I chose this hotel for a business trip for a conference. The hotel room is very comfortable and the environment is very good. The hotel staff is warm and thoughtful. Takeaway can be delivered directly to the room, which is very convenient. When checking in, Miss Wang Yingying at the front desk helped to upgrade the room and introduced local snacks and places to play around. If there are any problems, they can be solved in time. Our butler, Xiao Wang, provided excellent service. He contacted us by phone a day in advance. Since the hotel is located in the desert and inaccessible by car, Xiao Wang sent us the parking address beforehand and promptly picked us up in his SUV upon our arrival. Late October in the Tengger Desert is already quite cold, so Xiao Wang upgraded us to a family tent, saying it would provide an extra blanket. He also prepared a heater in advance, which, combined with the electric blankets on the beds, made the tent quite cozy.

This self-guided desert tour is absolutely amazing! The desert scenery is majestic and magnificent, and the afterglow of the setting sun shines on the golden sand dunes, as beautiful as a painting. The campsite facilities are complete and the staff are warm and caring. The food is diverse, the roasted whole lamb is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and the aroma is overflowing. Camel riding, sand boarding and other activities are super exciting. Moreover, the self-guided itinerary is free and allows you to deeply experience the charm of the desert. The hotel is right next to various sand dunes, making sand play incredibly convenient! Adults sunbathe in the fine sand, while kids jump on trampolines during the day and dig in the sand until 10 pm, reluctant to go to sleep – they didn't want to leave! The evening bonfire party was even more lively. We danced the bunny hop with the MC, watched fireworks to music, and enjoyed the atmosphere immensely – so relaxing and fun! The owner and staff provided excellent service, always ready to help. The owner even personally drove all the guests' children to the sandboarding area, which the kids loved. The campsite itself was beautiful, especially at night when all the lights were on – it was truly stunning. Highly recommend this trip!

The bedding was brand new, clean, crisp, soft, and gentle on the skin. Both the pillows and mattress were perfectly comfortable, ensuring a deep and restful sleep. We were very warmly welcomed by the staff and check in went super smooth. We got lots of information and it’s easy to communicate via the hotels WeChat. The staff didn’t speak so much English, but this was not any problem with translating apps and the translate function in WeChat. The staff felt us feel very welcome and they stood out as very professional and service minded. We have travelled a lot and the staff of Huanghe Xiyu hotel made a solid impression. The room was spacious and modern. It was very clean and nice. Good windows which could be opened. It also has mosquito nets. There were plenty water, a couple of complementary soft drinks and drip coffee and tea. Comfortable beds and several choices of pillows. The gym was also good. The breakfast was very good. Nice selections of diffferent items. Tasty and fresh. We enjoyed freshly made noodles and dumplings. The staff in the restaurant was very friendly and service minded too. Overall a very good experience which we do recommended.
