Toyoko hotel is great and next time I visit japan I will still stay in this hotel.

1. The room was exceptionally clean. 2. The air conditioning worked perfectly. 3. The shower and toilet areas were separate, which is always a plus. 4. The location was great, very close to the station, making public transport easily accessible. 5. The breakfast was good, especially the local specialties from Toyama like the fish cakes and eggplant – definitely worth trying. On the downside: The underground parking was a bit inconvenient for getting in and out, and the parking fee was more expensive than commercial parking lots outside the hotel.

This was my first trip to Toyama, and I did a lot of research before booking a hotel. I ended up choosing the Oarks Canal Park Hotel because of its great value for money. The location is incredibly convenient, just a 3-minute walk from Toyama Station. You can also easily walk to Canal Park to visit the famous 'most beautiful Starbucks'. The hotel room was quite spacious and very clean. They clean every three days, but daily cleaning can be arranged if requested. If you opt out of daily cleaning, they still provide fresh bath towels, hand towels, and toothbrushes, along with UCC coffee capsules every day. The room had an excellent view; I loved opening the curtains each morning to a different scenery. The only downside was that they only provided a complimentary bottle of drinking water on the first day of my stay. I had to go to a supermarket near the station every day to buy water. Overall, I was satisfied.

They were consistently professional, polite, and went out of their way to be helpful. Whether it was handling check-in or assisting with local inquiries, their hospitality made me feel truly welcome. ### Room & Amenities The accommodations exceeded my expectations: * **Cleanliness:** The room was spotless and maintained to a very high standard throughout my stay. * **Space:** Unlike many city hotels in Japan, the room felt notably spacious, providing plenty of room to relax and manage luggage. * **Amenities:** Everything you could possibly need was provided. The amenities were thoughtful and complete, ensuring a ”home away from home” feel. ### Unbeatable Location The location is perhaps the hotel's strongest selling point: * **Transport:** It is situated **directly next to Toyama Station**, making it the perfect base for exploring the region or catching the Shinkansen. * **Convenience:** The hotel sits right above a vibrant **shopping mall**. * **Dining:** You are spoiled for choice with **numerous eateries** located just floors below the hotel, offering everything from quick bites to authentic local cuisine. **Verdict:** If you are visiting Toyama, stay here. The combination of professional service, pristine rooms, and a central location makes it the best choice in the city. **Highly recommended!**

Toyama Jiyukan: The Ideal Choice for Comfortable Accommodation and a Convenient Location 🏨🌳 Toyama Jiyukan is a 15-minute walk from Toyama Railway Station. While a bit far, it's close to Togan Park, allowing you to easily enjoy the beauty of nature. The rooms are large, offering ample space and a comfortable stay. Although the hotel facilities are a bit older, I encountered no issues throughout my stay, and the service was excellent. Affordable souvenirs are also available in the lobby, making it easy to bring back some local specialties. Whether you're traveling for business or family, Toyama Jiyukan is a great choice, offering convenience while immersing yourself in local culture and charm! 🌼🛌

I had a wonderful stay at APA Stay Toyama. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located near public transportation. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, and the check-in process was quick and smooth. My room was cozy and well-equipped, with everything I needed for a comfortable visit. I especially appreciated the quiet atmosphere and the excellent value for the price. I would definitely choose APA Stay Toyama again on my next trip to the area.

This hotel is super convenient, just a 5-minute walk from Toyama Station. The front desk staff spoke fluent English, which was a huge plus. But the real highlight was the breakfast – amazing value for money, and they even had sashimi! Plus, there's a famous sushi restaurant right downstairs.

Stayed in a standard twin room for 2 nights. The room is slightly too warm as it operates on a central heating system. The rest of the hotel facilities are excellent. The staff are warm and friendly. If you do not want to have your room made up, they reward you with 2 QR codes which you can use at the vending machine behind the front desk. We chose this hotel as it was a street across the Shirakawago express bus stop operated by the Toyama Chitetsu Bus company. It was really convenient for us to use it to explore Toyama as well as take a day trip to Shirakawago.

Before trip, I think this hotel is located close to Toyama station but I walked from Toyama station to the hotel around 20 minutes (However, this was my own fault for not reading the hotel’s location information carefully). For this hotel, the facilities is very well and various such as public bath, electric body massage machine, vending machine. For the public bath, if you use it during the daytime, you’ll probably get a beautiful view of the Japan Alps surrounding the city. Unfortunately, I used it at night, when it was too dark to see the view.

Honestly, I don't know where to start. I'm completely touched by my experience at this hotel. First, the rooms are clean, big, surrounded by nature, greenery, and a beautiful lake that you can observe for a perfect morning scenery. Secondly, the facilities are top notch! Everything is clean! All facilities are provided to you with great quality; clean floors, perfect white clean towels, the hot spring water is clean, the pools are clean, the shampoo and body wash liquids smell amazing! (Like the baby colon your mother would give you as a child with the blue rounded top!) AMAZING! However, I had a very special interaction with one of the staff who deserves a medal for being so responsible and ensuring that her guest was in good hands. Unfortunately, I got sick one morning while I was checking out. I was having an anxiety / panic attack that made me really disoriented. I didn't feel safe driving afterwards and I requested for the ambulance to be called. The kind and beautiful lady at the front desk handled all my paperwork, and ensured clear communication between doctors and nurses. After getting a physical check at the hospital for 2 hours, the results came back fine. There was no problem at all, however, the lady from the hotel staff was still there to see me out and ensure that I was safe and ok to drive. She was amazing! Thank you a million times for providing a fantastic place to stay, but also for taking great care of me! ( I don't have any pictures of the hotel because pictures aren't allowed to be taken within the hot springs, but trust me when I say, everything looks just as it is in the pictures. ) I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
