You have to drive to get to convenience stores and restaurants, but the nearest ones are less than a 5-minute walk away. The fact that you can choose between a high-temperature and low-temperature sauna, and that the saunas are spacious, is a big plus. The parking lot is far away, which is inconvenient when it's raining."

"Second stay, and as good as ever! There are buses to Shin-Tamagawa Onsen from bus stop number 2 at Tazawako Station. Bus schedules vary in winter, so be sure to check the times! "My Japanese friends told me once you stay at a Dormy Inn, you'll fall in love with it, and I totally agree. Overall, I think it's very convenient and has a lot of character. If you're visiting a new city and don't have a specific hotel in mind, Dormy Inn is a pretty good choice. "I went on a business trip to the countryside and was surprised to find that Ctrip offered such a rural hotel. "This place is extraordinarily overpriced for what it is. I expected much more amenities and service. Although the staff were friendly and courteous, the place was fairly bland. The onsen was mediocre and there were no refreshments afterwards unless you wanted to go to a vending machine. Even Dormy Inn provides refreshments after the onsen but at Towado Hotel having to pay for them and not even the nice ones is ridiculous when you have to pay so much to stay here. The same for the relaxation chair. It is coin-operated not complementary. I would not recommend staying here if you’re looking for a luxury experience because although you pay for that, it’s definitely nowhere near that. Our Western style room was very basic, and it just didn’t have those special finishing touches I had hoped for. "

The large public bath, separated for men and women, was clean and comfortable, an ideal spot for relaxation. **Transportation and Summary:** The hotel is situated in a tranquil environment. As there are no nearby train stations, a self-drive is highly recommended, and the hotel provides convenient parking for guests. Considering the generous room size, professional dining service, and reasonable prices, this is a hotel with excellent value for money. I highly recommend it to travelers planning an in-depth visit to Lake Towada."
