"Staying at Crowne Plaza Changbaishan Hot Spring Hotel offers a one-stop solution for dining, entertainment, and relaxation! This was my first time in Changbaishan, and choosing a hot spring hotel was an incredibly smart decision 😁 The hotel is right by the North Gate (Old Gate), just a 3-minute walk away, which is super convenient. This gate is exclusively for hotel guests, so there are very few people. You need to book your tickets 7 days in advance via WeChat Mini Program. The hotel front desk will issue a paper voucher, and you can enter at your reserved time. The shuttle bus takes you directly to the transfer center. For the return journey, you'll go to the new North Gate, and the hotel provides a shuttle service there too. All in all, it's extremely convenient! The hotel lobby has direct access to the hot springs, and you can enter as many times as you like during your stay. Soaking in the hot springs after a hike is just incredibly comfortable 😜 The Garden Restaurant on the first floor offers a rich buffet breakfast. For dinner, they have hot pot sets that are great value for money. Coming back from hiking to a warm hot pot is simply delightful! The hotel's back garden has pets for viewing. The alpacas are plump, and the sika deer are very friendly and super cute! Our stay included two activity options: off-road vehicle and cable car sightseeing (at Heping Ski Resort) and adventure溪溯 (at Julong Volcanic Pumice Forest Cold Spring). Both were excellent! You need to book one day in advance, and the hotel provides a paper voucher and arranges transportation. The scenery was stunning, we had a fantastic time, and took many amazing photos 🤗 The hotel assigned us a dedicated butler who was responsible for our entire stay. They communicated with us in advance to arrange high-speed rail pick-up and drop-off, and reminded us of various important details. This made our stay effortless and worry-free, and the overall experience was superb!"

"Traveling to Jilin with two kids, we chose the World Trade Markham Hotel, and overall, we were very satisfied with our stay. The hotel is right by the Songhua River, and opening the window in our high-floor room offered a magnificent river view – the kids were absolutely thrilled looking out. The room was spacious, the bedding comfortable, and they even provided children's slippers, which was a thoughtful touch. Breakfast had a rich variety of options, including many that the kids enjoyed. The heated swimming pool was the biggest surprise; after a day of sightseeing, taking the kids for a swim helped us relax and shake off the travel fatigue. The location is convenient for getting around and dining. The service was prompt and responsive. Staying here with two kids was stress-free and comfortable, making it perfect for a family trip."

"One of the highlights of my National Day trip to Changbai Mountain this year was staying at the Jinhua Hotel! During my stay, I was incredibly well taken care of by our butler, Tutu, every day. It truly felt like a home away from home. Before my arrival, Tutu held a room for me as I was arriving late and even upgraded me to an executive breakfast. On the day I checked in, they brought me some snacks, and on my birthday, they surprised me with a cake. The night before I left, I received a Proya skincare set. I was traveling alone, but it felt like I was surrounded by familiar warmth. A huge thank you again to Tutu! It's rare to find a hotel with such attentive and heartwarming staff; this alone makes it stand out from other hotels. The hotel's environment is also notably convenient and elegant. It's right next to the only snack street and entertainment area in Wanda Resort, making dining, drinking, and entertainment incredibly easy. Especially in the evening, when the ambient lights come on, it feels like stepping into a dreamy fairy tale. It's bustling yet peaceful, with unique and beautiful scenery. It's a shame that the long holiday flew by so quickly. I was truly sad to leave and plan to come back for a spring or winter holiday. I'll definitely stay here again, and I wish Butler Tutu all the best in their career and happiness every day!"

"Our stay at the Yanji Dinosaur Hot Spring Hotel was such a pleasant surprise! The family room was incredibly well-decorated and thoughtful, with a large slide right inside the room. Our child absolutely loved it and didn't want to leave. The hotel environment is also fantastic; lush and green during the day, and beautifully lit up at night. The lobby design is grand and dreamy. Being right next to Dinosaur Kingdom makes it a perfect one-stop destination for family fun and vacation. Highly recommend to all parents!"

"Erdaobaihe Town is about 2 kilometers away from the bustling downtown area with many restaurants, making it convenient to get to Enduoli and Yunding Market. Food delivery is also easy to order, with robots delivering right to your door. Mermaid Pine Park is just across the street. The room facilities and decor are quite good, and the hygiene is excellent. The breakfast looks abundant, but in reality, the variety isn't particularly wide, though the taste is decent. A highlight of the hotel is its hot springs. Besides being free for guests, they also welcome external visitors, so there's a fair amount of foot traffic. The hot springs feature indoor pools on the first and second floors. On the third or fourth floor (I can't recall which), there are many saunas and various themed relaxation rooms, including stone, mugwort, and traditional Chinese medicine saunas with different temperatures. The fifth floor has an outdoor swimming pool area. The management is quite mature; the whole process of getting a hand tag, changing shoes, changing clothes, and returning the tag is very smooth and convenient. Visually, the hygiene also seems good. There are several attentive aunties in the changing rooms who actively guide you. There are small spin dryers in the changing rooms, which are handy. If you rinse your swimsuit and use the dryer, it will dry much faster. Overall, the experience was very good. If you choose to stay in Erdaobaihe, this place offers good facilities and hot springs to enjoy."

"This hotel is an excellent choice for a trip to Changbai Mountain! It's a 30-minute drive to the West Scenic Area, where you can explore the Grand Canyon, go rafting, and more. The hotel is right next to the Wanda Resort, making dining, entertainment, and shopping incredibly convenient. Plus, they offer complimentary perks like cable car rides, alpine slides, and hot springs access. The decor is grand and impressive, and the room layout is well-designed. I especially want to commend them for adding dispensers for shampoo and shower gel in the bathroom, which ensures hygiene and safety from the source – other hotels should definitely take a cue from this! Even before check-in, our butler Tina proactively reached out and was super helpful in coordinating our itinerary and room arrangements. The front desk staff was also very friendly. The mountain view from our room was delightful and pleasant. Hyatt truly lives up to its reliable brand name!"

"The room was quite spacious and had three beds. Our family of three lived very comfortably. The bedding was very clean. The staff was very enthusiastic and helped solve various problems. The breakfast was delicious, especially the freshly ground coffee and noodles. The location is also good, opposite the Eurasian Shopping Center, it is very convenient to buy something."

"The pool offers a great variety of features, really making you want to jump in. However, some guests were smoking by the poolside, and they should be directed to the designated smoking areas more promptly. There weren't many hot spring pools, but they were adequate. The water pump in the ”Doctor Fish” pool was too strong, and there were very few fish. After five or six people sat down, it would take more than 3 minutes to see any fish. I suggest adjusting the pump's intensity. The various hotel-organized activities showed excellent planning, especially the beautiful fireworks display. Our butler was very professional and helpful when we needed assistance. They genuinely considered the customer's perspective rather than just mechanically processing requests, which deserves high praise! Perhaps due to the hotel being over ten years old, the facilities in my room showed some aging. I recommend regular, staggered checks of things like the sink drainage, shower water pressure, toilet flush, and electrical outlet looseness. The decor's classic, palatial style was quite appealing to my family, but the facilities shouldn't feel dilapidated. Even minor issues with key facilities can significantly impact the guest experience. The breakfast buffet was good, but there was only one coffee machine, often leading to queues. The coffee machine's water tank also needed more timely maintenance. The charging stations are a 20-minute walk from the lobby, and the superchargers incur an occupancy fee of 0.5 per minute after charging is complete. This is very inconvenient for guests with hybrid cars who need to charge. Having to walk over 30 minutes round trip for an hour of charging can easily deter guests from charging. I suggest introducing slow-charging stations. Finally, the service staff in the hot spring pools and changing rooms had a somewhat rigid attitude, which I hope will be improved."

My room was upgraded to the 43rd-floor penthouse, offering magnificent views where both sunrise and sunset were beautiful. Downstairs, there's the Peony Garden, home to historical buildings like the Shenwu Hall. This trip back to Changchun was for Jilin University's 80th anniversary. During my stay, I also visited the Museum of the Imperial Palace of Manchukuo, the Former Manchukuo Central Bank, Jilin Provincial Museum, FAW Museum, Changchun Zoological and Botanical Park, and an improv comedy show at 'This Mountain'. Stepping into the Hyatt Regency Changchun, the HYATT REGENCY illuminated sign stands quietly amidst the light and shadows of cascading metal installations. This exemplifies Hyatt's standard urban flagship style, yet it's deeply imprinted with Changchun's unique cultural essence. As a high-end benchmark in Changchun's core business district, it's more than just a place to stay; it's a resting oasis for understanding this renowned modern historical city. Lobby: Artistic Narrative, Enveloping the Northeastern Landscape within the Space The hotel lobby is spacious and grand, with warm and substantial marble flooring. The visual focal point is two large art installations. Suspended woven spherical sculptures, tethered by fine steel cables, resemble seeds nurtured by the earth, symbolizing the endless vitality of the 'black land'. On the corridor wall, the 'Source · Migration' artwork, composed of countless reddish-brown circles, depicts the migration patterns of ancient tribes, condensing the human origins of the Northeast onto the wall. The overall space primarily uses natural wood and stone, creating a warm and steady ambiance that mitigates the often cold and rigid feel of luxury hotels. High ceilings, layered lighting, and large glass windows allow natural light to pour in, bringing the clear northern sky indoors. The design avoids excessive ornamentation, instead integrating regional art into a modern minimalist design. Each artwork tells a story, making a stroll through the hotel feel like wandering through a miniature city art museum. Dining Experience: Blending Local Flavors with International Buffet The hotel's buffet restaurant was a major surprise during this trip. The interior uses wooden columns and circular chandeliers to create a warm and relaxed dining atmosphere. The layout is clear, accommodating both open seating and semi-private booths, as well as sofa areas suitable for casual gatherings. Art decorations on the walls add a lively touch. The breakfast selection is rich, featuring Western cold cuts, baked goods, and fresh fruits, while also deeply rooted in Northeastern flavors. A bowl of minced meat noodles is richly fragrant, complemented by tofu pudding, Northeastern stews, and local specialty side dishes. Fresh fruits and freshly squeezed juices provide a refreshing balance. The ingredients are consistently high quality, and the flavors are authentic and unpretentious, preserving the local culinary essence. You don't need to travel far to savor the flavors of the North within the hotel. The dining environment is quiet and comfortable, and the morning sun streaming into the restaurant makes it a perfect moment to enjoy a leisurely meal. Ambiance and Hardware As a Hyatt Regency property, positioned for both urban business and leisure, the hardware quality is excellent. Extensive use of wood veneer in public areas and warm-toned design mitigates the harshness of winter in the North, with meticulous attention to lighting and shadows. The flow in public areas is smooth, from the lobby lounge and art gallery to the restaurant, offering changing views perfect for short stays, work, or casual relaxation. The lobby lounge is the soul of the hotel, with gigantic cascading metal decorative columns as its visual centerpiece. Outside the floor-to-ceiling windows are lush green trees, and inside, sofas and a bar are arranged intermittently. Sitting here, one can experience Hyatt's signature refined atmosphere, finding tranquility amidst the city's hustle and bustle. Location and Travel Value The hotel is conveniently located in the core urban area of Changchun, offering easy access to historical buildings like the Eight Ministries of Manchukuo and Shenwu Hall. Just like this trip, during the day, I explored modern historical architecture, and in the evening, I returned to the Hyatt to relax in the hotel's art spaces, completing a dialogue between history and modernity. The hotel itself becomes an integral part of a Changchun city tour. Outside, Japanese palace-style historical buildings, with red gates and gray tiles, stand quietly beneath the clear blue sky; inside the hotel is a modern, light-luxury sanctuary. An ancient and a modern, looking at each other across time and space – this is the unique travel experience of staying at Hyatt Regency Changchun. Hyatt Regency Changchun is not a cookie-cutter luxury hotel. Check-in and check-out were efficient and quick, with no long waits at all. They were patient and meticulous when answering questions, and proactively provided important hotel information. When a small issue arose, they responded quickly, offering thoughtful and attentive service. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and I had a great stay.
