"I had a good stay with my girlfriend at The Tytherington. The only thing we were unhappy with was the food. It took about 1 hour to receive our food, and we were also told different information about the Kitchen closure time. Likely, we could give our order on time, but someone who was served after us was not able to. It seemed that on the day we visited, the kitchen staff was either short-staffed or had other issues. The staff behind the counter looked inexperienced, with only 1 or 2 who knew what to do, though they had too much to do already and couldn't assist. The view from their garden was great, over their golf pitch."

"Put into a disabled room ,  Television not working properly dropping signal every 5 minutes , they did say they would come back but was getting late and we was getting settled  Shower , drain making a horrendous noise AC not working properly wouldn’t drop below 16 took a long time for the room to drop temperature"

"This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel, and our choice was primarily due to its convenient location and excellent breakfast. It is very close to the airport and very quiet at night, surrounded by farms and grassland. We love the breakfast because it is not a typical buffet. Instead, you can choose from a menu with a great variety of options, all of which taste wonderful. The restaurant's decoration is also lovely, and you will be more than satisfied with the portions. The restaurant staff are passionate, friendly, and helpful. One point to note is that the reception area often has guests around, which is just an observation and neither positive nor negative. The receptionists always do their best and are very nice and professional. However, the room design is a bit outdated."

I expected a more hospitable reception, especially given the hotel’s reputation. **Room Quality:** On a positive note, the room was clean and well-appointed, featuring a lovely spacious bathroom that included a plush robe and complimentary toiletries such as shampoo and soap. I appreciated the mini bar, which had complimentary water, adding a nice touch to my stay. **Room Service:** One downside was the room service hours, which ended at 10 PM. I arrived at 8:15 PM and was informed of this limitation, which felt a bit early for a hotel of this caliber. It would have been nice to have more flexible dining options during my stay. **Dining:** The hotel itself is stunning, and the grounds are a joy to explore. I had breakfast at the brasserie restaurant, where the attentive staff made a significant difference. The breakfast was wonderful, with a variety of delicious options that set a positive tone for my day. **Overall Impression:** While my stay had its ups and downs, the beautiful setting and the quality of the accommodations were highlights. I hope that the service experience can be improved for future guests, as that would truly elevate the stay. I would consider returning, especially for the lovely grounds and excellent breakfast, but I would hope for a more welcoming atmosphere next time."

"Welcoming staff, comfortable bed and spacious room, excellent leisure and spa facilities including a relaxation suite which was true to its word, plus a jacuzzi cave, like something from Alice in Wonderland, topped with the hottest steam room ive been in for years. Pool long but jot that wide for serious swimmers."

"Located by the highway with plenty of free parking, making it very car-friendly. It's a short drive to Chester Zoo and the historic town. They offer a proper English breakfast, and the rooms are clean. There's a large shopping and entertainment center about a ten-minute drive away. Highly recommend for those traveling by car."

"No problem with food. The location was excellent. I arrived in the morning, so I had my luggage checked in, but when I checked in, it was very quick and I already had my luggage in my room. Overall it was a satisfying stay."

"I took my wife here for her 60th, amazing staff receptionist charlotte was warm and knowledgable, very kind giving us a token due to birthday. The infinity pool is amazing warm clean, Shrigley would make much more money if they served drinks while in the pool, but we would still be there now. The rooms are adiquate they are clean, the shower's are amazing, Dinning for evenning meal again was excellent, the service is 11/10 and I have been in a number of Spa the meal cost were really well priced with excellent food. Breakfast in the morning self service again pleanty to choose from and again tasty with great choice. It is a amazing spa with the ability toplay gold or have a number of treatments, and well priced, I will return there"

"We found the facilities and service excellent. Breakfast was good with a fair choice on the buffet. We had a bar meal which was a good standard, burger and fish and chips, with s good selection of drinks. We did have a problem with the room we were given due to traffic noise, being too hot and it was a disabled bathroom which meant the sink was too low for us. A big thank you to reception staff Carolin and her colleague who gladly managed to get us moved into another quieter room with aircon it was much appreciated. All the staff on reception in the bar and breakfast room were excellent. The hotel on the canalside is only a few minutes away from the city centre and many restaurants and bars."

"Really lovely surrounding of the old boating houses and Boat Museum Easy to get to and a 5 min drive to Cheshire Oaks and only 30mins to Liverpool Centre The hotel is clean and up to date with a proper leisure facility too. Breakfast was all you could want and quality was excellent too A great hotel for a bargain price through Trip.com"
