Ξενοδοχεία με Pools σε Chungcheongnam-do, South Korea

My wife and I spent one overnight stay here on August 28, 2023, on the way to another destination. The first impression inside the room was that everything was clean. The interior was decorated with sensual, sophisticated touches and cozy. Also, everything external to the building, including a swimming pool, was well maintained. We spent most of the afternoon and evening at the swimming pool for swimming and poolside steak grilling. The property owner and his wife were amiable and made us feel right at home, providing us with utensils and cooking ingredients for a poolside grilling. The outside view from the room through the big glass wall was just eye-refreshing and spectacular. In addition, on the day of departure, the owner and his wife came for a farewell, and my wife and I felt we were leaving long-time friends even though we spent only a night there. Thanks to the lodging owner and his wife's careful consideration, my wife and I were 200% satisfied with everything, and we had a blast and relaxation. Thanks for everything you have done for us. We will revisit you.

We stayed here only to partake in the Waterpark that is attached to the Hotel. It was okay. Not much else in the area. And one does not need to stay at the hotel to attend Waterpark. Room price was decent, but everything else was very expensive. Not the norm for Korea. A discount was given for pool entry since we were guests of the hotel. We opted for a room with kitchen and glad we did. No microwave in room, but there are three down by the front desk for common use.

The hotel is next to the beach. It is an old building. It is located on the quieter side of Mallipo beach. The hotel has an outdoor pool with a deck and tubes, picnic tables with umbrellas,grills and communal amenities behind the building. The room has a fridge, indoor balcony, TV, wardrobe and AC. It is not far from the lively side of the beach maybe a 5 minutes walk from the hotel. The closes convenience store is about a 5 minutes walk. A few minutes walk to Chollipo beach and the garden there. Arrived later than the expected time but called ahead and the front desk accommodated our late arrival.

The place is great and it's at the right location. The slide pool is really nice, but could have been better if the hours were a lot longer. The beach is just a 3 minute walk and a awesome experience to try out digging for clams. Overall it's a great place and experience.

Really cute glamping area. Right on the water and close to scenic locations and hiking. Tent was clean and had heating and extra blankets. There is a small snack store on site. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

대천해수욕장 바로 앞애 위치한 리조트라서 위치는 정말 좋았어요~ 1층에 컴포즈커피도 있고, 바로 옆에 베이커리카페도 있어서 편의시설들도 만족스라웠어요^^ 트립에서 예약해서인지 채크인할때 리셉션에서 바로 확인을 못해줘서 조금 아쉬웠고, 객실 자채는 깔끔했는데 화장실 타일 깨진것들이 있고 테라스 쪽은 관리가 안되는것 같아서 조금 아쉽더라구요;; 그래도 루프탑에 수영장도 넓어서 수영하면서 대천해수욕장 뷰도 보이고 가성비 좋았어요!!

It is a beautiful resort with a traditional feel. It's been a few years since I've been here, and there's a lot more to eat. Lotte Buyeo Resort is a great place to visit with children in the summer because it has a swimming pool. There is a lifeguard at the swimming pool and he diligently gives safety instructions. I felt safe with these people around. The locker room is also clean because it is cleaned quickly. It's nice that parking is free, and since I had a lot of time left before check-in, I put my phone number on the tab in front of the front desk to wait, and when I got a text notification, I could check in, and it was convenient because I could also do self-check-in. My family and I booked a condominium room, and it was nice that the room was spacious. We also ate take-out meals, such as chicken, tteokbokki, and pizza, on the first basement floor, and collected them separately and put them aside. There is a place on the basement floor where you can play games, so after dinner, we played a bowling game and a car racing game and had fun with the kids. Breakfast is cheaper than other hotels in my personal opinion. Maybe that's why the menu was a little disappointing. Salmon and shrimp soup for seafood? There was, and I wish one or two meat menu items would be added. I wish it had ribs or stir-fried pork.

I usually don't leave reviews, but... - Arrived at 10:30 AM and saw elementary school boys playing in the pool. I asked if my kids could play since we arrived early, but was told no until check-in, which I understood. - There was no traditional Korean floor mattress (yo) in the room. I was a bit surprised it wasn't a bedded room. There was just a very thin pad to put over the bed/floor and a comforter. When I asked about the yo, they said they don't provide them. - We booked for 6 people but only had 2 towels. When I asked for about 8 more, they said they always run out of towels and couldn't give us many. - The next morning, when we wanted to swim, we were told swimming wasn't allowed in the morning. When I asked why the kids from yesterday were allowed, they said those were repeat guests. So, my companions came from Japan to visit, and after we explained, they allowed us to swim only between 10 AM and 11 AM. About 20 minutes into our swim, the same elementary school kids from yesterday arrived, sweating profusely after soccer practice. They just stripped off their clothes and jumped into the pool without showering. There was also a soccer representative and a coach nearby, and they just told the kids to play in the pool, and no one told them to shower first. - I was so shocked that I asked, ”They're so sweaty, shouldn't they shower before getting in?” Only then did they roughly rinse their feet at the foot-washing station and enter the pool. There were about 10 kids like that. I told my kids to get out. We really only slept there... If we had cooked food, there would probably have been even more incidents.
