"The hotel's facilities are good, and the breakfast is decent. Plus, parking is free. However, the room is too small – definitely not 30 square meters – especially the shower, which is tiny and poorly designed. While the staff are all polite, the overall impression is one of unprofessionalism, and frankly, a significant lack of professionalism. The only explanation I can think of is insufficient training. Communication seems to be a widespread issue across all departments. Here are some specific points: 1. The welcome fruit platter was missing from my room. 2. On my second day, my key card stopped working. When I asked, I was told I needed to reactivate it at the front desk, but nobody had informed me of this beforehand. 3. I explicitly told the housekeeping staff multiple times not to enter my room and not to change the towels, yet they still came in and replaced them. In summary, the training department should take full responsibility for these shortcomings!"

It's an exceptionally suitable stay whether you're traveling for business or leisure."

"Although the hotel is a bit old, the facilities are well-maintained, and the cleanliness, in particular, is exceptional. The service is also up to Hilton's expected standards. The water in the hotel tastes sweet, and I'm not sure what treatment they use, but showering feels wonderfully smooth. The swimming pool is also very clean. The children's bathrobes aren't for toddlers; they're longer, which is perfect for kids aged 9 to 10. Breakfast is very generous. The hotel's location is excellent, right across the street from the Provincial Museum and Science and Technology Museum. It's also very close to the high-speed train station. On top of that, I must give a special shout-out to Cindy at the front desk! She was incredibly warm and patient throughout the check-in process. Noticing I had a child with me, she proactively offered thoughtful special assistance, considering every detail. It made us feel so welcome and cared for while traveling. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Shijiazhuang."

Below the hotel is actually a bathhouse, with guest rooms upstairs. The rooms are really, really spacious and even include an electric mahjong table, which is great for families. However, the carpet in the hallway was quite dusty, causing some coughing for those with sensitive respiratory systems. Switching to a room facing outwards with a window that could open made a big difference."

"I stayed for four consecutive days, and I was quite satisfied with everything until the last day. On May 4th at noon, as we were in a hurry, we decided to eat at the 2046 tea restaurant on the first floor. We bought two group-buy vouchers from a popular app since there were many of us. Unfortunately, that afternoon, one of us started feeling unwell, experiencing nausea, bloating, general discomfort, and weakness. By the evening, they had vomited several times. Initially, we thought it was an individual issue, but then two more people developed the exact same symptoms: bloating, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. The unfortunate part is that we didn't realize at first that the food was the culprit, and we even ate there again that same evening... At least we didn't eat anywhere else, so there's no one else to blame... This incident cut our last day short. Besides these three most severe cases, upon further questioning, three other people also reported similar, albeit milder, symptoms that they hadn't paid much attention to. Although it's hard to pinpoint exactly which dish caused it now, we ate all three meals at the hotel, so it's highly probable there was an issue with the hotel's food... Apart from this problem, the guest rooms were fine, but it's truly disappointing for our holiday to end this way."

"I brought my parents on this trip. The hotel's location is excellent, right off the highway, which was incredibly convenient. As soon as we entered the lobby, it felt truly unique. It was like a wonderland, perfect for taking photos and checking in. The hotel staff were exceptionally warm and provided very thoughtful service. We even participated in a check-in activity with our child and received a small gift, which made our little one very happy. The hotel offers a variety of additional activities, such as traditional Chinese medicine wellness, aromatherapy, and making sachets and soaps. The content was rich, and the experience was very comfortable. There's also an indoor swimming pool in the basement if anyone is interested in trying it out. This stay was fantastic. The room even had cute dinosaur elements, which our child absolutely loved and didn't want to leave. We will definitely be staying at this hotel again."

The gym is fully equipped and the laundry room is sufficient. Breakfast: complete category and delicious. There are also Tangshan specialty snacks, which taste very authentic."

Make sure to visit during cooler weather, as the rooms don't have air conditioning and the beds come with thick duvets. Even though it gets cool outside at night, there's no screen door on the balcony, so if you leave it open, large moths will come in. You can only open the window, but it still gets quite warm inside. I stayed for two nights, and the first night was a bit hot, so I didn't sleep well. The front desk can only provide a desk fan, but it's too noisy to sleep with, so I had to turn it off. The second night, it rained and cooled down, which was much more comfortable. The surrounding environment and scenery are beautiful, and it's even more atmospheric on cloudy days. My dog loved it!

Traveling solo, I chose The Landy Hotel, and it perfectly matched my aesthetic. The overall design features a simple, natural wood style with no excessive decoration. The room layout felt relaxed and comfortable, and the floor-to-ceiling window framed the garden view like a painting. The outdoor garden is meticulously maintained, with plants thoughtfully arranged and winding paths that make for a wonderfully quiet stroll, far from the hustle and bustle. The room was clean and tidy, the amenities felt high-quality, and the staff were very friendly. I felt incredibly peaceful staying here all day – it’s a great place to unwind and recharge alone. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Aranya.

The room was spacious, easily accommodating our family of four, including elderly parents and a child, with its separate bedroom and living area. It even had a kitchen with a washing machine and dryer, and a large refrigerator, just like at home, which was perfect for storing food, and keeping drinks and snacks chilled or frozen in summer. The hotel is very close to the town center, practically right downstairs. Just a few steps away are the dining and commercial streets. It's close to KFC, and there are also many Chinese restaurants and food trucks, with all sorts of entertainment options concentrated here. The best part was the hotel's hot springs, with multiple indoor and outdoor pools. The outdoor ones felt really pleasant and not stuffy. They lit up at 7 PM, creating a lovely ambiance. It was also very convenient to access the hot springs directly from the hotel corridor. The hotel breakfast was predominantly Chinese, and quite filling.

The location is fantastic, perfect for relaxing and taking a stroll. You can easily walk or bike to Qinhuang Alley without needing a car. Location has always been Shangri-La's strong suit, which is why even if the facilities are a bit dated, I still prioritize staying here when I travel. While the facilities are a little old, they are well-maintained. The cleanliness is acceptable. The environment is absolutely wonderful. I even caught a wedding during my two-day stay. Since I was just relaxing anyway, I spent the whole morning watching from the balcony – congratulations to the happy couple! Breakfast was mediocre, crowded and chaotic, and the food was just so-so. The service was okay.

Returned for another stay and it was fantastic! The location is super convenient, right next to the ski slopes, making getting around a breeze. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a peaceful rest. Check-in was entirely self-service, quick and efficient. The facilities were complete, and the hygiene was top-notch, with a warm and elegant atmosphere overall. Great value for money, I felt comfortable and at ease throughout my stay. Highly recommend it to everyone!

Two big and one small hot spring tickets: The hot spring is really bad. It is very small. It will be frozen to death when you enter the dressing room. After changing your clothes, you will see a lot of uncles and aunts. In each different big pool, there is no staff management. Facilities: Hotel facilities are good, there is a private soup in the house. Breakfast is an ordinary box lunch. We have two large and one small rooms, but there is no child for breakfast. Hygienic: Very good, plenty of sunshine Environment: very quiet, very warm Service: thoughtful, very meticulous

The InterContinental Shijiazhuang R&F is in an excellent location, right next to Wanda Plaza and Train Head Night Market, making it a lively and bustling commercial hub. The surrounding parks offer pleasant scenery, and the overall transportation network is very convenient. The rooms are clean and tidy, creating a comfortable living environment. Our butler, Bella, provided warm, attentive, and thoughtful service. The hotel breakfast offers a rich and diverse selection, with outstanding flavors. It's an exceptionally suitable stay whether you're traveling for business or leisure.

First time staying at this hotel, and it was a pleasant experience avoiding the crowds. The breakfast buffet had a limited variety, but the taste was decent. The late-night snack options were a bit monotonous. The room was clean, and the service was good. I just wish there were more breakfast options. It's quite convenient for ordering takeout.

The location is absolutely fantastic! It's just a few minutes' walk to Laohu Stone Beach, and you're right by the sea as soon as you step out, making it super convenient to watch the sunset 🌅. The room was clean, tidy, and odor-free, the bedding was comfortable, and the facilities were complete. The service was warm and attentive, and it offers incredible value for money. Definitely my top choice when visiting Beidaihe!
