The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, not only assisting us with our luggage but also offering complimentary Americanos and lattes from the cafe, which was a really thoughtful touch. The hotel is very close to the border river, and taking a walk along the boardwalk at dusk, with the evening glow reflecting on the water, was absolutely beautiful. "A quiet little courtyard. The moment I stepped inside, I knew all my fatigue from the journey was worthwhile! The reception area was warm and comfortable, with books and exquisite leather carvings (made by the owner himself) on the shelves for me to browse. Walking into the courtyard, the cosmos flowers bloomed joyfully and proudly. Passing through the flower-lined path and climbing to the second-floor balcony of the restaurant, I could capture a breathtaking sunset with a casual snapshot. Even more unforgettable was the evening, when the owner's sister would gather around a stove in the courtyard to brew tea. Guests from all rooms could sit around the stove, enjoying milk tea, fruit, and listening to the owner's stories about building the house. Just as I was about to return to my room, I looked up and saw a sky full of stars. The owner then introduced me to various constellations, and with the help of a volunteer, I took my first-ever photo of the Milky Way. Of course, the room itself was even better—very cozy, with carpets covering the floor, satisfying my habit of walking barefoot. The bathroom was exceptionally clean, and a comfortable hot shower completed my wonderful day."
