"It was the rainy season, so we couldn't see Mount Fuji, but the hotel is very new, and the room is quite spacious for Japan, with a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom. It's located behind the outlet mall; if you're coming from Tokyo by bus, you'll need to walk through the outlet and take an elevator up. It's super convenient if you're driving as it connects directly to the parking lot. Check-out is a bit early at 10 AM, and the private onsen needs to be booked and paid for separately."

"Facilities: Very old, which is exactly the style I love. Cleanliness: First-class, fresh air, and the hot springs ♨️ were excellent. Environment: It happened to be pouring rain ☔️, which made for a perfectly beautiful view with the stream gurgling. Service: Fantastic. Dinner Kaiseki Cuisine: Absolutely worth it, the food was incredibly delicious."

"I stayed for five nights and chose Imahama Tokyu Hotel over Shimoda Tokyu Hotel, mainly because it's within walking distance to the station, even without using the hotel shuttle. We arrived in Tokyo at 2 PM by plane, so we definitely missed the hotel shuttle. We took a train to Imahama station ourselves, but that station was a pain – no elevator, so we had to carry all our luggage down. Also, the Izu area at night can be a bit spooky with limited street lighting. Ms. Masaki, who checked us in, was very friendly. Later, she even provided emergency first aid for my family and me, which was much appreciated. However, some individual staff members at this hotel weren't very friendly towards foreign guests. Perhaps it's because they mainly cater to local tour groups. Some rude interactions made me uncomfortable, but this was only with a few staff members; most were friendly. Breakfast quality was decent and offered a good variety. Due to personal taste, my options were limited, but every morning there was a freshly prepared item, and they were all quite good. I especially liked the tempura fish and croquettes. The young man frying the croquettes was also very enthusiastic. This hotel also provides a microwave, ice machine, washing machine, and dryer. We didn't use the washing machine and dryer due to questionable hygiene concerns, but the microwave was very convenient. We'd often return to our room in the afternoon for a break and could easily heat up some simple food. The room cleaning service was excellent; it was spotless every day. My only regret is that the sofa bed was uncomfortable. When unfolded, the headrest area sank in, causing neck pain, unlike sofa beds in other hotels. Of course, Ms. Masaki did suggest upgrading to a room with a proper bed for an extra charge during check-in, but I decided against it due to the cost. Additionally, there were a lot of mosquitoes and flying insects in the summer here. We killed several mosquitoes and flies in our room and were bitten during breakfast. After the first night when we enjoyed the view from the balcony, we didn't dare open it again because there were too many bugs, especially at night. I suggest the hotel implements some pest control measures, like mosquito repellent lamps or wall-mounted insecticides (my family uses these every summer to treat our balcony walls)."

"One of our favorite places to stay! It’s just a 5‑minute drive from the premium outlet, which makes shopping super convenient. The snacks after a hot spring bath and the ramen for supper were such a nice touch and really added to the experience. Be sure to opt for a room with a view of Mt. Fuji—we were lucky enough to see it every morning when we woke up, and you can also enjoy the view from the rooftop (w foot bathing if you’d like) Overall, it’s a lovely place with great amenities and unforgettable views, and we’d definitely love to return next time!"

"I had a wonderful stay at Orange House. The hotel boasts an elegant and tranquil environment, creating a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere overall. There weren't many guests during my visit, which made for a great experience. The hot spring water was excellent; after a soak, my skin felt smooth and delicate, truly helping to relieve travel fatigue. The food was also impressive; both the quality of ingredients and the presentation were thoughtfully done, with rich flavors and local characteristics. The staff were warm and attentive, making the entire check-in and stay process even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this place, whether you're looking to experience hot springs or simply enjoy a relaxing holiday."

"This hotel is super conveniently located, just 100 meters to the right after exiting Shizuoka Station's North Exit. There's a supermarket and mall right next door, making dining and shopping incredibly easy. It's also within walking distance of Surugaya and a few other malls. While the hotel facilities are a bit older, they are very well-maintained, clean, and hygienic – the bedding, in particular, was incredibly comfortable. We booked a triple room for two adults and two children, and it came with three beds and enough space to open our suitcases flat. The room was very spacious."

"I originally planned to leave a 5-star review because the hotel itself has a very nice, cozy atmosphere. However, I ended up extremely disappointed due to something being stolen during housekeeping service. I travel frequently and stay in hotels often, so I’m usually very careful. This time, I didn’t bring many valuables with me, so I didn’t lock my suitcase when I went out. I had bought a few items from a drugstore and left them in the room. When I came back, one of the three packages was missing. I assume they didn’t take everything to avoid suspicion. I’m usually very cautious about housekeeping and potential loss of belongings, which is why I selected the “do not disturb / no cleaning” option. However, this hotel requires daily cleaning of the in-room hot spring bath. Since I booked a top-floor room with a private onsen, the front desk informed me that staff would still enter the room to clean it. I never expected that even opened, low-value cosmetics would be taken. The missing items were worth over $60. While it’s not a huge amount, it still feels very upsetting. The hotel itself is fine, but please be very careful with your belongings if you stay here. If you leave the room, make sure to take your valuables with you. The safe in the room is extremely small and cannot hold much. Overall, this experience was very disappointing."

"The room was really spacious and deep, which made for some truly elegant photos. Overall, this is probably one of the most upscale hotels in Atami. While there's no free shuttle to Atami Station, there's a bus stop right outside, and the front desk can also help arrange a taxi. There was a Chinese-speaking woman with shoulder-length hair and glasses, who was incredibly polite and had excellent service sense. The hotel facilities are also great; the public onsen is definitely worth trying – it's very clean and even has free drinks. Breakfast was good too; not a huge variety, but the quality was decent. The only reason I didn't give a perfect score is that the hotel's Wi-Fi signal for laptops was really poor, making it impossible to work. After I reported it to the hotel, they couldn't offer any solution other than moving rooms, but they didn't have another vacant room of the same type, so that didn't work out. All in all, the hotel itself is excellent and definitely among the top-tier in Atami for quality."

"I booked this hotel to watch the fireworks on the evening of the 26th. The price was double, and there were no ocean-view rooms left, only mountain-view rooms in the new building, which included breakfast and dinner for 4000 yen. It was still very expensive. Check-in was on the second floor of the old building. The staff was very inefficient, and their English was extremely poor, making communication very difficult. The room was relatively clean, and there was only enough space to open one large suitcase. We got a complimentary visit to the Fuua Onsen (which is open to the public, last entry at 9 PM). The hotel's own onsen is in the Tower Building. Towels and bath towels were provided, and the open-air, ocean-facing onsen was particularly impressive. Both breakfast and dinner were buffet style. Dinner was decent, but there wasn't much to eat for breakfast. The hotel offers a free shuttle service to Atami Station every 40 minutes."

"Nice and spacious room with a private onsen, with a view on Mount Fuji. It was quiet and able to appreciate nature. Food is limited around apart from the two restaurants and if you don’t have a car, I wouldn’t recommend the hotel, except if you want to stay within the hotel different building and the Marriott."
