We are really disappointed at the stay of the Aurora Igloo as it didn’t mention that there’s no toilet inside the room. We have to walk for 100m outside to get the bathroom as the winter is so cold and windy in December. Moreover, the hotel heater isn’t working really well, so we didn’t stay for the second night. As we have spoken to the owner, he says that we are able to receive refund in to my card. Thank you.

Absolutely perfect! The hotel offers an aurora service, and we witnessed a massive aurora display right outside the hotel entrance! The cleanliness was also excellent, and the beds in the standard room could be pulled apart. Plus, the guy at the front desk was quite handsome. Once you've seen the aurora, nothing else really matters!

The hotel's exterior is beautiful, and the interior design is stunning. The scenery is simply breathtaking, surrounded by glaciers and the sea. The staff are very friendly, and the rooms are lovely, clean, and feel luxurious. There are three outdoor hot springs, and you can even dip in the glacier water if you get too warm. The restaurant is also excellent, with a great variety of delicious dishes. This hotel comes highly recommended!

Environment: It satisfies all the fantasies of Nordic cabins! But it is more recommended to come with many friends! ! Because it is very suitable for dinner parties! If you are traveling around the island, starting from Reykjavik, after visiting the three main attractions of the Golden Circle, you might as well choose this hotel as your first night's stop, and then easily visit the various waterfalls in front of the town of Vik and the remains of the plane wreck on the second day. Although the room is 16 square meters, the layout is still livable. The hotel has an anonymous breakfast and a hot spring. Don't have too high expectations and it's OK.

The hotel's location is super convenient, just a few minutes' drive from town, and the views are absolutely stunning – you can see the Northern Lights right from your door! **Amenities:** The room is spacious, beautiful, and very clean. You can even cook here, which is a big plus. It's really comfortable, and I highly recommend staying for two nights for the full experience. It was fantastic!
