"This hotel is fantastic and fully equipped, truly a resort hotel, and many Japanese guests stay here! First, the hotel will send you an email in advance to confirm your dinner time. We booked dinner for two nights; it was a set menu, and the menu changed daily! The rooms are spacious, and there are many yukata choices! There are two hot springs ♨️, one in the main building and one in the south building. Currently, there are no private baths. We tried both. The main building's is smaller but fully equipped and less crowded. The south building isn't too far to walk to, just a few stairs! Both sides have restaurants. We stayed in the main building and dined there. Breakfast was indeed a bit of a hassle; you usually have to wait. You can go down early to make a reservation, and they'll call your room when it's ready! If you have time, you definitely need to try the hotel's facilities. It has three stops, including a free spa and an indoor water park. We went to the spa, and swimsuits were provided, which was very convenient! The internal shuttle runs until 11 PM, so you can go in the evening too! Be aware that the shuttle to the Kogen Station is the same as the internal shuttle, so make sure to ask when you get on! Both the hotel's dinner and breakfast are high-quality, and breakfast even includes sashimi rice! Plus, the hotel's souvenir shop is cheaper than the one at JR Station! I recommend having dinner at the hotel, as there's absolutely nothing around, no shops! But the hotel itself is so exciting, it's worth it even if you just stay and enjoy the hotel!"

"This stay at inatori got to be one of the best decisions made. The room came with an absolutely stunning sea view which made this trip from the bustling city worth it!! You need to add the breakfast and dinner to your package too because the food served are top quality and so so delicious. We ate till we were stuffed every single night!! There’s no other hotel that come close to this amazing experience we had here. We also enjoyed the private onsen which can be booked by paying +$$ As the place is very much catered to local tourists, most of the menu, instructions are in Japanese, so just use your translator app if you have any questions! They do have staff who can speak English / mandarin!"

"The hotel is a bit old, a common issue with older Japanese hotels. The front desk staff are all older folks, but their attitude is excellent. 1. Yukata, towels, and toiletries are all provided and free. The room has a bathtub, but for a hot spring bath, you need to go to a designated floor. It's great value for money, and the room is very spacious, making it cost-effective for multiple people. 2. The cleanliness is what you'd expect given its age; I went in with realistic expectations, as it's hard for old hotels to meet strict hygiene standards. 3. The location is excellent and convenient for transportation. It's very close to Ito Station, and you can take the first bus in the morning directly from the starting point to Mount Omuro. 4. The sea is right outside the window, so the view is fantastic! You can even watch the sunrise from your room."

"An experience at a Japanese onsen guesthouse that exceeded expectations, and my first guesthouse stay in Japan! When I dropped off my luggage, the host meticulously disinfected the wheels with alcohol. Upon check-in, the owner gave a detailed explanation of the hotel facilities. The room was a traditional Japanese tatami style. As soon as you enter, there's the restroom. I have to mention, the Japanese really do practice water recycling here; the water from the sink directly flows into the toilet tank. The room also had a private onsen, and the owner thoughtfully provided tea and sweets. The biggest highlight of this place is taking a cable car to the top floor to enjoy the natural outdoor onsen bath – it was absolutely wonderful. When we left, the uncle personally carried our luggage to the entrance (to protect the old facility, you can't push luggage inside), which was a huge plus! Afterward, they offered a complimentary ride to Ito Station. The only thing that could be improved: I hope the bathrobes are clean."

"I stayed at this hotel for two nights and it absolutely deserves a five-star review! As soon as you walk in, you're greeted by a beautifully designed garden, which is stunning. The staff welcome you at the entrance and help carry your luggage to your room. Here are the highlights from my two-day stay: 1. Every staff member provided excellent service, and the environment was comfortable. The room was very clean, making for a relaxing and pleasant stay. The hot spring facilities were also fully equipped, with everything from hair dryers to iced water. 2. The meals were prepared with great care. We thoroughly enjoyed the extensive menu, and the lobster dish was particularly delicious. The staff were very attentive to our feedback; when we mentioned the conch from the first day was a bit bitter, they immediately adjusted the menu for us. The ingredients were fresh and the food tasted excellent throughout our stay. 3. The hot springs were amazing! This was a pleasant surprise for us. The hotel's pictures didn't show much, so we initially thought there was only one private bath. However, there are actually five, and you don't need to book in advance – if no one's at the entrance, you can just go in. Each private bath is meticulously designed and very beautiful inside. This was the most satisfying part of our stay! Here are a few things to note if you're planning to book: 1. The hotel does have quite a few stairs, but they are all short flights. We didn't find them problematic, but it's something to consider if you're traveling with elderly guests. 2. One minor drawback was that the corridors outside the rooms don't have air conditioning. They're essentially open to the outdoors, so it was quite hot during our summer visit. AC is only available inside the rooms. So, the walk from the room to the private baths was a bit warm. However, luckily, there's a dedicated lounge next to the private baths where you can cool down with AC after your soak, and there's even a machine dispensing iced tea, which was wonderful! 🤩"

"Stepping into the hotel was such a pleasant surprise! It felt like entering a Southeast Asian resort. Facing the endless ocean, my mood immediately relaxed. The service was also excellent; staff escorted us to our room and meticulously explained how everything worked. For dinner, since my daughter doesn't eat seafood and there wasn't an à la carte menu, the hotel specially prepared Udon noodles and Western dishes for her – we were so grateful! In the evening, lying quietly by the pool, gazing at the stars and moon with my favorite music playing in my headphones – this is what life is all about! I'd love to come back and stay a few more nights if I get the chance."

"The hotel is located at the South Exit of Mishima Station. Make sure you don't go to the wrong exit, as the North and South exits of Mishima Station are not connected! After exiting the station, turn right, and the hotel is just a short walk away. Take the escalator inside up to the second floor, and you'll find the hotel lobby. From the moment you check in, you'll find views of Mount Fuji everywhere: the public area on the 2nd-floor front desk, the floor-to-ceiling windows in the guest rooms, the 14th-floor onsen, and the 13th-floor restaurant. You can gaze at Mount Fuji just by looking up, and if you're lucky, you can catch breathtaking views at sunrise and sunset. Despite being right above the station, the hotel is very quiet. Downstairs, there are izakayas, unagi restaurants, coffee shops, yakiniku, and convenience stores all very close by. Rakujuen Garden is also right next door. The hotel's breakfast quality is excellent. I especially loved the grilled fish and their fruit; the menu didn't repeat over two days, and the ingredients were fresh. Eating while looking out at Mount Fuji truly enhances the experience. I highly recommend this Mount Fuji Mishima Tokyu Hotel; you absolutely must stay here if you're visiting the area."

"My brother and I stayed at Hotel Associa Shizuoka during our trip, and it was absolutely fantastic. The location couldn't be better – it's directly connected to JR Shizuoka Station, which made traveling around the region so easy and convenient. The view was absolutely breathtaking! Our room was on one of the upper floors, and we had a stunning panoramic view of Mount Fuji right from our window. Waking up to that sight every morning was unforgettable. The city views at night were equally beautiful. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. The beds were great, and we slept really well. The bathroom was also well-equipped and modern. The breakfast was excellent – a wonderful buffet with both Japanese and Western options, all fresh and delicious. It was the perfect way to fuel up for a day of exploring. The staff were professional, polite, and always ready to help with a smile. They made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. Overall, Hotel Associa Shizuoka offered us amazing value, incredible views, and top-notch service. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Shizuoka!"

"This was my mother and daughters' first international trip together, and thanks to this place, we had such a happy and enjoyable time! 🥰 Everyone was incredibly friendly, and both the outdoor private onsen and indoor hot spring bath in our room were clean and beautiful! 👍 My mom had been wanting to go to a hot spring for years, and she was absolutely thrilled and very satisfied. 💜 Dinner and breakfast were also fantastic; you could really feel the effort put into each dish, and we got to try new ingredients, so it was all delicious! 😍 If you're driving from Shizuoka by rental car, I highly recommend taking the toll road! We took the free road and ended up learning to drive in Japan 'Spartan-style' on our first day, thanks to the massive forest roads and fog. Haha. We received the best hospitality during our stay, which helped my mother and daughters make truly wonderful memories. 🧡 Thank you so much. We'll definitely come back with the whole family next time! "This is a historic hotel where you open the doors with a key. There's a large supermarket and two convenience stores nearby, so meals are never an issue. The supermarket also has a washer/dryer combo. You have to lay out the futons yourself on the tatami mats. Given its age, although there are many outlets in the room, there are no USB ports. The hotel offers a daily shuttle to the nearby train station, and they'll ask you if you need it at check-in."
