We loved the position of this hotel - right on the doorstep of the magnificent ancient city but out of the tourist path. It was delightful to wander through the ruins on our own and feel the history there without the crowds of the other towns. Our room was clean and beautifully presented and Mutti and his collegues organised everything we needed at a great price from scooter hire to our airport bus. The view of the balloons from our balcony at 5am is something we will never forget. We would definitely stay again.

The hotel is located in the quiet town of Uçhisar, which is much calmer than Göreme, and very close to Uçhisar Castle. The staff were very welcoming and upgraded our room upon check-in. The breakfast was generous, with different surprises every day. The owner is very proficient with WeChat and will reconfirm hot air balloon bookings and airport transfers via the app, so those who are not fluent in English or are a bit shy can book with confidence.

The hospitality can be benchmark against a five star hotel. they are like a family franchise full of love and joy. I am very satisfied with the accommodation.
Stayed here the first night of our trip. I booked because it’s the closest hotel to NAV airport that I can find for the price.
But after staying, it’s not just the location, everything is so fine!
We had dinner there the night we arrived. for just 300 local currency, you get a few dishes: a set with meatball, salad, stuffed leave, soup and dessert, and ravioli. (enough to feed 3 people while it’s just the two or us). the breakfast is awesome too with fabulous view.
The hotel is also close to a shopping mall and big supermarket.
I would recommend anyone coming here

It was one of the most pleasant shop hotels we have stayed in Kapadokya. Mayda Hotel's location in the center of Uçhisar is really very private, with a view and a peaceful atmosphere. The room was perfect for cleaning, decoration and breakfast. I would also like to thank the company's owner, Batuhan Bey, who is particularly interested in his fineness. Thanks to both hospitality and the attention he has shown to every detail, we felt like in our home. When we come back to Kapadokya, we will definitely be the Mayda Hotel again. 🌿✨

Had a very comfortable stay! The environment was excellent, and the main thing was that the owner was incredibly patient and communicative, helping us with all our needs. The breakfast was also delicious. Highly recommend this hotel!

This was an absolutely beautiful and wonderful hotel. While cave hotels offer a unique charm, for families with children, considering the comfortable room environment and excellent hotel services, this particular hotel comes highly recommended. Even with many families present, the hotel maintains a quiet and peaceful atmosphere, allowing you to truly relax and enjoy your stay. The meals were superb – both lavish and healthy! The staff's service was impeccable. You can even watch the hot air balloons from the hotel entrance, and by just crossing the road, you can capture truly amazing photos of them. This is a hotel I wholeheartedly recommend. Thank you. I definitely want to come back again.

We loved staying here and highly recommend if you want a good view good food good people and nice places to stay .
Friendly people to talk to and really amazing breakfast with a stunning view the shelf and the lady at reception were really kind and made our food with love .

While cave hotels are pricey due to their unique location and history, one night's stay is usually sufficient to get the full experience. The front desk staff and servers were all incredibly warm and friendly. The lady in the kitchen even shared some freshly baked sweet pastries with us, which made us feel very much at home. Some rooms offer views of the hot air balloons taking off in the morning. However, whether they fly is subject to daily conditions, and cancellations are quite common. (We stayed for two days; they flew on the first day but not the second.)

Loved loved loved my stay at Cappadocia Pyramid Stone House. Uchisar is such a peaceful, quaint little town in Cappadocia and the hotel reflected this. I stayed for 5 nights and found it to be super comfortable and the staff are truly amazing, genuine people. There is also an incredible Turkish breakfast every morning at 9am (though they can fix something earlier if need be) and it was one of the highlights of my trip, such good food and a great way to start the day.

AAnonymous UserThe room is ready when we arrived at 5pm. The room is clean, there are 1 queen bed and 2 single beds which able to accomodate the 5 of us. The hotel is beautiful. They served you many options of food for breakfast. The most important thing, they allowed us to leave our luggages while we completing the tour and wait for the airport transfer to come and fetch us.

The hotel has a wonderful view. We stayed in a cave room, and its design and atmosphere were very authentic. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They also helped us book a hot air balloon flight and a regional tour at a better price than the online rates.

Rooftop view is amazing both for sunset and sunrise viewing balloons. They also have nice set up for pictures.

SSeanThe first room had a damaged shower head. They moved us to another room no questions asked. Breakfast was a great Turkish spread. With a hot omelette or traditional pie or donut. Absolute treat and great value. Mineral water and Chai tea on tap all day. Internet was perfect to take video meetings with colleagues in the USA and Europe. Location is away from the noise of Goreme, directly under the hotair balloons every morning. Incredible view from the rooftop terrace. Rooms are perfect, comphy bed, crisp sheets, brilliant water pressure! Staff are great! They even invited me to sit and have lunch with them one day. Delicious lemon cake. I asked for two of each Turkish coin, I'm collecting for my niece and nephew. Esra from the front desk found me all of the coins. Ever the scarce 1c and 5c, she even looked in her purse and tip jar for the 10c we couldn't find. Everyone gave the exact same service. On morning three I didn't even order a Double Turkish coffee with less sugar. One for the staff, knew and brought it for me. These guys get it. They know service and it's a treat. The price is oddly low. Incredible value. There is an epic hiking trail that starts in their back yard and goes all the way up the mountain and back down through the spectacular sand caps and dramatic Turkish landscape.

YYee11We had an amazing stay at Divan Cave House! The hotel sits on a quiet hill in Göreme with beautiful panoramic views of the town and hot air balloons at sunrise. The cave rooms were spacious, clean, and full of character, blending traditional charm with modern comfort. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful — always ready to assist with balloon bookings, transfers, and local recommendations. Breakfast was lovely, with a wide selection of fresh items served on the rooftop terrace, where you can also enjoy a perfect view of the balloons in the morning. The location is excellent — just a short walk to the town center, restaurants, and shops, yet far enough for peace and quiet. The cave atmosphere felt truly authentic and cozy, especially in the cool October weather. Highly recommend Divan Cave House for anyone visiting Cappadocia — it’s a warm, welcoming, and memorable stay that captures the spirit of the region perfectly.

This hotel is very good value, not expensive, clean, and beautifully decorated. The atmosphere is relaxing and makes me want to come back again. The location is great, easy to travel around and find food. Our hot air balloon ride was canceled, so I asked if they could quickly arrange an alternative activity for us. They immediately sorted it out, which I'm incredibly grateful for, as I would have struggled to find something myself. We ended up having a fantastic experience. The room was also clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. If I ever have the chance to visit again, I would love to stay at this hotel.

Abdulzar was an excellent host and front desk. He could adjust my itinerary intelligently- showed me how to get to the 2 things I wanted to see via public daily bus/ avoiding tour like feel. Truly helpful and hospitable. The sleep in a cave room- warm cosy low ceiling maybe resulted in one of the best sleep Ihave experienced. So relaxed after a nice pottery kebab meal. çok teşekkür ederim.
