Spent five nights here at around Easter time, visiting my relatives living nearby. Hotel is a hidden gem - really beautiful, ancient, quiet; with magnificent panoramic view of Rome, esp at night. Staff are all very nice, friendly and provide help whenever required. Breakfast is fine, not much in variety but for me it's good enough. will certainly come again when I next visit Rome/grottaferrata.

A convenient hotel for visiting the Vatican. The hotel is small, the room is comfortable. A great big bed. The room we had was without a window but with our own outlet to the patio where there was a table with chairs and you could smoke. The only glass wall of this patio went out into the hotel hall. We stayed for one night, it didn't embarrass us. We are very glad that we managed to sleep thanks to the mattress and pillows. It was our third hotel in Rome, there is something to compare. Breakfast was better. But the wonderful cook kindly cooked our eggs than saved the situation.

my family had a perfect moment. The hotel was clean and the staff were really kind to us.
The interior was awesome (perfect for taking SNS photos)
while we were staying at the hotel, a local party was hosted. Fortunately, we were able to
experience the party. it was the best moment of our trip.

The two main beds were relatively clean. However, the sofa bed was dirty and didn't have a mattress. Linens weren't replaced during our stay; we had to get fresh towels and trash bags from the front desk ourselves. It felt very much like a self-service arrangement. I hadn't experienced this kind of accommodation before and found it hard to get used to.
Check-in was incredibly slow, taking over an hour, which was quite inconvenient.
While it's a bit far from the city center, the transportation is good, and there's a large supermarket right across the street, which was a plus. The airport shuttle bus also stops directly opposite, which was very convenient.

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel and overall my experience was excellent. The location is very convenient, close to public transportation, restaurants, and main attractions, which made traveling around the city easy and comfortable. The room was clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with all the necessary amenities for a relaxing stay. The bed was comfortable, and the room was quiet, allowing me to rest well after a long day.
The hotel staff were extremely friendly, professional, and always ready to help with any questions or requests. Check-in and check-out processes were smooth and fast. It’s a bit of hot when I registered, and I have tried to turn on the air conditioner, but it didn’t work. I called the reception desk saying the air conditioner can’t work, she said the temperature was not too high and suggested me open the window if I felt hot. And she still told me the air conditioner would work at night…actually, the air conditioner didn’t work at night also. Meanwhile, the WiFi is terrible in my room. It can’t connect with internet although it looked like have been connected. And it’s funny that the WiFi run well when I was out of my room.

The best hotel I've tied up in Europe.
The early 1900s modeled aristocratic mansions, warm and all the interior facilities are up-to-date electronic. Air conditioning is air-conditioned/heated, and uses Samsung.
And you can see the beach right on the terrace.
Best choice if you want to feel the nostalgia of Italian nobles with the latest equipment.

Great location although not in the center of town. Ample private parking on site. Hotel restaurant was very good, and reasonably priced and service was excellent. The staff was helpful with directions and needs. The fitness center at the hotel was limited to 2 treadmills which did not work and a stationary bike. Also a multi- weight machine less than ideal. Great pool and Saturday night entertainment with dancing.

GGuest UserThe room was very spacious and comfortable, and the bedding – sheets, duvet covers, and pillows – was equally pleasant. It's conveniently located very close to the Vatican, with a taxi ride costing only 20 Euros. Each room comes with a balcony, and the air quality was quite good. However, the room temperature wasn't individually adjustable. It was 28°C (82°F) during our summer stay, and it got so hot that we had to wait until after 9 AM the following day for someone from maintenance to adjust it. There's a pool downstairs which seemed quite clean, but access isn't direct; you need to pick up a pass from the front desk first.

DD&CMckIts very clean, we stayed way at the back, persons refused to help us to get to the front, the help desk dosnt answer the phone and the dont know to speak, I saw ****** at its best, my friend had a disability and we were refused a lift.
The black guy were the one who tried to help.
Very ******, would never return. We went to the icecrem shop the two young people hardly spoke, the saw us as blacks the assume we needed the smallest icecream, the didn't give us an opportunity to choose, I asked why not let us choose, the young man just made a funny face, I only complained the purchase because of the kids.

PPerma FortunaWas welcomed by the very friendly Dark haired Desk Manager. She swiftly glanced at the colors of my outfit and assigned me a room that perfectly matches... I found out that later as it was a pleasant surprise, she guessed that I drink lots of tea, so she gave me a huge luxury tea kettle to take to my room, some people are emotional genuises! She figured I booked this hotel because of the name... So she explained to me the historic significance of Fium-Icino and it's incredible subtle multi-player Ed lesser relation to the famous Rubicon, which used to be called Fium-Icino until the rediscovery of the Rubicon.. It's like all the Great rivers know each other! She explained that the Rubicon became associated with Barracks populism and the Tiber became associated with Aristocratic democracy and later on Enjoying Catholicism. The Hotel itself sits on the mouth of Second tributary canal that fed the new port of old Rome, because the original Tiber last miles were full of it! If you must see the older river Port is a 15 minute walk south across until you reach the North banks across of Ostia. As that settled in my mind, she explained the Tiber significance Upstream Rome... Small boats used to go up the Tiber deep into Umbria. The thought of all that was amazing, due to the Hotel significance it will be renovated into an exclusive Luxury 5 star Hotel, will be all Stone like the Monolithic Limestone honed filled sink, but with stone cladding everywhere it will become prohibitively expensive luxury hotel, but for now it's still an excellent Transit hotel... A good 1 hour walk from the airport, especially at night, make a right and follow the river North Bank of the new Canal and you will reach the Hotel... You can't miss it.

GGuest UserFantastic village, beautiful surroundings and very peaceful. Train station is around a 30 minute walk from the village where you can get cheap trains to Rome and the airport. Great place to get a good night’s rest and good value too. I stayed there between flights so it was convenient as it is only 1 hour 15 minutes by train to the airport. There are restaurants, plenty of toilets and even a shuttle bus. I didn’t use any of these services because I just needed to sleep but there are lots of amenities. I stayed in a basic room which had 2 beds, table, light and power socket. That’s all you need. There is a heater and blankets for when it gets cold. A generous amount of toilet paper is also provided which can be used in the shared toilets. Staff are friendly. All in all a great place to stay!

GGuest UserThough I booked a standard room with a courtyard view, they gave me a room at the backside with no view. Though the hotel is 4 stars but I was surprised that the room has no mini bar or kettle or provided bottle of water.
Breakfast is ok with good varieties. Location is convenient, only 15 minutes by bus to St Peter cathedral.
Overall experience is good for the value of money

AAnonymous UserI've been to Holiday Inns in the US, and it made me realize just how great this particular Holiday Inn is. This one is in the suburbs and hosts a lot of business meetings and events, so there are many business travelers. Taking a taxi to tourist attractions is quite expensive from here. The rooms are spacious, and while the hotel is a bit older, it's well-maintained. The breakfast is fantastic.
