"The staff friendliness is just amzing 10/10. Excellent Service.Our room had amazing view of the sea and opposite resort called Gayana. Dinner: Only Buffet option is available and its about RM167/person +taxes. The spread are fairly good and it is delicious. Though they do have 2 more different Restaurant in the island,Japanese and fine dining. Breakfast: Included in the room price. Menu changes daily. I have nothing to complaint about the room,for us its comfortable.All rooms have exactly the dane Designs the only difference is where it is located. You are paying for the view. Activities: For me I think 3 days 2 nights are perfect to spend your time here, swimming by the pool,kayaking,snorkling,Jungle trekking, visiting the private beach. 1 hour complimentary use of snorklinh masks. I like the public guests showers and towel provided.Very convinient. One thing that I would like to comment is the boat fees are relatively very expansive.15 mins speedboat per person one way cost about Rm80+taxes..Just return trip cost RM170++ per person. This is not even including island conservation fees and tourist fees. All this added fees makes the Hotel cost more expansive. Because a boat trip to nearby or same Island cost only Rm40. GAYANA ECO RESORT provided inclusive/complimentary return boat fees. I hope the Management can improve this because we as Guests are going to spend more money on F&B and at the Bar. Last but not least I would like to compliment the service and staffs in thsi Resort I think they did such an amazing job. Overalö the Resort is beautiful andclose to the nature."

"The room is a standard two-bedroom unit, not particularly large, but offers great value for money. The only downside is that you have to time your arrival perfectly, as check-in isn't until 3 PM sharp. The lobby can get very crowded, so it's a good idea to store your luggage and go explore before coming back. The location isn't the most convenient. While it's in the city center, there's a ditch in front of the building, so you have to use an overpass to get out. However, taxis to most places aren't too expensive. Plus, walking isn't really recommended in Malaysia anyway, so the location is still acceptable – something to keep in mind. The two separate bedrooms and two bathrooms are quite convenient, especially for larger families sharing a room, as you don't have to fight for the bathroom. The pool is quite small. If you're looking for a resort experience, I'd suggest choosing a dedicated resort. However, as an interim hotel or for those who plan to spend most of their time out, this place is recommendable! For smokers, there's a designated smoking area right downstairs, which is very convenient."

"Rating: 4/5 We had a really pleasant stay at Hilton Garden Inn. The hotel is known for its calm and peaceful nature, and it really delivers on that. Perfect for couples who enjoy quiet and greenery. *What we loved:* - *Rooms & Ambience*: The corridors and rooms were super clean, serene, and well-kept. Beds were very comfortable. - *Facilities*: Toilet, vanity area, and iron board were all nicely set up on day 1. - *Location & Views*: The private beach, sunset views, and wind by the sea were absolutely beautiful. So peaceful. - *Staff*: The staff who attended to us were really nice and tried to help quickly. *Areas to improve:* - *Bathroom drainage*: After showering, the water was stagnant because of uneven flooring. We had to manually push the water out, which was a bit unpleasant. - *Housekeeping*: On the second day, the toilet wasn’t fully cleaned and disposable items like toothbrushes weren’t replenished. We had to call to request them. - *Breakfast*: Good variety overall, but some food was cold/dry and basic condiments like butter were missing. I understand the hotel is under new management so hopefully this gets sorted. - *Room service*: It would help to have 24-hour service as some rooms are quite far. Overall, we really liked the hotel and would recommend it for its peace and views. Just hope management works on the small details above. A quick apology/acknowledgement from staff would also go a long way. Would stay again!"

"had a very pleasant stay at Citadines Waterfront Kota Kinabalu. The location is excellent and very convenient, with plenty of restaurants, shops and attractions within easy walking distance. The property feels modern, clean and well maintained. My room was comfortable, spacious and clean, and the facilities were very good. I especially enjoyed the overall atmosphere and the waterfront location. The staff were friendly, professional and helpful throughout my stay, and check-in and check-out were smooth. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable experience with good value for money. I would definitely consider staying here again when visiting Kota Kinabalu and would recommend it to solo travelers looking for a convenient and comfortable place to stay."

"The hotel facilities are comparable to a typical Ji Hotel in China, but its location is absolutely fantastic! It's perfect for dining, shopping, and buying souvenirs. There are durian shops, coconut ice cream shops, apple juice stands, and bak kut teh restaurants all around. For breakfast, make sure to order from the staff directly; don't just stick to the self-service section. The à la carte options are all delicious and offer local specialties. I still recommend staying here. You could easily stay for two nights: one day for eating, drinking, and shopping, and another for island hopping (the hotel is very close to the pier, within walking distance)."

"It was a wonderful time. You can watch an unforgettable sunset over the sea. It is great for swimming in the ocean, and the private pool is clean and well-maintained. The shared pool was also very pleasant. I would like to stay here again if I come to Kota Kinabalu next time. The best accommodation."
