"Excellent location right by the river with a beautiful view of the opposite bank. It's also very convenient being close to the river tour pier. The reception service was top-notch; not only were they polite, but they also anticipated guests' needs. The breakfast buffet offered a wide and generous selection. However, there weren't enough staff, so during busy times, table clearing was quite slow, and guests had to wait patiently."

"4🌟 stay at Riverside Majestic Hotel Astana Wing for 4D3N. Overall, it was a comfortable stay with very friendly and helpful staff throughout our trip. Housekeeping also did a good job with room cleanliness and bed arrangement daily. One of the best parts of the stay was the beautiful view overlooking the Kuching Waterfront. The sunset view from the room was really nice and relaxing, especially during the evening. Breakfast had quite a good variety. During our 4D3N stay, the live stall consistently served Laksa Sarawak and Kolomee, which was a nice local touch. The salad section and some hot dishes were changed daily as well, so breakfast did not feel too repetitive. However, for a 4-star hotel, there are still quite a number of maintenance details that need improvement. On our first night, we faced an issue with the air-conditioning not being cold enough. After informing the front counter, the staff responded well and arranged a room change for us. The second room had much better air-conditioning. Another small point for improvement is the room amenities. Coffee and tea were only replenished on the first day of check-in and not refilled during the following days. Overall, still a pleasant stay with good service from the team, but the hotel facilities and maintenance can definitely be improved further."

"Kids were extremely excited with the surprise wish card on the bed and room deco. The room is superb, clean, great outdoor view, huge mirror with lights, various tv channel, and enough space to place our luggage. Sajadah is clean, lots of hangers, cute bottles in the toilet and drinking water provided. Definitely will repeat to stay here if we go to kuching."

"Amamas Boutique Hotel Kuching is very convenient, there is pharmacy just beside the hotel, Incase if you need anything you can just go buy stuff, and there is a bakery shop too. Most awesome is that there is a 24/7 foodcourt around for us at anytime to have your meal, and clinic is walking distance too, everytime I go to Kuching, this is my chosen hotel."

GGuest UserHad a wonderful 2-night stay at Pullman Miri Waterfront. The hotel was clean, modern and well maintained. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and spotless, with a great bathroom and comfortable beds. The staff were friendly and professional with smooth check-in and check-out process. The facilities were excellent, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing. Great value for money and definitely recommend staying here again when visiting Miri.

I like the view, safety, facilities, the TV functions, i can karaoke on my own using TV YouTube hehe Bathroom is nice. set with toothbrush and etc King size bed with affordable price. What else should I need for my beautiful place to rest after a long pack weekday work. For sure, I will stay here again. One more thing, the breakfast is marvellous.

I chose to celebrate my birthday there, and the team went above and beyond to make it special. A heartfelt thank you to I-Rene Saw, the Guest Experience Manager, and her wonderful team for their thoughtful arrangements. They beautifully decorated the room, surprised me with a birthday cake, and put us to a newly renovated room. These small yet meaningful gestures made a big difference and created a warm, celebratory atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay — the service was attentive, the room was comfortable and modern, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations. DDik FaiJust arrived at the hotel and was informed that there was ongoing water pipe repair work outside, which caused a temporary water disruption during the daytime. We couldn’t shower or wash our hands for a while, which was quite inconvenient. Thankfully, the water supply returned to normal again in the evening. Front desk staff were still very polite and helpful throughout the situation. We booked the Deluxe Single Room, and the king-sized bed was very comfortable and spacious, enough for us two adults and our 2yo child, with plenty of extra space. However, the bed felt slightly damp when we first arrived, but it became better later at night. The hotel also has a family pool and direct beach access, which makes it a great place for families with kids to relax and unwind. The buffet breakfast menu was also quite rich with plenty of choices.

AAnonymous UserThe room facilities were okay, but the ac definitely needs improvement. When we checked into the room, the fan was already on. After switching the fan off, we noticed that the air conditioner was not cooling the room properly and it felt quite warm. We ended up sleeping with only the fan running throughout the night, which was disappointing as we did not expect such an experience. 😓 We checked the air conditioner ourselves and confirmed that it was switched on and set to the correct temperature. We also noticed that the lobby air conditioning was extremely cold, so there seemed to be a significant difference compared to our room. We reported the issue to the front desk, but were informed that the room air conditioner was functioning well. Unfortunately, this was not our experience, and it affected our overall comfort during the stay.

JJ the PenguinRoom is clean and comfortable. If you need to know, the pillows are the fluffiest that’ll support your spine in your sleep. A few non functioning locks (toilet) and drawers (fridge) but nothing too major that affects stay experience. The air conditioner's outdoor unit was right on the balcony, which was handy for drying clothes, but it made a bit of noise at night. There were no complimentary toothbrushes, but you could get two for free at the front desk. The phone was broken, and the towels were a brownish-red color, so it was hard to tell if they were clean or dirty.

SSerene_lanThe hotel ambiance exudes old-money charm. During my stay, I even had the pleasure of seeing their Sultan King. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The hotel's location is excellent, said to be in the best 'feng shui' spot, feeling grand and impressive. It directly faces the river, and in the evenings, it's very convenient to stroll along the riverside to Marina Bay Sands. The only issue was that the air conditioning wasn't cooling when I checked in, but it was resolved after I reported it. Later that night, I discovered the shower gel dispenser was nearly empty, and no product would come out. Then, the shower drain clogged, quickly flooding the entire bathroom during my quick shower. The hotel does show some signs of aging facilities, but everything else was great.

KKING HUNG TINGRoom 811, malfunction outdoor A/C unit, only have hot air. Around 9pm no more hot water supply, only have cool water, can't take a bath in the bathtub. Smell dusty carpet. Moved to room 713, everything is fine, just a broken TV screen, and this room only has a shower, no bathtub... Morning breakfast have white rice, mee goreng, chicken hot dog, meat roll, hard chicken kicap and red baked bean. Other row, orange juice, apple juice, warm water and cool water. Another row, croissant, muffin, white bread, golden bread, jam n coffee n tea. N the worst part is the iban female chef or kitchen helper who fry the egg, her dealing bad attitude toward all customer, when order egg, She always said Can u wait?! Don't order if you can't wait!!! Still have five more people order to cook!!! Then the customer ordered, she didn't take note of the order and give the queue number or place the plate in order. She worked in a chaotic state, due to no proper SOP and managing her order or pre making food in order. Need to audit her way to manage order. After I waited 25 min, I goto take my 2 pcs egg order, but she missing 1 pcs egg, when I ask politely can I have another egg order, then she get mad at me, scolding me I didn't order 2 pcs egg at first, but I said I had told her 2 pcs egg before, then she shut up. After I take the egg to my table, I hear she mumbles in Bahasa Iban said that Chinese Pig only knows... then smaller voice I don't know what she said. I turned and I saw no one beside her, definitely not talking to anyone... The whole breakfast time was good, but the staff had a bad attitude and ruined our mood to have a good experience... Suggestion: If the egg cooking station is too hard to manage, just put half boiled eggs and hard boiled egg at there, then make a big batch of scrambled or omelette and put it in a tray. The image of a professional chef preparing the fresh food, is failed by that bad attitude staff. Just save some money from hiring that staff and cook good food for customer.
