We had a lovely stay at Himalaya Sea. We only stayed one night but wished we could have stayed longer. Incredibly clean, spacious and comfortable rooms, amazing sea views, a nice little pool for cooling off in, as well as private and shared Onsen. They were able to accommodate us and provided a vegetarian breakfast. The free drinks (sodas, juice, wine, whiskey, etc) were appreciated. Thank you Himalaya Sea, we hope we can come back again some day!

Nestled on a hillside overlooking the bay, the hotel is absolutely stunning on a clear day. The garden has direct access to the beach, though climbing the stairs back up can be quite a workout. The room facilities were comprehensive and newer than I had anticipated. The hotel was quite busy with guests from various countries, indicating it's indeed very foreigner-friendly. However, this also led to some issues. For instance, the hotel's onsen (hot spring) isn't very large, so it felt quite crowded with so many international visitors. What was even more dismaying was the blatant disregard for onsen etiquette. I personally witnessed several instances, including but not limited to: two Chinese female tourists in swimsuits in the outdoor bath, one of whom was sitting at the edge, soaking her legs while drinking a beverage, with a full face of makeup – I half expected her to pull out her phone for a 'perfect shot.' Additionally, two women, possibly from Eastern Europe or Russia, covered in tattoos, wore their slippers directly into the changing area and then just left them thrown under the lockers. Such sights were off-putting, so we decided not to use the onsen on our second night. The hotel actually provides guests with a leaflet on Japanese onsen etiquette upon check-in, but clearly, some people just don't bother to read it. I suggest the hotel increases staff patrols in the onsen area to promptly identify and address these uncivilized behaviors. On another note, when we first entered our room, it felt stuffy, so we opened the window, which unfortunately let in some mosquitoes. After contacting the front desk, they promptly sent up an electric mosquito repellent, which was a thoughtful gesture. We stayed for two nights, both on a half-board basis (dinner and breakfast). The dinner was a Western-style set menu, with at least 7 courses. Both the presentation and content were Michelin-level and absolutely delicious. Finally, the hotel's shuttle bus service is quite frequent. In the mornings, there are four buses that stop at Shimoda Park, which is perfect for seeing the hydrangeas.

The hotel is about 300 meters on foot from Imai-hama Kaigan Station, but it's not recommended for travelers with luggage as there's no elevator at this station. The hotel offers a shuttle bus to Kawazu Station, so be sure to check the schedule. I strongly advise against booking dinner with your stay, especially during the evening cherry blossom illumination. The hotel provides a shuttle service to Kawazu Station from 7 PM to 8:20 PM, which largely overlaps with dinner times.

The rooms are located up on the hill, but they offer free shuttle service to and from the station, which is great. As expected from a Marriott, it was clean, hygienic, and the service was excellent. The hot springs were very relaxing. It's a bit far from the main hotel, so breakfast isn't included, and there are no convenience stores nearby.

An exceptional hotel with superb value for money and an excellent stay experience! 👍 First off, the staff at the front desk were incredibly friendly. The room was spacious, and I loved the dimly lit lounge area before entering both the indoor and outdoor hot springs. Plus, the hotel boasts a pool with lake views! 👍 The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety, and as a vegetarian, I found plenty of delicious options. The Vegetarian Lasagna was particularly good! To top it off, the hotel lobby on the ground floor even offered complimentary drinks and snacks for three hours during certain periods – what a pleasant surprise! More importantly, the hotel is located on the shores of Lake Hamana in Hamamatsu, Shizuoka Prefecture. It's a peaceful retreat away from the city's hustle and bustle. As someone who enjoys morning runs, the lakeside trail was perfect for jogging. This hotel is fantastic and fully equipped, truly a resort hotel, and many Japanese guests stay here! First, the hotel will send you an email in advance to confirm your dinner time. We booked dinner for two nights; it was a set menu, and the menu changed daily! The rooms are spacious, and there are many yukata choices! There are two hot springs ♨️, one in the main building and one in the south building. Currently, there are no private baths. We tried both. The main building's is smaller but fully equipped and less crowded. The south building isn't too far to walk to, just a few stairs! Both sides have restaurants. We stayed in the main building and dined there. Breakfast was indeed a bit of a hassle; you usually have to wait. You can go down early to make a reservation, and they'll call your room when it's ready! If you have time, you definitely need to try the hotel's facilities. It has three stops, including a free spa and an indoor water park. We went to the spa, and swimsuits were provided, which was very convenient! The internal shuttle runs until 11 PM, so you can go in the evening too! Be aware that the shuttle to the Kogen Station is the same as the internal shuttle, so make sure to ask when you get on! Both the hotel's dinner and breakfast are high-quality, and breakfast even includes sashimi rice! Plus, the hotel's souvenir shop is cheaper than the one at JR Station! I recommend having dinner at the hotel, as there's absolutely nothing around, no shops! But the hotel itself is so exciting, it's worth it even if you just stay and enjoy the hotel!

First of all, I like Ctrip’s efficient service. The hotel does not have pick-up and drop-off service from Ito Station. If you have a suitcase, it is recommended to take a taxi for about 50 yuan. There are no scenic spots nearby and no sea view in the residential area. There is only a garden view that is generally neglected. Arrive at 2 o’clock. There was no reception at the door. Check-in started at 2:30. This hotel said check-in was at 3:00 and one person would check in. I was given a room first. I was shocked. I have stayed in ten rooms and never had a view. This one has no view at all, only the entire living room and bedroom. The window was half closed because there was no view. I immediately went downstairs and asked the hotel to change rooms. It was inconsistent with the order. The hotel said that there was no way. I immediately contacted Ctrip. I hope that the Ctrip guy can change it to a room with a large window. The view is still average, but I am very satisfied. The room is large and has an average size. There is also a strange Japanese-style sliding door that cannot be opened, which makes people think of bad service. And the food and beverage included in the restaurant is a bit lower than the average in the world. There are only two bottles of bulk water in the refrigerator for free. Other charges are not as good as the last time I stayed in Hoshino Kai Enshu Ito Kai. It is family-friendly and has a swimming pool with a cypress bubble. The other experience of the pool is very average. There are about a dozen rooms with half-windows and no view at all. It is completely meaningless to stay in such a room. There are very few rooms with a view shown on Ctrip. It is difficult to arrange for Hoshino World in Ito. The hotel is called Anzhen Express Hotel, which is the same but has a sea view. In short, the two areas in Ito are average. I used to make reservations frequently and was very disappointed last time. I only booked one this time and the experience was average. I just picked up a cheap hotel from First Line Sea View Hotel. Come to the room to experience it, especially the sea view is Inatori

The hotel is located right in front of the sea, with a convenience store nearby and paid parking spaces. The price is very reasonable for the area. The hotel staff is very good. In fact, the highlight of this hotel is their private open-air bath, which is very comfortable. recommend

Beautiful onsen — our favorite stay in Japan with my family! The traditional breakfast was delicious with a very large selection of dishes. The rooms are gorgeous, quiet, and spacious — and everything was exceptionally clean. The cleaning crew truly does an amazing job. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful, making us feel warmly welcomed. The location is excellent, just a short walk from the train station, and having a washer and dryer available for guests was a big plus. Highly recommended — we would love to stay here again!

I had a wonderful stay at Laforet Shuzenji Sanshisuimei. Overall, the experience was excellent and very relaxing. I booked the Mt. Fuji Side Hot Spring Open-air Bath room, and it was absolutely worth it. The room was very spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed. Having a private onsen bath in the room made the stay feel extra special. Soaking in the open-air bath while enjoying the peaceful mountain surroundings was truly unforgettable. The location is tucked away in the mountains, which makes it perfect for those who value privacy, tranquility, and a quiet escape from the city. However, it may not be ideal for travelers looking for a highly convenient or easily accessible location. I drove there and would strongly recommend doing so. Complimentary parking is available, which made the trip very convenient. One small note for future guests: toothbrushes are not provided in the room and need to be purchased at check-in, so it’s good to prepare in advance. The only minor issue during my stay was that the temperature control for the private onsen bath in my room was not functioning perfectly. It would be great if this could be improved. That said, it did not take away from the overall enjoyment of the stay. Overall, it was a fantastic and rejuvenating experience. I would definitely consider returning for another peaceful getaway.
