"After a twenty-day trip through Yunnan, I stopped in Shijiazhuang for a night on my way back to Beijing. I booked the Hilton because I was having dinner with a friend at China House on the second floor of the hotel. The hotel lobby is on the 31st floor, so you have to check in there first, and then take another elevator up to the 40-something floor for your room. This back-and-forth can be a bit inconvenient, especially when ordering takeout. You either have to pick it up yourself or wait for hotel staff to deliver it, as external deliveries aren't allowed in, and there don't seem to be any robots either. Overall, the hotel environment is quite good. Being on a high floor, you get nice city views. The toilet in the room isn't automatic. The shower water pressure was good, and the room was quite spacious. All the drinks and water in the fridge are chargeable. There's a 600 RMB deposit required per room upon check-in, which is refunded to your original payment method upon checkout. Parking is free in the underground garage. There's a shopping mall nearby. The hotel is about 7 kilometers from Shijiazhuang Station, roughly a 20-minute car ride."

"The room was incredibly small, with no table or chairs, and the decor was very basic – essentially motel-grade. Even for peak season, nearly 600 a night felt ridiculously overpriced, especially when other places like Blue Coast Xi Xi were around 500. I didn't book there because of poor cleanliness reviews. I'm a light sleeper, so I specifically asked for a quiet room. Instead, they gave me a room where the bed was right by the door, so I could hear every sound from the hallway. On the other side of the bed was a window, and something outside kept humming and buzzing, making noise. Around midnight, there was an emergency power outage and repairs. We figured we'd just try to sleep through it, but an emergency light in the room stayed on, making it impossible to sleep. Customer service said the light was connected to the fire system and couldn't be turned off, so we just had to lie there with our eyes open until the repairs were done before we could shower and go to bed. The service, however, was quite good. They were very responsive; anything we needed was brought quickly. The cleanliness was also decent, though there was no towel rack, so the bath towels placed under the sink were always damp. The facilities seemed relatively new. The restaurant food was quite good and perfect for families with kids. Since most nearby restaurants serve seafood home-style dishes, this place offered a mix of Chinese and Western simple meals. Everything tasted freshly made. It was very friendly for people like us who don't like seafood and don't want KFC or McDonald's. For anything else, just check the photos."

"My stay at Jinshi International was absolutely perfect! I especially want to highlight the buffet breakfast and the free shuttle service. The breakfast had a great variety, blending both Chinese and Western options. The local donkey meat pancake and lamb intestine soup were authentic, and they even had low-fat whole grains and fresh-cut fruits and vegetables, so I could eat healthily even while on a diet. The dishes were refilled promptly and were clean and fresh. I pre-booked the shuttle to the high-speed rail station, and the driver was waiting on time, actively helping with my luggage. It saved me both hassle and money getting to and from the station. The room was clean, and the service was thoughtful and meticulous. All my travel and dining needs were well taken care of. This is my top choice for business travel, and I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Cangzhou."

"Stayed here on the second day of my competition. Overall, the facilities were quite good. It has a bamboo-themed decor. I booked a mountain view room with a balcony. Some rooms have them, some don't, and I later switched to one with a balcony. My online booking was 20 yuan more expensive than the walk-in rate, so if you're not in a hurry, it's worth checking the on-site prices before booking to compare. The room had two bathrooms. The toilet and shower were separate, and there was plenty of space. The room itself was also very large and even had a sofa. The air was incredibly fresh, and the views were stunning. It was also super convenient to get to Genting Theme Park. The air conditioning worked great. The only minor issue was that the bed creaked every time I turned over. Breakfast was excellent too, with a wide variety of options. I get the feeling this place would be incredibly convenient for skiing, as the slopes lead right to the hotel. I'd definitely come back in winter if I get the chance."

"The hotel environment is decent, and it's pet-friendly with good service. The showerhead in the bathroom seems a bit old, but the water pressure is still okay. The wet and dry separation is a plus. We got a free upgrade to a sea-view room, which was nice. There are charging stations downstairs, which is convenient, though charging is a bit pricey at 1.55/kWh. I'd recommend coming back early if you go out at night, otherwise, you might not find a parking spot and have to park on the street in front of the hotel. It's not too far from the Coastal Market, so you can take a leisurely stroll there if you don't mind the walk. Watching the sunrise in the morning is quite lovely. The area around the hotel is a bit desolate, so you'll have to eat breakfast at the hotel. The buffet breakfast is 28 per person and offers a good variety."

The view from the window is open, quiet, and not noisy, with good soundproofing, ensuring a high quality of rest. The hotel is conveniently located with easy access to transportation and complete surrounding amenities, making it convenient for both getting around and dining. The staff are friendly and enthusiastic, responding promptly, making for a very pleasant stay. Overall, it offers great value for money and a quiet, comfortable environment, making it suitable for both business trips and leisure travel. Highly recommended."

"The hotel's location is excellent, the service is warm, and the room facilities are complete and clean. The sea view from the balcony is very good, and I'm very satisfied. Traveling with my family, we also experienced the travel photography service, Musen, in cooperation with Marriott. It was much better than other travel photography experiences I've had before. The photographer was great at guiding us, teaching us how to pose and relax, so it wasn't awkward at all. They were excellent at utilizing the light by the sea, and the unedited photos already looked great. Communication for editing was also good; they didn't over-edit to make it look fake. Overall, I had a very enjoyable photoshoot, and I love the final pictures. If you're coming to Qinhuangdao for a photoshoot, I highly recommend this place!"

"The room size is quite spacious. Although the decor is a bit dated, the cleanliness is truly impeccable. Overall, the service attitude was very good. The front desk staff were very friendly. Telephone service was prompt; it's the fastest I've experienced at any hotel in terms of getting help to the room. The welcome fruit was incredibly fresh and substantial. Every piece was edible, not just good-looking but tasteless ones. What I wasn't happy with: Firstly, the doorman. We arrived around 2 PM, which I assume is peak check-in time. I only saw one attendant at the entrance. My family went to park, and I was left alone with my child, carrying a backpack, an iPad, dragging a suitcase, and a large bag of snacks. The attendant just took the luggage out of the car and left me to my own devices. It was quite chaotic. Even if he had just helped me get a luggage cart, it would have been much better. When traveling with children, you always have a lot of stuff, so this situation should be very common. I suggest increasing the number of doormen and having luggage carts readily available at the hotel entrance. Secondly, the toothbrush in the room was incredibly hard. After brushing, I was practically spitting blood. Also, the hairdryer was fixed inside a drawer with a very short cord, making it difficult to hold up. Plus, it was really hard to use. Can't they update to a better one? The cool air doesn't dry, and the hot air burns your scalp. Even with my relatively thin hair, it took ten minutes to somewhat dry, when at home it usually takes about a minute. It doesn't have to be as fancy as a Dyson, but a Xiaomi or Laifen would be an improvement. Finally, the automatic door on the first floor leading to the beach wasn't very sensitive. As I was walking out with my child, it started closing automatically before we were fully through, and my child bumped their face. Although it wasn't serious, it's still a safety hazard. I reported it to the front desk, and they were very kind and immediately asked about my child's well-being. I just hope the issue will be taken seriously."

"Excellent! Absolutely fantastic! They even have EV charging stations in the courtyard, which is a huge plus for us driving all the way from Beijing. The courtyard is spacious, and it's so close to the sea – very relaxing! Parking is also super convenient. The room was very clean, and the facilities were new. The air conditioning was quite advanced, with modes like 'comfort breeze' and 'sleep' functions. The room featured large, panoramic windows, providing excellent natural light. Both the front desk staff, the young lady and gentleman, were incredibly helpful and accommodating. When I asked about the gym, someone immediately escorted me there. Their service was top-notch; they provided everything I asked for, whether it was extra blankets, kids' slippers, or water. Truly great! Highly recommended!"

"I was very satisfied with the hotel's environment and basic facilities, especially its convenient yet quiet distance from Four Seasons Town, which was great for dining and recreation. However, the staff's service needs improvement. For example, they were largely unfamiliar with the situation at Fulong Ski Resort, and no one informed us that many activities could be booked via a mini-program (perhaps because we only stayed one night and didn't plan on doing much). We were left scrambling like headless chickens, and with limited time, we couldn't figure out what activities were available. This stands in stark contrast to the Wanda Resort in Changbai Mountain where we stayed last year; even for a short stay, we had a dedicated butler who provided a one-on-one introduction to the resort's activities and schedule."
