"This was my first time staying overnight in Ise, so I chose a hotel from a brand I frequently use. It's conveniently located right across from the JR station. There's a hot spring bath on the second floor of the hotel, and you can even enjoy an ice cream after your soak to cool down. Breakfast is served in the restaurant, also on the second floor. We stayed in the new annex, and they offered complimentary afternoon tea from 3 PM."

"Toba International Hotel Shiojitei was an absolute highlight of our trip. The exceptional service truly stood out, embodying the Japanese spirit of 'omotenashi' from start to finish. This began with the shuttle pick-up from Toba Station, followed by detailed guidance during check-in, and enthusiastic explanations of each dish in the restaurant – every interaction was flawless. The food, featuring local delicacies like Ise Bay seafood and Matsusaka beef, was undeniably delicious and beautifully presented. While you mentioned the portion sizes were 'rather average,' this is typical of kaiseki-style dining; although there are many courses, individual portions are small. For those with larger appetites, it might feel a little insufficient. The hotel facilities are well-maintained, with both the guest rooms and the onsen area (the Pearl Onsen left our skin sparkling!) being spotlessly clean. Overall, it has no obvious weaknesses; the service, dining, and ambiance harmonized perfectly to provide the best hotel experience of our trip."

"The hotel is well maintained. The room is probably the largest I've stayed in Japan. You can see the beautiful view of Ago Bay when you enter the room. The staff are very friendly and speak good English. At the same time, the hotel has a car to pick up to the other main building at any time. The sky garden has a check-in point for the 2016 G7 Summit, and the scenery is no less beautiful than the view from the Yokoyama Observatory. The breakfast is rich, with Western buffet and Japanese set meals to choose from, and the taste is very good. There is a scheduled shuttle bus from Kashikojima Station to the hotel. If you are late, you can also call the hotel to pick you up at the station. The service is really considerate. It is difficult to find a restaurant open after 5 o'clock near Kashikojima Station. It is recommended to make a reservation for dinner at the hotel. I will stay here again if I have the chance~"

"We used this hotel as a family celebration trip. The facilities were beautiful and lovely, but what really impressed us was the warm and wonderful service from the staff. Due to the earthquake in Russia, trains were stopped and we had no means of transportation, but they extended our check-out time and were very accommodating. The food was delicious, and each dish was carefully prepared. The breakfast buffet was also very satisfying, with so many options, including Japanese and Western cuisine, that we couldn't finish it all. We signed up for morning yoga, and started the morning off right in the open space surrounded by greenery on the property, listening to the birds chirping and feeling the breeze, which was a wonderful way to start the day. Next time we visit, we'd like to enjoy a cruise or something similar."

"We stayed here to visit Meoto Iwa (Wedded Rocks) and Mikimoto Pearl Island. We took a bus from Naiku (Inner Shrine) and got off at Futami Sogo Shisho-mae (Futami General Branch Office). It was an easy walk of just a few minutes to the hotel via Family Mart. We also appreciated being able to use the private baths from 3:00 PM without a reservation. We opted for breakfast, and you could choose between Japanese and Western style. Not only was it delicious, but the view from the 10th floor was also fantastic, making for a very pleasant morning. Meoto Iwa was less than a 10-minute walk away. Mikimoto Pearl Island was less than a 20-minute bus ride from the east entrance of Meoto Iwa (though be sure to check the bus schedule as they are infrequent). I'd love to see Meoto Iwa at sunrise (or sunset) and also visit Toba Aquarium, so I'd definitely like to stay here again then."

"As expected from a hotel with such history and tradition, it's truly wonderful. The service is, of course, excellent, and the French dinner was superb. Breakfast is a buffet, and it can feel a bit rushed due to the crowds, but there's plenty to enjoy. The onsen (bath) is a bit of a walk, but it's very good. I was surprised by how many foreigners there were, and it was interesting to see them all wearing yukata and seemingly accustomed to the onsen experience. The photo is of Toba Bay, visible from my room."

"The open-air bath was amazing! The changing room, shower room, and balcony open-air bath were all connected, which was great. The air purifier and the corners of the room were a little rough, but it wasn't too bad. The staff were very helpful and polite when I checked in! There were some shops open until around 10 PM, so I could go for a walk even after relaxing at the hotel! I couldn't go this time, so I'll save it for next time. (T_T) I was shocked that the room service I ordered was cold. The room didn't have a microwave, which was a problem! The food was delicious!! There was also a snack and drink set that looked delicious! Thank you so much!"

"The hotel is easily reachable by car, but if you are using the train, it’s 30/40min by walk or you should jump on a bus. The hotel is clean and comfortable—if you want, you can also book a private bath room for free, which is great. On top of the usual amenities, you can also find different options for shampoo and conditioner (ex. one for damaged hair, etc..)"

The open-air bath was amazing! The changing room, shower room, and balcony open-air bath were all connected, which was great. The air purifier and the corners of the room were a little rough, but it wasn't too bad. The staff were very helpful and polite when I checked in! There were some shops open until around 10 PM, so I could go for a walk even after relaxing at the hotel! I couldn't go this time, so I'll save it for next time. (T_T) I was shocked that the room service I ordered was cold. The room didn't have a microwave, which was a problem! The food was delicious!! There was also a snack and drink set that looked delicious! Thank you so much!

Toba International Hotel Shiojitei was an absolute highlight of our trip. The exceptional service truly stood out, embodying the Japanese spirit of 'omotenashi' from start to finish. This began with the shuttle pick-up from Toba Station, followed by detailed guidance during check-in, and enthusiastic explanations of each dish in the restaurant – every interaction was flawless. The food, featuring local delicacies like Ise Bay seafood and Matsusaka beef, was undeniably delicious and beautifully presented. While you mentioned the portion sizes were 'rather average,' this is typical of kaiseki-style dining; although there are many courses, individual portions are small. For those with larger appetites, it might feel a little insufficient. The hotel facilities are well-maintained, with both the guest rooms and the onsen area (the Pearl Onsen left our skin sparkling!) being spotlessly clean. Overall, it has no obvious weaknesses; the service, dining, and ambiance harmonized perfectly to provide the best hotel experience of our trip.

Our stay at Sun Urashima Yuki no Sato was one of the highlights of our trip to Japan. The room was spacious, beautifully designed, and offered breathtaking views of Toba Bay. Waking up to the peaceful ocean scenery each morning was incredibly relaxing. The onsen was equally impressive—immaculately maintained, soothing, and the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring. The kaiseki dinner and breakfast were exceptional. Every dish showcased the freshness of the local seafood and seasonal ingredients, with each course thoughtfully presented. Dining here wasn’t just a meal—it was an experience. What stood out most was the attention to detail. Every staff member went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable, from the seamless check-in to the thoughtful service throughout our visit. You can genuinely feel the pride they take in providing outstanding hospitality. If you’re looking for an authentic luxury ryokan experience with amazing food, stunning views, and unforgettable service, Sun Urashima Yuki no Sato is absolutely worth the visit. We used this hotel as a family celebration trip. The facilities were beautiful and lovely, but what really impressed us was the warm and wonderful service from the staff. Due to the earthquake in Russia, trains were stopped and we had no means of transportation, but they extended our check-out time and were very accommodating. The food was delicious, and each dish was carefully prepared. The breakfast buffet was also very satisfying, with so many options, including Japanese and Western cuisine, that we couldn't finish it all. We signed up for morning yoga, and started the morning off right in the open space surrounded by greenery on the property, listening to the birds chirping and feeling the breeze, which was a wonderful way to start the day. Next time we visit, we'd like to enjoy a cruise or something similar.

It's a clean and nice hotel. However, the bathrobe-style loungewear is easy to come undone, and the knot hurts when you lie down, which is annoying. It's quite stressful for someone who has come from far away and is tired and finally arrives at the hotel. I look forward to the future. The staff's service is polite and elegant, and the location is very close to the station, so I would like to use it again in the future. Personally, I don't think it's necessary to serve customers with masks. I remember that the WHO also announced that masks are not effective for either coronavirus or influenza. Japan is the only country that is lagging behind in wearing masks, and it has become part of the etiquette at work, but it's scary to serve customers without seeing their faces.

During my recent stay at Hotel R9 at Yard Tsu, I had a mixed experience, resulting in an overall rating of 3 out of 5. While the hotel was generally acceptable, there were some notable drawbacks. One major issue I encountered was the cleanliness of the rooms. I was disappointed to find a significant number of insects on the walls, which was quite unpleasant and off-putting. As a result, I had to deduct points and give it a rating of 3 out of 5 for cleanliness. Additionally, compared to my previous stay at another Hotel R9 location, the price at Yard Tsu was slightly higher. However, it was still within an acceptable range considering the overall quality of the hotel. Despite the drawbacks, I must mention that the hotel's staff were courteous and attentive, providing decent service throughout my stay. In conclusion, while Hotel R9 at Yard Tsu has some room for improvement in terms of cleanliness, its reasonable price and satisfactory service make it an acceptable choice for a short stay. However, I would recommend management to address the cleanliness issue to ensure a more pleasant experience for guests.

Lovely licatiin just connected to Pacific seasude at Yosino ise national park via overbridge .. enjoyed beautiful Sunrise and seranity Moon light evening. Just two minutes walk from a local train station Adawa. Hitel staff was kind enough to search transportation from hotel to Nagoya airport with multiple options. Thus part is truly impressive and attendant of service quality. Was no issue for meaks as jyst walking 3 mins Supermarket and restaurants. Will stay again next trip.

The hotel is easily reachable by car, but if you are using the train, it’s 30/40min by walk or you should jump on a bus. Nearby there are konbinis and a supermarket, which is super useful if you want to eat at the hotel and take advantage of the microwave (there are not a lot of restaurants nearby). The hotel is clean and comfortable—if you want, you can also book a private bath room for free, which is great. On top of the usual amenities, you can also find different options for shampoo and conditioner (ex. one for damaged hair, etc..)

The outdoor unit of the air conditioner was extremely noisy...unfortunately, my stay was not satisfactory. I consulted with the staff, but because the outdoor unit is located next to the bed (by the pillow), the noise from the outdoor unit continues when it's turned on. Also, although my room was on the 8th floor, I could hear people talking in the parking lot. Is this due to the location of the outdoor unit? Perhaps there's a small gap? In other hotels, you shouldn't be able to hear conversations from the parking lot from an 8th-floor room. When I turned off the power because the noise from the outdoor unit was bothersome, the room temperature dropped very quickly... The staff responded quickly and changed my room from the 9th floor to the 8th floor, but unfortunately, both the 9th and 8th floors were plagued by the noise from the outdoor unit and the cold.
