"Great room! We booked the quadruple room and it fits all of us 4 adults and 2 children. Great onsen experience! They provide complete amenities such as different kind of shampoos, hairband, kose brand skincare, refa hairdryer, and many more. Good japanese style dinner and breakfast! The pork during dinner was so tender, really loved it. All day food is available here such as ramen at 10pm, yakult, and many more!"

"I honestly can't give this guesthouse even a slightly bad review; it's a perfect 100 out of 100, no, make that 150 points! The staff, both the young man and the ladies, prepared breakfast for us early. At 7:27 AM, they politely called our room to let us know breakfast was ready (it was supposed to start at 8 AM, but they knew we had a bus to catch, so they prepared it ahead of time). And when we arrived at the bus station yesterday, the young man was already waiting for us there, helping us carry our luggage upstairs to the front desk. The emotional value they provided was off the charts, and breakfast and dinner were both perfect! There's truly nothing to pick apart. No wonder this guesthouse has no bad reviews; it would feel wrong to give it even 0.1 points less. It absolutely deserves full marks plus 50 points!"

"The room is very satisfactory. It is very Japanese style. The housekeepers are like family. They are very friendly. The hotel has private baths, open-air baths and large baths. "This was the best hotel we stayed at during our trip. If you're visiting Takayama, I highly recommend it. It's a century-old building with excellent service. Located near H041 station, hotel staff can also provide a shuttle to H045 station. The hotel has three private baths and a public bath. When we went, the private baths were practically empty, requiring no reservations or queues. There are a few more private baths across the street, but you only need to experience them once. Personally, I think the hotel's private baths are more convenient. Our room had a heater, which was very Japanese. We stayed two nights, and the breakfasts and dinners were different each night. I recommend staying at least two nights for a better experience – quiet and less crowded, it was excellent."

"Everything about this hotel was exceptional – from its beautiful exterior and excellent facilities to the friendly service, immaculate cleanliness, and convenient parking. "A charming and comfortable traditional Japanese ryokan. The location is excellent, directly opposite the JR station; you can easily reach it by following the pedestrian signs across the railway tracks. The staff were incredibly warm and attentive. They kindly allowed us to store our luggage before check-in, which was great for exploring the onsen town without any burden. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious and ample Japanese meals (washoku), for which you could confirm a preferred seating time. Complimentary coffee was also available in the first-floor lobby lounge. The onsen facilities were excellent, including a lovely open-air bath (rotenburo). Overall, we were extremely satisfied and would highly recommend this ryokan."
