"Wonderful Stay – Highly Recommended! Highly Recommended!! One of the most memorable hotel stays I have ever had! The location is absolutely breathtaking, offering stunning views that make the experience even more enjoyable. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional. We got an excellent deal that included both breakfast and dinner, making it great value for money. Everything was perfect, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a fantastic hotel experience!"

"Pros: Quiet and private environment, beautiful scenery, good quality breakfast and room service, good service. Cons: Arrived around 3pm, and waited for a full hour to check in, almost collapsed. The room has no air conditioning and simple facilities. Open bathroom, don't take a shower at night, it will be cold."

"Picture one is the balcony of the room, and the second is the terrace of a restaurant on the side. It is indeed on the mountain. We stayed for one night and didn't go to the main street, otherwise it was not convenient to go back and forth. It is a homestay on the mountain. The two brothers who manage the homestay are very diligent and friendly. The room is not bad. The little brother is very enthusiastic to help us call the bus to Galle the next day (although the customer service phone has been unable to get through, but the little brother is very hard) Slippers and toothbrushes are not provided, basically no one in Sri Lanka, you have to prepare yourself Because we set off early, we didn't go to the rooftop to eat, directly on the second floor of the small table, the little brother prepared breakfast for us early and helped us call the sudden stop at the station."

"Good impressions from the hotel. The room is beautiful, hot water, delicious dinner and breakfast. But, because of the nearby construction, the view from the window is not matched to the photos. But, that does not apply to the hotel."

"The host was extremely helpful."

"A newly opened, truly comfortable and spotlessly clean accommodation in the Ella area. The breakfast is delicious, and the hotel owners have thought of everything for your comfort. I was very pleased and will definitely stay here again if I'm ever in the area."

"Honestly, if I hadn't found this hotel, I might have given up on Ella. There are so many ugly little guesthouses in Ella that I really didn't want to stay in. Turns out, I made the right choice! The hotel has excellent aesthetics; although it's not large, every detail is exquisite. The balcony is absolutely stunning! It perfectly matches the secluded scenery I had imagined! The pool is especially beautiful, and there are even net hammocks to lounge in! The hotel isn't accessible by car, so you'll need to transfer to a tuk-tuk. Just contact the hotel in advance."

"Keeping in mind this is a 3 star hotel, the positives are the rooms are big with a balcony looking out at amazing views (ours anyway), and the pool is clean and quite big also with amazing views and a concrete elephant water feature!!! The location of the hotel is pretty good too - far enough from other properties to be quiet but close enough to Ella main drag that you can walk in 10-15 minutes or pay a tuk tuk driver double the rate of Colombo to get to and from. The big negative for us was that despite being told upon checking in that the room would be cleaned every day, it was not. And I was told the reason why was that we didn’t hand in our key for it to be done - which seems bizarre after staying in hotels for decades and not being told to or having to hand in a key in order to get a standard daily room clean. The insinuation that it was our fault for not handing in a key (not that we were told to do so on checking in) was extremely irritating. Food was ok but overpriced so we ate elsewhere (lots of options). There were lots of little things in the rooms that could be easily addressed to make them nicer - definitely not having ripped old bath towels, and removing an empty TV bracket from the wall (like a TV used to be there but not anymore - or was it just our room, who knows). All these little things add up to I really think the room rate is too high - but we are here in the high season so maybe that’s just the going rate."
