We had such a wonderful experience on this cruise, but what made the trip truly special and memorable was the incredible service from Jason, Thiip, and Happy From the very beginning until the end of our stay, all three of them were exceptionally kind, attentive, and welcoming. They always greeted us with warm smiles and made sure we felt comfortable throughout the entire cruise What impressed us most was how genuine their hospitality felt. It never seemed like they were simply doing their job. They were constantly paying attention to the small details, checking if we needed anything, and often helping us before we even had to ask Jason was extremely professional, attentive, and reliable. Whenever we had a question, he was always happy to help and explained everything clearly. He made us feel very comfortable throughout the cruise, and we truly appreciated how carefully he looked after us Thiip was incredibly warm, friendly, and thoughtful. Every time we saw Thiip, we were welcomed with such a positive attitude and genuine kindness. The attention to detail and sincere care made every interaction feel personal rather than simply part of the service And Happy truly lived up to the name. Happy always had such a bright smile and wonderful positive energy. Every interaction was cheerful and welcoming, and that positive attitude made the overall atmosphere of the cruise even more enjoyable The facilities, scenery, and activities were all excellent, but we believe that the people you meet are often what you remember most about a trip. For us, Jason, Thiip, and Happy were definitely one of the most memorable parts of this experience They went beyond simply providing good service. They made us feel genuinely welcomed and valued as guests. Even with small requests, they were always attentive, patient, and willing to help We sincerely hope the management recognizes the excellent work of Jason, Thiip, and Happy. Team members like them make a huge difference to the guest experience and are a real asset to the cruise Because of their kindness and hospitality, we left with an even better impression of the entire cruise experience. An amazing hotel! In my opinion, it's the best I've ever stayed in, and I've been to over 100 countries. Everything here is magnificent: from the design and materials to the overall concept, staff, and location. It truly reflects Vietnam's historical heritage and allows you to delve deeper into this incredible country. The room has a wonderful view and thoughtful details. The sink is carved from a single piece of marble, and the shower is superb. And the bed - I never wanted to leave it. I really want to come back here!

This stay felt more like 4 star than 5 star. The service was excellent from the reception, with staff making a special effort to check we were happy with everything. Jenny in particular made an effort to visit guests during breakfast to check on everything. There was a strange group of guests staying there, when we arrived the place was crazy and noisy with children running everywhere. We are family and we would not allow this to happen in such a small space. Also we came across some quite rough looking guests... On a few different occasions... a bit daunting, and made us cautious about our stay there. I don't know why this was...very strange. The breakfast had a good selection, however I dont think the building itself us designed to allow for so many guests. It was so busy and hard to move around the buffet or get your food. The restaurant food was nice, the service was slow. We waited about 1 hour for our food whilst other guests who arrived after us were served before us. I guess Asian food is faster to cook but this wait does not make you feel valued. The rooftop pool is nice, but again very crowded. More of a drink and party atmosphere rather than quiet and relaxing. The area itself doesn't have much to explore. A few restaurants, but it's quite empty. However the location is very convenient for HaLong bay excursions. Overall the stay was okay, but I think next time we would stay in Hanoi and just do a day trip from there.

Beautiful ship and excellent service. A few issues that I have been communicated to L’amour management already and I am writing this review to help others not have the same experience I did. 1. You must send your passport info to the port authority at least 3 days in advance before you sail. I booked my cruise less than 24 hours before the cruise departed and if bot for our hotel reception knowing who to call, we may have been refused entry to the cruise. Trip.com did NOT flag this for us, nor did L’amour. I happened upon it only because I read the whole booking, which I often don’t. This was my 11th accommodation booking in 3 weeks, so I often don’t read all the fine print. This needs to be highlighted by both the cruise and the online booking platform. 2. There is no office where you check in. The guide with a clipboard and some chairs in an unmarked area. Please confirm with L’amour to know exactly where you are to be dropped off. We showed our hotel reception our booking confirmation and she input our particulars into our Grab ride. Got us to the port, but not the right place. Had to panic call the tour guide on whatsapp to speak with the Grab driver to get instructions. Cost me another 100,000 dong and upset all of us. 3. Bad smell - really bad smell in the hallway and our room. Gave my daughter and I a terrible headache within minutes. Our tour guide offered to move us to another room and their maintenance person offered to spray deodorizer to mask the smell, which we declined. Left the window wide open for a few hours and smell improved. Management promised to investigate and deal with the problem, so going forward, hopefully no more passengers will remark on this problem. L’amour staff and management are great and really committed to customer happiness. They try very hard and the ship is beautiful. One more small point, coffee, tea, juice, water and soft drinks should be free, you pay enough for the cruise, I don’t feel it’s right to charge additional for non alcoholic drinks.

We found it a mixed bag of good & bad. Food bad, western trained chef please No milk for coffee or ice for drinks WiFi , non existent Prices high Room & Staff were excellent. Our room, en-suite & balcony were perfectly clean & comfortable. Prices were expensive, like asking for 300,000 corkage to open my bottle of wine I brought with us. Food was not for the western pallet. New western chef please. Serving staff are not trained. Eg. 3 stand next to the buffet but when the coffee was empty, it took a long time to replace, then no milk. Out in the smaller day boat, supplies also ran out, like ice for warm soft drinks or beer drinks. A good senior manager could turn this all around Advertised WiFi never worked, a big problem as there was mostly no internet available by 4G.

I can't describe the place and the cruise. It's amazing and luxurious, and all the staff are helpful and friendly. The lobby is beautiful, and there's always an employee there to keep your room card with so it doesn't get lost. The room is clean and spacious, with a refrigerator, a dresser, a chair, and a table. The balcony has a table and two chairs. The bathroom doesn't have a bidet. The buffet includes three meals (we are Muslims, and some of their food isn't halal, so they provided us with vegetarian food). There's a swimming pool and a water slide. There's a billiard table. There's also a sound room with speakers, an amplifier, a microphone, and soundproofing. In the afternoon, there are kayaking, water slide, free diving, and swimming in the Gulf. After dinner, there are fishing activities. Before sunset, there's a fruit and nut snack, and there's a menu if you want to buy juice or soda. There's also an early morning exercise before breakfast, but I didn't attend it. After breakfast, on the first day, we went on a trip to swim on the beach and visited the hidden village. We went back to the cruise and had lunch. The next day, we left at 6:45 in the morning. We saw a cave and went back. We ate a meal and made checkouts. We went back. It was the best two days. When going to the cruise, you take a simple boat. The trip to the cruise takes 30 minutes.

A hidden gem accessible by boat! My honest review of Vinpearl Resort Ha Long. This is a review of Vinpearl Resort Ha Long, which boasts a unique landscape situated on an island in the middle of Ha Long Bay. It has very clear pros and cons, so I hope this helps anyone considering a visit. The ordeal of boat schedules (inconvenient transportation): Due to its island location, you have to take a boat to get to the resort. Boats depart for the resort every hour on the hour and at the 30-minute mark, and boats leaving the resort depart at 15 and 45 minutes past the hour. Initially, these fixed times might feel a bit inconvenient, but if you plan your movements according to the schedule, it's not as bothersome as you might think. Fantastic views and swimming pool: The incredible views of Ha Long Bay alone are enough to offset all the aforementioned inconveniences. Plus, with a spacious and pleasant swimming pool, there's no better place to just relax and stay at the resort. Breakfast and dining tips: You know the typical Vinpearl Resort breakfast style, right? While tasty, if you're staying for an extended period, the breakfast can get a bit repetitive. A full-board package (all meals included) might be convenient, but personally, I recommend venturing out to local restaurants rather than sticking to the resort's food. Overall: If you're willing to put up with the slight inconvenience of adhering to boat schedules, this is an excellent resort where you can enjoy a wonderful vacation with fantastic views and a spacious swimming pool!

Great view great room, spacious and modern. The gym was fantastic, exceeded my expectation. I ordered room service for ox tail soup which was the best I have tasted so far. The only downside is the fridge was leaking water. Other than this everything elsewas working great.

We accidentally stumbled upon this city called Can Pha. Along the shore of Halong Bay. The area is called the Green Dragon and everything around the hotel looks like a ghost town during the day, but with movement in the evening and at night, the beach fills with fishermen and families, athletes running and exercising, and lots of karaoke lovers. The rooms in the hotel are spacious and square, not bad at all. The service at the reception is very pleasant and personal. The dining room is not big enough to cater for all the local hotel guests. The children shout and cry loudly, and the parents and grandparents are no less. The breakfast is not bad, but not the best. There are no croissants and a lot of sweets. The dairy products are also very limited. The elevators work quite well, it's just a shame that they are not clean of all handprints. The pool is not big, it is on the sixth floor, the roof, in fact. The locals are noisy and generally unpleasant to be in the pool. The pool guard asked me to stop eating sunflower seeds, but the locals ate their food and entered the pool with their clothes and food, and not just their hair, of course, scattered. The guard didn't say anything. The bath towels are full of holes, but they are clean. So I don't recommend the hotel to European or American tourists. It is more suitable for the noisy Vietnamese. I will never return to the hotel. Also because the beach is very dirty and the water is murky, full of sewage and nylons.
