friendly. We were allowed to play in the aviary while waiting for our room (because we arrived too early, around 12 PM), and lunch at the restaurant was delicious too. The most memorable part was the aviary attendant, who was so communicative with the kids, making them feel right at home. There were many free activities for children, and some paid ones like horseback riding, but it was all worth it since we didn't have to go out elsewhere. When we visited, we also received a free anniversary cake slice, free snacks in the room, and a free framed photo with a photographer. Thank you, Mercure Cibadak and the gentleman in the photo. We'll definitely be back! The only downside was that the artificial waterfall in the aviary wasn't running when we arrived, which was a bit disappointing, but overall, we were happy and enjoyed our stay."

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an absolutely wonderful family stay at Mason Pine Hotel and it exceeded our expectations. Even before our arrival, the communication with the hotel team was excellent. They responded promptly to our requests and made us feel truly welcomed. Upon check-in, we were delighted to receive a complimentary room upgrade with a beautiful pool view. The room was also thoughtfully prepared with a personalized welcome message on the mirror, a delicious cake, and adorable elephant towel decorations. These small touches made our family feel very special. The facilities are outstanding, especially for families with children. Our little one had so much fun enjoying the swimming pool, trampoline, arcade games, and the various kids’ activities available throughout the hotel. We were also pleasantly surprised to find pickleball facilities, which added another enjoyable activity during our stay. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices, and the entire hotel was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. What impressed us the most was the genuine hospitality of every staff member. Everyone was warm, friendly, and always willing to help. They even kindly granted us a complimentary late check-out until 1 PM, which we truly appreciated. We will definitely return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing, fun, and family-friendly getaway near Bandung. This is not just a hotel stay—it was a memorable family experience that we will always cherish. One thing that pleasantly surprised me was how runner-friendly the location is. I started my morning with a 5K run from the hotel to the Bumi Hejo and IKEA Kota Baru Parahyangan area before returning to the hotel. The route was enjoyable, the morning atmosphere was fresh, and it was a perfect way to begin the day. This is definitely an added bonus for guests who enjoy running or morning walks. We’ve stayed at several hotels before, including a beachfront resort in Bali, but Mason Pine Hotel has become our favorite family staycation destination. It wasn’t just because of the facilities—it was the genuine hospitality, thoughtful attention to detail, and the complete family-friendly experience that truly made the difference. We left with wonderful memories and can’t wait to come back."

"The location of this accommodation is excellent, with easy access and not hard to find. Overall, it's okay. However, it's the minor details that make the stay less comfortable, for example: 1. No refrigerator available. 2. The bathroom floor is slippery. 3. No dedicated hand soap (we had to use shower gel, and even though it's not far, this is important). 4. No place to put personal items inside the shower. 5. Hot water for showering is very limited; we had to wait about 1 hour for the next hot water supply. 6. No hot water at the sink faucet for handwashing. At night, the temperature can get very cold, so hot water for handwashing is essential. 7. The chat application needs improvement because when typing, you can't see what you've written directly like in WhatsApp, so you have to constantly hide the keyboard to check. But the staff are very friendly and always ready to help. Thank you."

"This hotel is really great! I got a room with an amazing view directly facing the mountains in Bogor. The service was excellent and very friendly. The place is super comfortable, perfect for some 'me time.' And if you have a significant other, definitely bring them along!"

"The sliding bathroom door is made of aluminum, so it's noisy. Check-in took forever, super slow and drawn out. If there's a request made during booking, it should be addressed. Don't wait until arrival to give a bunch of excuses. Got a room way, way in the back, but that's just how the hotel is designed. Check-out also involved a long wait... Maybe they're afraid the TV will go missing, lol."

"We stayed 4 nights as a family with two children. Overall: an excellent family resort with genuinely outstanding staff — the friendliness was consistent everywhere we went, from check-in to restaurants to the spa, across the entire stay. Check-in & room: Check-in was long but handled in a friendly manner. Executive Suite 7501 is very spacious with a large bathroom and a very large balcony. Ideal layout for a family of four. Pools: Very large swimming pools with separate areas for kids and adults — this separation worked well for us. Damar Restaurant: We ate here for the Saturday ”Surf & Sear Live Robata Night” and daily breakfast. The dinner buffet is the widest I have seen in a hotel — huge variety, delicious and freshly cooked, in a cozy atmosphere with very attentive staff who helped us in every way. Kids ate free at the themed night (printed on the bill), drinks were included in the buffet price (iced tea, cold brew, iced latte, ginger fizz), and the ALL Accor membership 10% F&B discount was honored. One honest caveat: the advertised live robata grilling counter was absent our night because the restaurant was hosting a wedding, so it was effectively buffet-only and busy — if you're booking specifically for the live-grill experience, confirm no private event is scheduled. Breakfast (also at Damar): wide variety, same friendly staff, but very crowded on Sunday morning — noticeably calmer on weekdays. The resort clearly runs at full capacity on weekends with the Jakarta crowd. Mad Cow (steakhouse, Level 6): Quiet, relaxed atmosphere on our Sunday visit. Steaks are grilled on an open station, staff were very friendly and helped us choose. Fresh juices were good. Note it's a premium-priced venue — imported Australian 450g cuts at steakhouse prices — and alcohol-free per local regulations (mocktails and juices only). Spa: Very clean and relaxing. We took two treatments — a 90-minute Traditional Balinese massage and a 60-minute Deep Tissue — both excellent. Padi Pool & Bar: Good mocktail selection for a pool day. Practical notes: the resort suits families exceptionally well; GrabFood delivers to the lobby if you want variety; folio can be pre-settled the evening before an early checkout, which made our 06:30 departure effortless; roughly 2 hours from CGK airport (use the Kunciran toll route to avoid Jakarta traffic). Verdict: The staff make this resort — every single venue, every single day. We'd return."
