"Strategically located in the city centre. Walking distance to shopping malls, eateries, and the popular Gaya Street. Room was spacious, clean, and good for a single traveller like me. Much improvement and refurbishment/renovation is needed for its interior if this hotel intends to change from an old-school design to a newer and exclusive look. Otherwise, it gives an impression of a 1980s to 1990s era hotel room. The furniture is old and all buttons on the bedside drawers are not usable. The bathroom door has a squeaky sound."

"The hotel is separated from the sea by a seafood market, so the view isn't strictly beachfront. There was a damp smell in the room, but I got used to it after a while. The shower stall leaks, and the bathroom floor is tiled without anti-slip properties, so be careful not to slip. The sea view is great. The executive lounge is just so-so, but the view from there is decent. The rooftop open-air bar is fantastic, well-priced, and offers good views. Sometimes there are Chinese-speaking staff at the front desk, sometimes not, but their service attitude is always excellent and friendly, so communication isn't an issue. Breakfast didn't really suit my taste; it felt quite Westernized. The hotel is very close to Gaya Street, about a 10-ringgit taxi ride or a 1.5km walk. For a few hundred [currency unit], I think it's great value for money. If it were over a thousand, I'd probably look elsewhere."

Although I saw other room types had bathtubs 🛀, ours didn't, but gazing at that sea view still put me in a great mood. 🗣️ **Seamless Chinese Service:** The front desk has staff who speak Chinese, making check-in completely stress-free. This is very friendly for families traveling independently or elderly guests! 🍳 **Abundant Breakfast Selection:** The breakfast choices were incredibly diverse! The biggest surprise was the freshly squeezed juices, different colored Yakult drinks, and yogurts. The bakery and cold cut sections also offered a wide variety, leaving us very satisfied with our meal. 🌅 **Rooftop Pool Sunset:** The outdoor lounge area and pool on the top floor offer an excellent view. Watching the sunset here in the evening provides amazing photo opportunities 📷! 🏋️ **Well-Equipped Facilities:** The gym equipment is also new, and the design of the recreational public areas is very stylish. ⚠️ **Warning: Things to Note (Book with caution if these bother you!)** 💨 **Residual Renovation Odor:** Because it's a new hotel, there was still a noticeable renovation smell in the room. If you are sensitive to smells or traveling with a small baby, I recommend avoiding it for now and considering it again after some time for the smell to dissipate. 🔨 **Noise Disturbance:** One morning, we were woken up early by construction noise. 🔌 **Minor Hardware Glitch:** There was a minor power outage issue with the bedside socket in the room, which made charging phones inconvenient. I hope the hotel can fix this soon."

"Excellent hotel, surrounded by lush greenery, and there's even a monitor lizard on the premises. We had a ground-floor room with a stunning sea view. The room was large and felt fresh, likely one of those that had been renovated. Breakfast was excellent, with a huge selection of both European and Asian cuisine. You could order eggs cooked to your liking, make soup, try Indian-style roti, and there was plenty of fruit and vegetables, yogurt, and even Gouda and Parmesan cheeses, delicious croissants, and a coffee machine. Overall, highly recommended!"

"This place seriously blew me away. Located above Imago mall and styled like a high-end hotel, the room felt ultra-luxurious from the moment I walked in. Yes, it’s on the pricier side — but you can see and feel where the money goes. Every detail screams premium: a Dyson hairdryer, thick and fluffy slippers, electronic blinds, touch-control lighting, and a stunning bathtub that instantly sets the mood for a relaxing stay. The design is sleek, modern, and Instagram-worthy in every corner. What truly sets this place apart is the generosity in amenities. Instead of the standard small bottled water, they provide 1500ml drinking water, plus free-flow drinking water and soft drinks to enjoy anytime. Even the Starbucks cups added a classy, thoughtful touch that made the stay feel extra special. On top of all that, parking is provided, making it incredibly convenient — especially with the mall right downstairs. This isn’t just a place to sleep — it’s an experience. If you love luxury, comfort, and those little details that make you say “wow”, this place absolutely delivers."

"It was great and convenient stay. The parking were quite hustled a bit (because the hotel were connected to the mall i guess), except if you added 50/15myr per day for the valet parking. The room were better compared to those other legend hotels in Tawau; the floor carpet bit dirty and furniture quite oldies. The tv were working fine. The toilet were average; not to dirty but not too clean also. Toiletries were okay BUT they don’t provide toothbrush. Hm. Also we got the room that were strategically behind the aircond blower of the mall. The room soundproof quite decent; you can still hear people talking when they were at the hallways. The mall behind got lot of shop; stalls, restaurant, saloon, cinema, massage parlour and at night, you can also enjoy a street food market 4 minutes by walking on the other side of the hotel. So far we enjoyed the stay here. The staffs were varies; some were good; some maybe tired or just lazy, idk but checkin and out process were smooth."

"I was really disappointed with this hotel experience. (The staff were very friendly, but the hotel facilities and soundproofing were poor.) The bathroom facilities were extremely basic, and the overall room amenities felt cheap and ordinary. Perhaps due to the materials used in the renovations, you could hear everything going on upstairs. This definitely needs improvement, especially considering it costs 700 RMB per night. 🫪"

"The place is beautiful. The ocean and the beach are amazing. The hotel is seafront, a few steps and you’re swimming in the ocean. The rooms needs a lot of maintenance and deep cleaning, our room had many things need to be repair so, they gave us upgrade to a huge wood villa with 2 floors. The restaurant is ok… but no delicious. Breakfast is not so good but they prepare eggs as you like. The hotel needs dee cleaning and a lot of maintenance. They have places looks like abandoned."
