This is a wonderful Hotel. We are getting married and had our reception dinner there as well as put family up there for the night. The service, staff, food and facilities were great. Will most certainly recommend this place to anyone.

We stayed on the 5th of September. It's a beautiful hotel.
We enjoyed everything about this place except the unbearable heat in the room. It was impossible to sleep. There was a portable fan but it was very noisy.And even when it's on, it wasn't helpful. No air conditioner. We had a very poor sleep.
And no matter how much we enjoyed the gym, swimming pool, food, friendly staff and the atmosphere of the hotel, we would not stay here next time.

I recently stayed at the G Hotel. While there were some wonderful aspects, it didn’t quite live up to the glamorous impression it gives online. The location is a bit away from town and not truly on the lake as described. About half the rooms overlook the parking lot, which is disappointing. The foyer feels more like a three-star hotel — not the luxury welcome I expected. The hallways to the rooms were poorly lit, and the carpet made it difficult to roll luggage, even with a great suitcase.
On the positive side, the staff was absolutely amazing. Every person we encountered went above and beyond, delivering genuine five-star service. The hotel rooms themselves were spacious, stylish, and very comfortable — really lovely once you got past the initial impression.
What stood out to me is that just down the road, the Galmont Hotel lobby was exquisite — exactly the kind of first impression I would have expected from the G Hotel. If the G could match its service and rooms with a lobby and setting to match its image, it would truly be a standout

El hotel es muy conveniente si viajas desde Dublin a Galway, ya que se encuentra en la carretera y hay únicamenteunos minutos de desvío. Las camas son cómodas y el desayuno es buffet. Se aparca de forma gratuita.

The hotel boasts an elegant surrounding environment, distinctive interior decor, and fantastic rooms! Most notably, a welcome reception was held upon arrival, with the owner personally taking photos of guests. At dinner, Chinese and Irish flags were displayed on the tables, and printed photos were given to guests. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious, and the owner and hotel staff were polite and friendly. Overall, a very good experience! Five stars, highly recommended!

Nice hotel, But I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the bathtub. When I added hot water to the bathtub, a lot of dust and even a hair came out.
I had to wash and rinse the tub several times to get it clean.
I understand that hotel service is low in Ireland, but this is a 4-star hotel. The price for rooms is high for Europe. It would be great, at least nice to clean.
Breakfast was great, delicious.

The room is spacious, and the bathroom and dining are good. It takes about 25 minutes to walk to the city.
The soundproofing of the room is poor, and the sound of people talking at the door feels like the door is open, noisy!

MMichelleI recently stayed at the G Hotel. While there were some wonderful aspects, it didn’t quite live up to the glamorous impression it gives online. The location is a bit away from town and not truly on the lake as described. About half the rooms overlook the parking lot, which is disappointing. What stood out to me is that just down the road, the Galmont Hotel lobby was exquisite — exactly the kind of first impression I would have expected from the G Hotel. If the G could match its service and rooms with a lobby and setting to match its image, it would truly be a standout

GGuest UserLess than 10 minutes by car from Galway city centre, the hotel has its own parking lot. Buffet breakfast seems to be 12 euros per person, typical Irish breakfast. The twin room is a single bed + a double bed.

GGuest UserThe hotel exudes a sense of bygone times; it was a very pleasant stay. The staff was super friendly, and this hotel, despite being a bit of a distance from the center of Galway, is definitely recommended. The only downside was that the Pullman restaurant was closed.
