"We stayed at Rusutsu Resort Hotel & Convention and we were truly impressed. We came for skiing, and the location is perfect — just step out of the hotel and you’re right at the ski slopes. So convenient .⛷️❄️ The room was spacious, very clean, and extremely comfortable. The snowy view from the window made the whole experience even more special. After a full day of skiing, relaxing in the onsen was absolutely amazing. It was the perfect way to unwind and recharge. ♨️✨ The staff were friendly, polite, and very helpful. Overall, it was a comfortable and memorable stay. Definitely a place we would love to come back to again.❤️Bkk Thailand ❤️"

"Overall, I was very satisfied. I felt safe and relaxed throughout my stay. The service was excellent across the board, truly worth the price. The room was new and very clean, and the room service was both delicious and reasonably priced. The soundproofing was excellent, allowing me to sleep very soundly. The location is convenient; it's a three-minute walk from Nakajima-koen Station's Exit 1 on the Namboku subway line. Susukino is a ten-minute walk away, and Odori is fifteen minutes. Of course, there are always taxis available right outside if you prefer not to walk. The window view was beautiful. However, in mid-to-late April, many scenic spots and attractions in Sapporo and Hokkaido haven't yet reached their peak (e.g., the cherry blossoms hadn't bloomed). If your primary purpose is sightseeing, you might consider visiting at a more opportune time."

"Picked this hotel due to proximity to the Shiragone Falls and Biei blue pond. We had a Japanese room with 2 single beds and a tatami area for the futon. The beds could do with an upgrade. Mattresses were old and height of beds were much lower than the ones available in most hotels. The small bathroom is much higher than the room floor, need to be careful when getting in and out, especially at night. Both dinner and breakfast were buffet style and quite a good spread. The restaurant decor is modern and gives a nice vibe. There is a flight of stairs from front of hotel to reception area, a challenge for those with heavy suitcases. Thankfully, we had help from a hotel staff."

"My stay at Jozankei View Hotel was fantastic. The hotel has a very tranquil atmosphere, perfect for a hot spring resort. The dinner quality was a pleasant surprise; the sashimi and sweet shrimp were incredibly fresh, and the beef was delicious. For breakfast, the seafood donburi was also amazing and very satisfying. The onsen facilities were spacious and comfortable, making for a truly relaxing soak. Overall, the service, food, and environment were excellent. It was a very satisfying hot spring hotel experience and definitely worth recommending."

"Everything was fine, except that those staying in the cabins had to drag their luggage in and out themselves (through heavy snow). Three suitcases were in the snow. I can barely understand the hotel not offering a shuttle service, but having luggage delivered to the door and then from the door to the lobby upon check-out is a service that should be provided."

"Really enjoyed my stay here! Loved the room, the service and the wide range of amenities here. Brought my mom here for a relaxing day and I think she really enjoyed it! My favourite part of staying here is definitely the onsen! It's separated into male and female sections, and for the female section it had a multiple (10-ish?) indoor pools and 4 outdoor pools. I personally didn't really enjoy the indoor onsen as the air just felt so warm, but I really enjoyed the outdoor onsen! You can even order drinks like sake to enjoy as you soak in the onsen. One thing to note is that the female onsen does not have a view overlooking the hell valley, which believe can be seen in the male section... but I later discovered that in the swimming pool section, there's this outdoor area with a jacuzzi that overlooks the hell valley!! So that made up for it hahha. Anws, the hotel was also a walking distance to all the key attractions, which was really convenient! One last thing to note is that most restaurants in and outside of the hotel closes for break at 3pm, so you may want to come earlier to check in or eat lunch before checking in at 2pm, or else you will run in the same issue as we did, which was not being able to find FOOD and the only restaurants that were open were slow and overpriced... anw still highly recommend this place :)"

"I used this hotel during my visit to Escon. They were very kind and helpful, from carefully storing my luggage before check-in to checking in after the match. The room had a great view and was very comfortable. The hot springs were fantastic. My only suggestion would be that it would be nice to have a basket to put bath towels in when going to the hot springs. I would definitely like to use this hotel again (*^-^*) The breakfast area is on the top floor, and having breakfast while enjoying the spectacular view was amazing."

"Highly recommended! We booked a Western-style room in the West Wing, and it was incredibly spacious with fantastic views. The only minor drawback was the bit of a walk to the onsen, restaurant, and smoking room. The dinner is an absolute must-try – super abundant and authentically Japanese, with high-quality ingredients. The scallops and wagyu beef are unlimited, and there's an all-you-can-drink alcohol option, plus daily rotating dishes. We even got to try venison and bear meat! We stayed for two days, and there weren't many tour groups yet, but lots of Japanese seniors. It made me wonder if it reminded them of the prosperity during Japan's economic boom. The onsen area is also huge, and the wash and shower areas were the largest I've seen in Japan. They clearly label whether the baths are regular tap water or hot spring water, and I saw staff meticulously checking the temperature and water quality of each one."

"The public areas are exceptionally well-designed, beautifully blending Park Hyatt's signature luxury with a Japanese onsen resort vibe. The overall atmosphere feels both sophisticated and relaxing. The breakfast and the selection of restaurants are much more extensive than at the neighboring Higashiyama Niseko Village, and the food itself tasted noticeably better. Service is also a major plus here. The welcome fruit wasn't just generic apples, pears, or bananas; they offered a plate of strawberries, which felt very thoughtful. Whether it was the Japanese staff, foreign staff, or the Chinese-speaking employees, everyone was consistently warm and natural. I was particularly impressed by a young woman in the restaurant department, who seemed to be from Henan, China. She was incredibly welcoming and friendly, making conversations very pleasant. Communicating with other foreign staff members in Japanese was also seamless; there was no need to force English, nor did we have to resort to translation apps like we did at Higashiyama Niseko Village. Finally, upon departure, since the hotel doesn't have a shuttle bus and we couldn't immediately find a taxi, the hotel thoughtfully arranged a complimentary business car to take us to the station, which was a huge bonus to the overall experience. The basic room type in the hotel building is a large suite with a double bathroom design, offering a high level of comfort. There are some drawbacks, however. As a hotel opened in 2020, there are already visible signs of wear and tear on some of the leather and fabric in the rooms, so the maintenance isn't perfectly pristine. The views are also significantly less impressive compared to Higashiyama Niseko Village, where you can see Mount Yotei directly from the lobby, rooms, and even the onsen. Additionally, this hotel has more rooms and also accommodates quite a few group tours, so even during the non-snow season, it's quite popular, making it less quiet overall than Higashiyama Niseko Village."

"The facilities and environment were great, but the service staff were inconsistent in their standards, which made me feel uncomfortable. Sometimes, when something went wrong, they would only apologize but couldn't make any other decisions."
